Chapter 4 weekday fun

 

The huge doors opened slowly and both walked in. they heard voices coming from the living room. It was the T.V. Inuyasha was on the floor with a can of soda smiling and kagome was lying on the couch laughing at Inuyasha for some unknown reason. She turned to the two standing in the door way.

“Hi!”

“Kagome…I didn't expect you to be here.”

“You told me to think it over and I did so I'm staying”

“Very good choice kagome!” Kerieu laughed.

“Come sesshomaru, we still have corporate business to discuss.” He nodded and walked behind his hyper active father.

“Say Inuyasha what do you want to do tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow?”

“Yea, I mean its hump day!”

“Hump day??”

“You don't know?” he looked at her with his golden eyes filled with confusion.

“It's the middle of the week and some times you just gotta be happy.”

“Oh I get it, so you wanna met up somewhere after school?”

“Sure, just name the place and I'll be there.”

“Cool lets go do some karaoke downtown.”

“Yea!”

“Great I'll pick you up right after school, so don't be long.”

“Ok!” she smiled and hugged him across his neck. He laughed.

`It's been five years and she's still the same…'

 

 

Wednesday 7:00 a.m. (Tashio Manor)

 

Inuyasha had already gone. Kagome was waiting on Sesshomaru. When he finally emerged from the front door she was already down five steps from the manor.

She waved to him

“Were going to be late!”

“Why do you insist on waiting for this Sesshomaru?”

“Because I want to and I feel that it's right, after all were friends right?”

`Friends?'

“yes.”

“I mean we've known each other for a while know I would think that we are friends” he nodded.

They arrived at the school Sango was waiting for kagome at the front gate.

“Kagome! There you are! Guess what we made the club!”

“Really?!”

“Yea we have a meeting in the morning so be here early.”

“Sure Sango, you want to come with us?”

“Sure where are you going?”

“I'm walking Sesshomaru to class.” He looked at her.

“Why?”

“Out of kindness.” He looked away. They walked to his class that was stationed in the other building. Bankotsu was waiting for him at the front doors.

“Hey kagome, looking good as always.”

“Thanks Ban.” She tapped Sesshomaru on his shoulders.

“Do you want to come with us this afternoon? We are going downtown for karaoke.”

“I have more important things to do than to sing.”

“Well ok do you want anything?” he sighed.

“Bring me some octopus balls from the Odiba restaurant.”

“No problem.” He handed her money, she gave it back.

“I don't need to use you're money, I can buy it for you. No need to worry, you don't have to pay me back.” She smiled. Sango was tugging her arm.

“we're going to be late!” she waved.

“Bye!” they both jolted for the main building.

“Wow Sesshomaru, you got yourself a good one, mating season is just around the corner you know.”

“Quiet.”

“So I take it you're going to spy on her again?” he slapped him on the back of his head.

“I said quiet.”

 

 

Wednesday (Majori High) 3:00 p.m.

 

Kagome and Sango waited outside the main gate when Inuyasha pulled up. Sango awed at the Hanyou's beauty.

“Sango this is Inuyasha, the other Tashio brother.”

“y-you are Sesshomaru's brother?!”

“Yes now get in.”

“Wait for us!” Miroku and Kouga hopped in.

“Who the hell are you?!”

“My good man it's nice to finally meet this famous Hanyou. I'm Miroku you're local high school monk.” He turned to kouga who was growling.

“Keh, no need to introduce me to him, mangy wolf.”

“Shut up dog breath!” kagome sighed.

“I take it you've already met?”

“Yea I've met the flea bag.”

Kouga's look was smug.

 

 

Karaoke house 4:30 p.m.

 

“Ok every body lets sing!”

The music in the small private room was loud enough to be a full club.

Kagome was the first to start

“Kokoro no naka no jiorama no machi wa

Kibou no hikari de jirameite iru

Kagerou no hane de habata ita yume wa

Kimi to boku to sagashi mono…”

Next was Sango.

“Shinjitsu wa itsumo

Hitomi ni hisonde iru aoku…”

 

They both sung in unison

“Bokura wa doko made ikou

Futari no mirai ima sasuratte

Bokura wa tabi o tsuzukeru

Eien no arika

Owarinai yume

 

Kono te o hanasazu

Oikakete ikitai zutto!”

 

The music ended and Inuyasha kouga and Miroku clapped.

“That was great!” Inuyasha had left to get some drinks shortly after.

“So miroku what are you going to sing?” kagome barely had any breath left in her.

“Um I don't know.”

“Come on Miroku, you and the others can sing a song together.”

He nodded. Inuyasha came back with two huge mega cups of sprite and tea.

“Thanks Inuyasha.” She gulped hers down as did Sango.

“Ok Inuyasha what are you guys singing?”

“We are singing rage beat.” Both girls gasped.

“Here we go…miroku Kouga lets do it!”

The music turned off and the girls were in aw.

“That was great!” sango turned to kagome.

“And they said they couldn't sing!”
