Love at First Sight

Petals danced around the dancing figure on the water, her head swayed to the rhythm, she was like an angel, so innocent, so pure, so loving, and . . . beautiful.

His amber eyes watched her, as she danced, it was so mesmerizing just watching her hourglass figure sway to the steady rhythm of the birds and the leaves, and her voice . . . it was entrancing. Just watching her made him feel all the tingles and sensations one would feel when making love.

Why does she make me feel this way? It was an appropriate question for the way he was feeling, after all they had yet to meet . . .

"She's so beautiful . . ." he whispered, quietly so that no one could here.

As he watched her the more he wanted her, but why? He hadn't even felt this way with his ex-girlfriend, so why was he feeling this way for a girl he didn't even know?

He felt his heart beat grow faster, as she opened her eyes. They were blue, a clear blue surrounded by innocence . . . by love.

She looked at him, a look of surprise danced across her face, than she smiled. "Hi" she said simply.

Suddenly he found it hard to swallow. "Uh" he managed out, he blushed when she smiled at him again.

She walked towards him, her feet gently padding the water as she went, it was right then that she felt something. It was different; she had never felt it before . . . she felt the sensations she had when she kissed Koga, that retched wolf demon that broke her heart. She felt the pain, and was about to walk away, when a hand grabbed hold of her wrist.

"Where are you going?" he asked in a soft and gentle tone, making her heart skip a beat.

She was caught off guard by that. "I . . . umm" she tried, but nothing would come out, so she sighed. "Nowhere" she answered, sitting down beside the utterly handsome young man.

He smirked, or that's what it looked like to her, but it didn't make her swoon nonetheless.

"What's your name?" he asked looking at her fondly, if not than longingly.

"Kagome" she answered automatically. "What yours?" she asked returning the question.

"Inuyasha . . ." he answered smiling slightly, as he remembered the last time he was put in a predicament like this, he had to admit, that even a guy with his rough exterior couldn't take the pain of heartache.

"Is that your real name?" Kagome asked laying her head on his shoulder, careful not to make it seem intimate.

He glanced at her briefly. "Yeah, my Father gave it to me" he answered, removing his arm from its current position and putting it around the girl's shoulders.

"Was your father mean?" she asked looking up at him, waiting for an answer, it was than that she noticed the puppy like ears on top of his head, she nearly swooned.

"Not entirely, he was nice in some ways, mostly to my mother" Inuyasha's heart tinged at the memory of being told that his mother died on his eighth birthday . . . it still hurt.

Kagome had been looking at his face, he had been smiling awhile ago, than his expression had just turned into one of sorrow, it reminded her of the look Sango had when she lost her little brother, Kohaku. So she guessed. "Is your mother dead?"

Inuyasha looked blandly at her. "Yeah" he answered; he saw her face deepen with sorrow. "It's okay it was ten years ago" he reassured her, before smiling.

"Yeah but still, it must hurt" she said giving him a hug, he smiled into her hair. "I know how you feel."

"You sure, you don't look like you've gone through any family losses with the smile you have on" Inuyasha said smugly, smirking . . . he stopped as his nose caught onto her scent, he sniffed lightly. "You smell good" he murmured into her hair.

"Huh?" she asked when she heard the little murmuring beside her ear. She suddenly found it hard to swallow. "Inuyasha"

"What?" he asked reluctantly pulling back from the hug. "What Kagome?"

His eyes widened as he found that her face was only centimeters apart from his, he wondered why she didn't notice this, but he came to notice that she did see how close they were, and was moving closer.

He gulped, can I stand this? He asked himself, as she closed her eyes, then the feeling came, the heartbreaking feeling of love lost . . . it was a wonder why he wasn't pulling away.

She pressed her lips to his, and in a matter of seconds the world disappeared and only they were there. The kissing was not enough, she needed more. The same question came into her mind why was she doing this? As simple as it sounded, it was hard to answer; she hadn't even kissed Koga this passionately, so why was she kissing a guy she didn't even know like she loved him.

She smiled into the kiss as the thought `Love at First Sight' came into her mind, was it true was this love at first sight? Did he feel the same way? Well that was a stupid question, if he didn't he wouldn't be kissing her would he?

Inuyasha kissed her lightly, but the more he kissed her the harder the kisses were getting, not to mention his- I can't think about it, I can't think about it- He pulled back, "Kagome" he panted, his chest rising and falling.

Kagome opened her eyes, she was about to ask why he stopped, when he started kissing her again. Though this time the kisses were gentle and getting gentler. Did he love her? She asked herself but she wanted an answer. "Inuyasha?" she asked into the kiss.

He pulled back at the sound of her voice. "What?" he asked still out of breathe.

"Do you love me?" she asked, reflecting all her hope that he did, in her eyes.

Those clear blue eyes that he searched, for the meaning of the abrupt question. When he found what he wanted to see, he smiled. "I think it's love at first sight" he said, drawing his head to the crook in her neck and kissing and sucking lightly at the pale but rosy skin.

Kagome smiled, he feels the same way she snapped her gaze to the fuzzy white ears that were in front of her eyes. She raised her hands to the puppy ears; she giggled as they twitched slightly, but didn't hesitate in reaching for the puppy ears. She grabbed hold of one and rubbed.

Inuyasha purred at the arousing movements the girl was doing to his ears, he started to growl a bit. "Kagome" he moaned.

Kagome stopped her innocent act. She felt something hard against her stomach, she looked down at Inuyasha. She smiled when she remembered what it was, so she started rubbing again, a puckish grin appeared on her face.

"Kagome, stop that!" Inuyasha hissed into her ear, making her shiver. He opened his eyes, and whipped his head back, making his ears disappear in the mass of silver hair.

Kagome pouted at the act of defense. "But they're cute"

"You're cute . . . no you're beautiful" he added, undoing the sash that held tight around her perfect body. "Kagome, will you let me do it?" he asked nervously, his hands shaking slightly from nervousness.

She looked at him, smiling slightly she took his hands in her own and pulled, untying the garment, and opening her kimono.

"Kagome . . ."

"Hmm?"

"I'm going to make you mine . . ." Inuyasha whispered into her ear, making her shiver. Finally with one long sweet kiss, everything disappeared and the only two people that mattered any more were themselves and their intimate pleasures.

9 months later . . .

"Oh Inuyasha, isn't she a darling?" Kagome asked handing their beautiful darling to him.

"Of course she is, you think she's a devil, or what?" Inuyasha looked at her with a mock- shock look.

"Inuyasha, she's beautiful and cute"

"You're only saying she's cute because of her ears"

He had her on that one. "Still, she's the cutest little darling in the history of time" she said smiling triumphantly.

"You're only saying that because she looks like you"

Kagome sighed. "Why'd I marry a dope like you?" she asked herself.

"Cause you love me, and you need me to live"

"No, I think it was because I was pregnant" she said sarcastically.

"So you don't love me, eh?" he said that with such an amount of hurt, Kagome wondered if he was just acting.

"Inuyasha, you do know I was just kidding, right?" she asked moving her head closer to his face.

She was caught off guard as he quickly pressed his lips to hers, than pulled away before she had a chance to respond. "Of course I knew you were kidding, or else you wouldn't let me kiss you, or hold the baby."

She smiled, than looked down at the sleeping baby, with the ebony hair and black puppy ears. To think it was all love at first sight
