Inuyasha:

I wonder what Kagome's doing. I finish my ramen and start toward the stairs. "Inuyasha, clean your dishes first." I growl but do what Kagome's mother says then head upstairs. I hear soft weeping and I dash to Kagome's room. I hear her in the bathroom so I knock softly. "Who is it?" "It's me Inuyasha. Are you ok?" "Yes, I'll be out in a sec." I sit down on the bed and wait. The door opens and I see Kagome crying with a smile. "How can you cry but smile at the same time?" "I'm crying cause I'm so happy." I stare at her. "Why you so happy?" "We are going to have a baby!" She shouts her ears twitching waiting for my response. I leap up and run to her holding her in my arms laughing. "How did you find out so fast?" I ask her. "I took a test and it came positive. I smile wide and kiss her mouth softly. "Thank you, you made the happiest half demon in the world." "You make me equally happy," she tells me. We hug and kiss each other like we never want to part. "Let's tell them now." I nod and we head downstairs. I feel so blissful; I'm going to be a father.

Soata:

I watch them come downstairs hand in hand and Inuyasha grinning like a fool and Kagome smiling softly. I wonder what happened that was so wonderful that made Kagome smile like that. I stare at them thinking. "Mom grandpa can you join us in the living room?" Kagome shouts. Mom runs in and grandpa walks as quickly as he can. "Well?" Mom asks carefully. "It came out positive!" Mom laughs loudly and hug Kagome hard. "Kagome what came out positive?" I ask her. Inuyasha laughs loudly. "I was wondering the same thing," grandpa mutters. Mom smiles brightly, "I think Kagome should tell you." Kagome clears her throat, "Grandpa you're going to be a great grandpa." Grandpa's jaw drops and his eyes widen. I think about this and is kind of confused. "What do you mean Kagome?" "Oh Soata you're going to be an uncle. I'm going to have a baby." I stare in shock. "No Way!" I shout. "When? When?" "Well I think around six or seven months give or take a few weeks." I smile broadly, I'm going to be an uncle. Kagome and Inuyasha look really happy. Mom and grandpa are dancing around the room like idiots. I wonder if Kagome is still going to fight. "Are you still going to fight Kagome?" "Yes I have to. I bought a new bow and some arrows today. I won't fight like Inuyasha and the others will, I'll be shooting arrows from a distance." "OOOH ok. Can I see it." She runs into the kitchen and brings out a black bow with red flames on it and some black arrows. "I picked black so they can't see them well." "COOL."

Kagome:

Everyone looks so ecstatic. I feel Inuyasha squeezing my hand and he gives me a look that tells me it's time to go. I nod and clutch his hand in return. "Mom we have to go back. We have to prepare for battle." Mom stops dancing and her face goes solemn, "I know but please wait a minute." She runs to the basement and returns with a big box. "These were your father's." She opens the box and I see a handgun, bullets and a sword. "Take these and if anything goes wrong use them to protect yourself." I take the sword which is surprisingly light and tie it to my belt loop and then put the shoulder strap for the handgun and tighten it to fit me and load it with the handgun and fill all the pockets with bullets. "Thanks mom, I'm going upstairs and find some dark clothes." I head upstairs and find a black pair of tennis shoes and jeans and a dark blue t-shirt. I pack them in my small backpack. I go downstairs and see Inuyasha waiting for me with a huge pack of food. I smile and we rush to the well. We jump in and I feel happy and sad at the same time. I'm glad I can have Inuyasha's child but I hate that we're going to have to kill for peace.
