Kagome is getting ready to go back for her backpack and give the jewel shards to the gang.
She now is ready to go back to Inuyasha's time and she walks to the well’s shrine, and stands there for a moment and thought"I hope inuyasha wont be with the gang cause I can already imagine him saying why are YOU back I thought YOU were going home and never coming back ,or, I chose Kikyo so go away.!! Maybe I shouldn’t go back but my school books are in my backpack’‘
"HUH well its now or never"(most likely never LOL)
Kagome jumped in the well and disappeared though the blue light of the well. She came out of the well into Inuyasha's time. She sat there on the edge of the well for a moment and started to walk. There was a log in the path way. So she started to climb over it not noticing the sharp rock. It cut deep into her thigh.
"OWWW that hurt" she yelped.”WHY ME!”
She took out her handkerchief and wrapped it around her cut thinking is was no big deal. But didn’t notice that when she started walking it bleed through the handkerchief. She finally found the gang (Sango, Miroku, and Shippo).
HI KAGOME!! They all shouted.
Kagome didn’t respond. She then handed the jewel shards to Sango.
"W-why are you giving me these? Sango said confused.
"Because im never coming back to this era again" Kagome replied with a straight sad face scaring the group a bit.
"NEVER" The group gasped.
"yep never" Kagome said with a serious but sad look.
"WHY!!" Sango and Shippo yelled, but Miroku didn’t because he knew why.
"INUYASHA THAT’S WHY!!”Kagome said turning around so no one could see her tear up in her chocolate-brown eyes. She picked up her bag and said "Good bye I've had a good time sharing our journey together.”
She started to run then heard "KAGOME WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LEG!!” But she didn’t answer and just kept running.
Once she got to well she stopped and just sat there afraid to go back to her time. Inuyasha came out of nowhere and saw Kagome.
"K-K-Kagome...when did you get here.” Inuyasha said a bit surprised and almost fell over from seeing her.
Kagome just sat there and said with a straight tearing up face " I been hear for quite awhile, I gave the jewel shards to Sango and said my good byes to the gang. So...good bye Inuyasha.” Kagome said about to cry but didn’t , she stood up then Inuyasha saw the deep cut in her thigh wrapped with a handkerchief that was now soaked in her blood.
He thought ‘’k here’s my chance so she doesn’t leave right now and apologize later.” and grabbed her by the arm and asked "How did you get that cut?"
She replied "I got cut by a sharp rock that’s all" She looked at the cut and gasped at what she saw. The blood soaked the handkerchief and a drizzle of blood came down her leg. Before she knew it she was being held bridle style by Inuyasha. Then he said "You shouldn’t go back with such a deep injury" He was heading straight towards Keade's hut.
Once they were there they sawKeade was still there and had some fresh herbs she had just picked and would be able to help Kagome's cut so it wouldn’t get infected and heal faster. She rebandaged Kagome’s bandages, and left the hut to go get some water for Kagome and that left Kagome and inuyasha in the hut alone.
It was silent. Inuyasha broke the silents and said "Are you O.K." with worry and thought it would be his only chance to say he was sorry and maybe tell his feelings if it felt right.
"im fine" Kagome replied."and thanks, I guess i’llleave later tonight" Kagome said starting to tear up again.
Inuyasha could smell the salty tears and thought that this was his chance.
“Kagome, I really don’t want you to go.” He said softly looking down so his bangs would cover his eyes.
"The thing is why shouldn’t I, I don’t need to be here any way.....Kikyo can find the last remaining jewel shards that Naraku ha... She was stopped by Inuyasha's fingers that were now on her lips so she would stop talking and pulled her to him and embraced her, and said "Kagome, I need you with me, I no longer have feelings for Kikyo for some reason when you leave me it just doesn’t feel right and it feels like there’s an empty spot in my heart and when you come back to my era it feels so right and when I see you and your soft smile it fills the empty spot in my heart and I feel so warm around you.”Inuyasha finished up.
''I-In-Inuyasha'' Kagome said stunned and wiggled out of his grasp. "do you have a fever?" Kagome said putting her hand on his forehead a little worried because inuyasha is really never nice to her or says sweet things like that to her.
Inuyasha shook his head a little and took Kagome’s hand off his forehead and lade it down on her lap and embraced her a little tighter so she couldn’t wiggle out this time .
"Kagome, haven’t you noticed I have feelings for you" He hugged her even tighter without noticing the gang peeking thought the door.
He started to talk again ‘'please don’t go, stay with me" He said with a softer voice.
Kagome replied happily and said "I will, I will stay with you Inuyasha" She hugged him tightly. He ended the embrace and then looked deeply into her beautiful chocolate-brown eyes that where soft from tearing up.
She looked up into his amber eyes. They locked gazes. He leaned over and pressed his lips against hers, and she admeaditly pressed against his making a passionate kiss..
They held the kiss for a few moments. Then stopped and looked at each other again. Inuyasha stood up. Kagome tried to but ended up falling to her knees. He grabbed her by the hand and pulled her up to him to keep her balance and he said "Lets go get those jewel shards from Sango"
They began to head to the door. The gang was still behind the door and panicking. So they began to run back where they were hanging out at. Inuyasha and kagome were walking back where the gang was apposed to be and Kagome said that she would be staying.
Shippo jumped up out to her to be caught and yelled “YAY!!!” practically knocking Kagome over but Inuyasha stopped the fall by catching her.”watch it runt” Inuyasha yelled at the kitsune.
"Oops...Sorry Kagome" Shippo said excited and happily.
"Well, I guess I shouldn’t be the one holding these" Sango said with her eyes closed happily smiling handing the jewel shards to Kagome.
Inuyasha still holding Kagome started to say “ So are we just going to stand here, we going to go kill Naraku!” Inuyasha mumbled a bit.
“Yeah, lets get started its spring break in my time so I have three weeks of time to help hunt down Naraku” Kagome agreed.
