Hey guys its been a while but here I am. So are you guys ready for another wonderful chapter to this story? I sure am. Ok well here it goes.

Chapter 12: Inuyasha's apology

Kagome woke up in lord Sesshomaru's bed, covered with silken bed covers. She had been wrapped in a long fluffy tail. She stroked it and felt two arms pull her closer.

"Good morning kagome. I trust you slept well." Said a still sleepy sesshomaru. Kagome looked into his eyes and nodded. In return Sesshy kissed her gently.

"Good I would have to if I was you last night." He said smiling.

"You are now my mate, it is shown by the mark on your shoulder. Do you want to go down to lunch?"

"Lunch? How late is it?" she asked, surprised.

""Its early afternoon." He replied.

"Man did we really sleep that late?"

"Ya but it's ok. We can have food brought to the room if you would prefer that. And you can take a shower while we wait."

Kagome sat up and looked around the large room. It was decorated in somewhat dark colors. The walls were a deep blue, with dragon patterns on the bottom. He had a dresser made of a dark wood with a mirror on the top and also a large oak door leading to the private bathroom. A tapestry on the wall hid another door. She got up and walked to the mirror but what she saw wasn't what she had been expecting.

"Are you ok Kagome?" asked Sesshomaru.

"W-what happened to me?" she was still gaping at her reflection.

"You are now a full blood youkai. I knew there was no way you were truly a human. You are much too powerful. I think you just needed a boost." He put his arms around and also stared at the mirror.

Kagome now had hair that hung down to her knees and had silver tips. She had bright blue markings on her cheeks, wrist, and on her eyes. (Like Sango and Sesshomaru's eye make up) she was about four inches shorter than Sesshomaru and had a very nice figure.

"Do you like it?" he asked.

"I am as strong as a youkai too?"

"Of course, you are a full blood youkai." He answered.

Kagome sniffed the air and smelt food cooking in the kitchen on the first floor. Something she could never had smelled had she been a human.

"I will train you too control your powers, they will be over powering at first." He continued.

"Alright." she said still admiring the image before her.

They had the food brought up to their room and enjoyed a large lunch. Kagome had an appetite for more than food though. These new powers were strong and she wanted to know how to use them.

Kagome took a shower and came out dressed in a bright blue kimono to match her markings.

"You look beautiful." Sesshomaru said to her.

"Thank you." She replied.

They walked out of the room and Shippo and Rin came running up to them.

"Kagome! You're a demon." Said a surprised Shippo, jumping on to her shoulder.

"Yep, do you like it?" Kagome questioned.

"Ya your beautiful!"

"I told you." Said Sesshomaru as he picked up Rin.

"Now is she my new mommy?" questioned the young girl.

"Yes, I am." Smiled Kagome.

Rin reached out to her and Kagome held her.

"Why don't we all go out to the garden."? Suggested the new youkai.

Everyone but Sesshy agreed.

"Why not?"

"I, unfortunately, have some business I have to take care of."

"Ok, fine. We'll just have fun without you then." Said Kagome.

He scowled and Kag. kissed him before they left.

Sesshomaru went to his study in the library were an eagle demon sat waiting for him.

"Who is she?" it asked.

"She is my mate. Hello Hikaru. What do you need?"

Kagome and the children were playing tag when the smell reached her nose.

She stopped and sniffed again only to smell the scent of her friends.

"Shippo, Sango, Miroku, and Kilala are coming."

Shippo to smelt the air confirming what Kagome had just said.

A large cat demon flew over the wall and her friends landed.

"Hi guys." Said Kagome running over to them.

"Kagome?!?!" said Sango.

"Yep it's me." She said waving.

"Wow you look so different." Said Miroku.

Kagome smiled and gave him and Sango a hug.

Sesshomaru had gotten up to look at the people who had just arrived. The other demon watched as he walked to the window then almost fell out of his chair when he saw Sesshomaru smile.

(Even though I made him mellow around the I.Y. gang Sesshomaru was still his grumpy self around other demons.)

Sesshomaru went back to his desk but stopped in the middle of the room when he smelt the hanyou not to far from his castle.

Inuyasha did not smell like a full demon, but Sesshomaru was still very wary. He ran to the window and jumped down to his mate and pups. He put a protective arm around her and told the children to stay behind them.

"Sesshomaru what's the matter?" Kagome asked.

"Inuyasha is near." He answered.

The other demon floated softly down to stand next to Sesshomaru.

"The hanyou." He said.

Inuyasha jumped onto the top of the rock wall that surrounded the castle. He looked around and saw Kagome, or at least the demon Kagome, standing next to his brother.

Kagome.." he called out. "I'm sorry. I don't even remember doing what I did. I- I am so sorry."

She looked at him and walked forward.

"Inuyasha, why is there a jewel shard in your fore head?" she asked.

"There is?"

"Come here."

He did as he was told and she looked closer at the jewel.

"It's tainted. Who put it there?"

"I don't remember." He said.

Kagome put a hand over his fore head and with drew the tainted shard, purifying it instantly.

"There. I hope that was the problem." She said staring into his eyes.

"I'm sorry Kagome." He whispered, lowering his head so that his bangs covered his face. A single tear rolled down his face.

"Inuyasha please don't cry. It wasn't your fault. It was the jewel sha…"

Inuyasha put a hand over her mouth and spoke in a very serious tone.

"Kagome promises me that you will destroy that jewel once it is complete."

"I promises Inuyasha." She said. He hugged her and then fainted in her arms.

She held him up while the others ran to help her.
