InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ love from a youkai ❯ confused and unsure ( Chapter 2 )

I don't own Inuyasha or any of the other characters in this story but I sure wish I owned Sesshy! -sighs- all well. But my birthday is coming up soon and if anyone owns him besides the wonderful people who made up this anime then feel free to give him to me.

By the way thank you to talia for the positive feed back. Ill be sure to update as often as I can, you wont have to beat me up or kill me. so I guess that's all I have to say, on with the fanfic story!!

Chapter 2: Confused and Unsure

Kagome put a hand to her lips, `He kissed me.'

Kagome sat there for quite some time. `Was he just messing with my head or did that kiss actually mean something?' she asked herself. Kagome finished washing the rags and putting away her things. She then stood up and shouldered her pack; "I guess I should get back to the village before Inuyasha comes after me."

She was slowly walking back, thinking about what had happened. `I wonder if it was a mistake. I mean Sesshomaru would never love a human.' She thought about it for a minute then remembered the little girl that he had `adopted'. `Maybe she has changed his cold emotionless attitude into a more …gentle caring Sesshomaru.' She thought about him the whole time.

She hadn't even realized she was in town until she ran into one of the villagers. "Oh sorry. My fault." She said looking up into Inuyasha's face. "Oh! Inuyasha, I didn't even see you." He looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

"Ya well maybe next time you should watch out, stupid wench." He replied in a gruff voice. Kagome closed her eyes and reframed from making him eat a big mouthful of dirt….well she at least thought about letting him get away with it. "Inuyasha," she said with big eyes and a loving tone. He looked at her and was about to answer but was sat before he even opened his mouth. "SIT!!!" she screamed.

Inuyasha went face first into the ground, not only getting a mouthful of dirt and rocks, but also leaving a crater bigger than the last one. He now had a big black eye and another bruise on his cheek, were he had slammed into a huge rock.

Once the spell had worn off and he was able to peel himself off the ground, Kagome was already almost to the hut. `What a jerk!' Kagome thought to herself.

Inuyasha on the other hand was trying to think of evil ways to get back at her. `She's going to get it this time. I'm gonna murder her.' He said to himself. As he limped toward the hut he kept thinking of ways to get back at her. About 15 minutes later he walked into Kaede's hut.

Miroku looked at him and laughed, "You must have been really anger at him Kagome." Kagome looked at Inuyasha and almost started to laugh but held it in. Shippo and Sango on the other hand began to roar with laughter. "Inuyasha you need to look in a mirror." Said Shippo in between laughs. Inuyasha sat down and groaned in pain. "Ow, my head." He complained. Kagome smiled at him and clicked her tongue, "Well if you weren't so mean maybe I wouldn't sit you as much, right?" she asked.

"Feh," was his reply. Miroku shook his head, and smiled. `If only they would share their feelings with one another then this fighting would cease. Oooo, Sango is bending over.'

He reached out a hand and groped Sango. She turned red and slapped him across the face. "Hentai!!" she screamed at him.

But Miroku just smiled, "Its always worth the pain." He smiled and closed his eyes. "Although I could do without the stinging pain in my cheek afterward." He said matter of factly. "Well Then Stop Grabbing My Ass!! You Dolt!" Sango yelled at him. "Ahh but my dear Sango that would mean I would have to refrain myself from you and seduce other ladies into loving me and bearing a child for me. And I don't think I could part from you." He said sweetly. She looked at him for a moment and smiled. "You might have gotten away with it if you hadn't said the part about your child and me bearing it." She said with a smile on her face.

Kagome laughed at the two of them and looked out the small window. `Oh Sesshomaru if only you could tell me what you felt. I wouldn't be this confused about your emotions.' She sighed as she thought this to herself. "What's the matter Kagome?" Shippo asked her. She smiled down on the young kit, then scooped him up in her arms. Kagome held him close and he hugged her back. "Nothing Shippo-chan. I just needed a hug." She said as she released him. Shippo smiled up at her, then gave her a small peck on the check before he and Kilala went out side to play.

"Hey Kagome, what's the deal? You said you were going to the hot springs but ya didn't come back wet and another thing," he was about to finish his sentence but Kagome issued another sit command before he could finish his sentence. "Jeeze Inuyasha, what's with you? You've been a real jerk lately. What's the deal?" she asked trying desperately to change the subject.

Once the spell had worn off, he lifted his head and glared at her. "What's the matter with me you ask? Well god Damn if you weren't always so sensitive," he growled at her. "I'm not sensitive. I'm just tired of you treating me like fricken dirt. My name isn't wench and its defiantly not bitch. It's Kagome. Remember? Or are you to stuck on the dead miko?"

Her last words had cut Inuyasha deep. He lowered his head and let his bangs cover his eyes. "Inuyasha i'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I'm really sorry it just slipped out." Kagome put a hand on his shoulder but he brushed it away. Inuyasha slowly stood up and walked out of the room. "Miroku you'd better go and talk to him." Suggested Sango. The monk nodded stood then followed Inuyasha.

Kagome looked at Sango and Kaede with tear filled eyes. "I didn't mean to hurt him. I was just mad." She said, trying to explain herself. "Kagome we know that ye did not mean to hurt Inuyasha. I think I will go and gather some herbs from the garden. The people are requesting certain medicines and clothes need to be mended. I will see ye two later." She smiled at them and then left the hut.

Sango sat scooted over to where Kagome was and draped an arm around her shoulder. "What's the matter Kagome? You have seemed very out of it since you got back from the spring." Sango asked her. She was thinking about weather or not to reply but then decided she could trust Sango.

"Well uhh…Inuyasha told you that we ran into Sesshomaru on the way back from the well right." She said. Sango nodded to her and she continued. "Well he wounded Sesshomaru and then Sesshomaru flew off, I was trying to tell Inuyasha he did a good job and he bit my head off. So I sat him and …"

She finished telling Sango about it and paused when she got to the kiss. "Well he uhh…he kissed me." She said. "He Kissed You!!" "Ya but I …wanted him to kiss me. Sango I think I'm in love with Sesshomaru.
