A/N: This is the prologue to "Love's First Kiss." I was just going to keep this as a one chapter one shot thing, but people kept asking me to continue it, so here I am.

Chapter 2: Memories and Moonlight Love
It has been a year since Kagome and Sesshomaru shared their kiss. It has been a year since Naraku's defeat. Including Inuyasha's wish and death. Kagome was looking out onto the garden below her from her chambers. She was remembering that fateful battle with Naraku where she both lost and gained love.
"Give up now and your death shall be quick and painless," said Naraku as he dodged Inuyasha's attacks. "Feh, like I would surrender to the likes of you," Inuyasha spat out as he fought off one of Naraku's minions. Everybody was fighting. Kikyou was watching the battle from a safe distance. 'How do I get the jewel shards from my retched reincarnation, with her guard dog around?' Kikyou thought to herself as she watched Sesshomaru slice a demon in half while it was sneaking behind Kagome's fighting form. "Kagome are you alright?" asked Sesshomaru. "Yeah I'm alright," answered Kagome as she loaded her bow.
'Ah, Inuyasha can help me with the jewel shards.' Kikyou thought to herself. "InuyashaÉInuyashaÉInuyasha" Inuyasha heard Kikyou called his name and was making his way towards her. "Are you alright?" Inuyasha asked worriedly. "Yes I am quite alright," answered Kikyou. "You need to get the jewel shards from my reincarnation," said Kikyou. "Yes, but that means that I would have to kill Kagome in the process," replied Inuyasha quietly. "Yes but, what if Naraku kills her first then her death would have been in vain. If you killed her I can protect the jewel shards better. Look she needs Lord Sesshomaru to protect to her," said Kikyou convincingly. Inuyasha growled at the name of his half brother. He still hasn't forgiven him for taking Kagome away from him. "I'll do it," said Inuyasha. 'If Kagome can't pick between me or stupid Sesshomaru, than nobody can have her!' Thought Inuyasha as he went towards Kagome. Stupid hanyou, as soon as those shards touch my hand I'm going to hand them over to Naraku.' Thought Kikyou as she watched Inuyasha's retreating form.
"What are you doing?!" screamed Kagome as she saw Inuyasha point his fanged sword at her. Hearing Kagome's scream, Sesshomaru was at Kagome's side in a flash. He got there in time to block Inuyasha's blow to Kagome's body with Tokijin.(sp.?) "What do you think you're doing little brother? The enemy is Naraku, not Kagome. Or are you too stupid to know which is which?" said Sesshomaru as he step in front of Kagome in a protective stance. "Get out the way! Kagome is too weak; Kikyou can protect the shards better. Kagome is just a distraction for all of us. So move!" yelled Inuyasha. Naraku stopped his attacks to see what was happening. 'How interesting, both the Inu brothers are in love with the miko. I'll let them battle it out and they will kill each other for me. I'll have the Shikon no Tama and Kagome. Thought Naraku as he watched on.
Kagome whimpered when she heard what Inuyasha said. Sesshomaru was starting to feel his control slipping away from him when he heard her whimper. "Stop you two! This is all a trick! Naraku is just waiting for you to kill each other. And Kikyou is also tricking you Inuyasha. Can't you see? As soon as you hand over the shards she's going to give them to Naraku," yelled Kagome as she got between them.
Inuyasha took this second of silence and lashed out at Sesshomaru's side. Sesshomaru using his super demonic speed grabbed Kagome and easily dodged Inuyasha's attack. After making sure Kagome was unharmed, Sesshomaru readied himself for another one of Inuyasha's attacks. Naraku seeing the two brothers fighting went for Kagome.
Both brother's stopped their fighting when they saw Kagome in Naraku's arms. "Let her go!" yelled Inuyasha. "After I get what I want, you can have her," answered Naraku. "You and Lord Sesshomaru can fight to the death and the victor can have her," said Naraku evilly. Both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha readied themselves to fight each other. "No! Don't give in it's a trick! I'll be fine!" screamed Kagome as she saw the two loves of her life fight. But both of them were too busy fighting to listen to her. "Ah, I'm afraid my little miko that they'll end up killing each other. If you give up the jewel shard and promise to be my mate I'll stop this at once. Neither will be harmed," Naraku told Kagome. Kagome looked like she was thinking about it. "Imagine it, you can be my mate. We can both be the sole rulers of all Japan. You can be happy for the rest of your life my dear. Just think about it," said Naraku huskily into Kagome's ear. Kagome took a look at him. He looked like an angel of death. He had a surreal beauty about him. When she took one look into his blue black irises she instantly became lost. She lost all train of thought. Naraku seeing this inched closer to her neck so that he could mark her as his mate. 'What am I doing?! Why am I willingly giving myself to Naraku of all people? I don't love him I loveÉ I don't know whom I love, but I know that I don't love him. I won't let him do it!' Thought Kagome angrily as her body glowed pink. Naraku let go of her immediately. Both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha looked up as Kagome started to float in air with a barrier protecting her. 'What's happening? "It's all right my child." Who's that? I am Midoriko. (Sp.?) What are you doing in my mind? I am here to guide you and also forewarn you. In order to defeat Naraku, you need use your miko powers and your endless love to do so. Concentrate all your raw passion and love and you will be able to control your powers. Now I warn you that your love will be tested. Trust in your heart and everything will be fine. But I also warn you that you will also suffer a great loss. I must leave. I believe in you Kagome.'
'What does she mean by my love will be tested? And what great loss will I experience? I have no time to think about that now.' Thought Kagome as a light bursts forward at the mass of demons attacking the group and every single demon turned to ash. Everybody stood in surprise. "NarakuÉ you have cause many a pain. What do you have to say for your self?" asked Kagome in an unearthly voice. "Nothing. I will come back and claim what is mine. Including you my dear Kagome," replied Naraku smoothly. Kagome landed in front of Naraku. She looked at him with forgiving eyes. 'All he ever wanted was love. And I shall give it to him.' To everybody's surprise, including Naraku's, Kagome hugged him. As she hugged him a pink light surrounded them both. 'Why is she doing this? For the first time in my life I feel happy and something I can't quite identify. You are feeling compassion, forgiveness, and love. Kagome answered Naraku. You can read my mind? Asked Naraku disbelieving. Yes I can. You are dying slowly but not painfully. In my heart I will always remember you as the man who died looking for love and in the end found it. The question is will you accept my love and forgiveness? Why are you doing this? Don't you hate me? After, all I did to you and your companions. I could never hate you. I never did and never will. It is not in my nature to hate and despise. I loved and admired you for going to any length to find love and fulfillment, I did and still don't agree with your methods of finding it, but in the end you have it. The question still remains. Do you accept my love? Yes, if it is love that you actually mean with your heart. I do. Then yes, I want to die peacefully if you allow this. I do and I will. Goodbye Naraku may you rest in peace. Kagome let go of him and kissed him on his cheek. She helped him to the ground. They were still surrounded by Kagome's pink light. "Thank you," said Naraku as he handed Kagome the rest of the jewel. And while holding Kagome's hand he died with a smile on his face. Kagome let go of his now cold hand and faced Kikyou.
"Why do you insist on taking what is not yours?" Kagome asked Kikyou. "The jewel and Inuyasha were mine and still are. I'm not Naraku, I will not give you any leeway," replied Kikyou coldly. "I do not ask you to give me any leeway. And Naraku didn't give me any either. He wanted to find love and he did. More than I can say for you," said Kagome indifferently. "Inuyasha loves me,' said Kikyou smugly. "Yes you are right but does he love you enough that he would give his life up to be with you?" asked Kagome quietly.
Everybody looked at Inuyasha who turned away. "I see," said Kagome who now was wearing a pure white dress. The pink glow also subsided. "I sure as hell won't let you have him!" yelled Kikyou as she readied her bow and arrow. Her aim would have been true if Sesshomaru didn't plunge his sword into her stomach. "I love you Inuyasha," were her last words when Inuyasha held her body before it turned into dust.
"I will kill you!" yelled Inuyasha as he stabbed Sesshomaru in his side. Sesshomaru was too shocked to react. He was bleeding badly. "No!' yelled Kagome as she watched in horror. 'I need to stop him. But who do I pick?' Thought Kagome desperately. After making her decision she readied her bow and let it go at strait into Inuyasha's heart before he could finish Sesshomaru off. Everybody stood still as she ran to Inuyasha's side.
"Inuyasha I'm so sorry. Please forgive me," sobbed Kagome as she held him close. "KaÉgome, I forgive you. Can you please call Sesshomaru?" said Inuyasha hoarsely. Sobbing she helped Sesshomaru to Inuyasha's side. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stab you. I lost control," said Inuyasha. "I forgive you little brother," Sesshomaru labored. "Can I ask you for a favor?" Inuyasha asked Sesshomaru. "Yes," answered Sesshomaru. "Take my sword. But can you please take care of her?" "Yes, I would be honored to be her mate and protector and thank you for the sword," said Sesshomaru who had the look of sadness upon his face. "Kagome, I'm sorry for causing you so much hurt. Can you forgive me?" Inuyasha asked Kagome. "Of course I do. I just want you to know that I love you and I always will. I want you to make a wishÉhere," said Kagome as she handed the Tama to his outstretched hand. As soon as he touched it he was in a meadow. "Inuyasha what do you wish for?" asked a woman who he recognized as Midoriko. "I don't know," he answered. "Choose wisely," was what she said. 'I could wish that I would live through this, but Kagome wanted this damn jewel gone from the world. That would be a selfish wish. I just want Kagome to be happy. Even if that means she'll be happy with Sesshomaru. But she won't be happy for long. She's human and a human's life is like a minute compare to a demon's life. I wonder if a miko as powerful as her will live forever.' Inuyasha thought to himself. "Will Kagome live forever since she is powerful?" Inuyasha asked Midoriko. "No, I'm afraid not," answered Midoriko. "Then I have made my wish. I wish for Kagome to live as long as Sesshomaru," said Inuyasha confidently. "As you wish" was all he heard when he opened his eyes to see Kagome and everybody else's face above him. "Here Kagome I wished that you would live as long as Sesshomaru. That way you both can live forever together," said Inuyasha as he handed the now pink Shikon no Tama to Kagome. "Thank you so much!" said Kagome as she hugged him. "Thank you as well Inuyasha," said Sesshomaru. "Kagome I love you and I hope that you and Sesshomaru live a long and happy life." Were Inuyasha's last words before he closed his eyes.
Kagome never forgot that night. She still felt guilty about it. That's why she hasn't mated with Sesshomaru. But looking back on it now Inuyasha wanted her to be happy. And she loved Sesshomaru more than anything. Yes she still had feelings for Inuyasha, but her heart now belonged to Sesshomaru. And he waited patiently for her to make a decision. And she was ready.
"Kagome are you alright?" asked Sesshomaru as he hugged her. "Yes, I was just thinking is all. And I'm ready to be your mate," said Kagome. "Are you sure? As soon as I mark you can't be with no other man," said Sesshomaru. "I know and I'm more ready than I've ever been,' said Kagome as she hugged him. Sesshomaru leaned in and kissed her. He has missed her kisses for the longest. He hasn't been this intimate with her since that night in the meadow.
His body was on fire as he explored her mouth with his curious tongue. He led her to their bed never breaking the kiss until they had to breathe. Taking this time to slice Kagome's kimono in half leaving her clad only in her undergarments. Kagome gasped when he started attacking her neck with his tongue. She squirmed under his touch when she started to feel a warm sensation in her stomach and lower abdomen. She moaned loudly when she felt Sesshomaru's hard member brush against her sensitive spot.
Sesshomaru now having disposing of Kagome's bra, was licking her right nipple as he massaged the other. Kagome enjoying this immensely was arching her back to get more closer to Sesshomaru's touch. Seeing this he started to work his way down her stomach and was now at her inner thighs. She moaned loudly when he plunged his tongue deep into her wet folds. Feeling her tighten he took his tongue out as he hurriedly took off his clothes.
He positioned himself at her opening. He knew this was going to hurt her since he was her first. "This is going to hurt, are you sure?" he asked Kagome. She nodded her head yes. Having whispered sorry in her ear, then kissed her as he thrusted himself deep into her braking her barrier. Kagome feeling like she was being teared in half, screamed into Sesshomaru's mouth. He was still, not wanting to cause her more pain.
After feeling her hips moving to meet his member, he kissed away her trail of tears, then started to thrust himself in deeper. Kagome moved in rhythm with him. All both of them could hear was the slap of skin and each other's moans. Feeling like she was going to explode, Kagome urged him to go faster and harder. After hearing her pleas, Sesshomaru used all the speed and power he possessed to bang into her.
After his final and hard thrust both of them screamed each other's name. "KAGOME!" "SESSHOMARU!" While releasing his seed he bit her on her neck. Kagome was too overcomed with her release to feel the pain of his bite. Sliding out of her he turned to look at her.
"I love you," said Kagome as she snuggled up in his tail. "I love you too," was all he said after he kissed her. And there they slept blanketed in the moonlight that shone in their room.
A/N: That was my first lemon. Sorry it wasn't very descriptive. Like I said it was my first. Also because, my parents were hanging around. Well anyway I hoped you liked it.

"Kagome are you alright?" asked Sesshomaru as he hugged her. "Yes, I was just thinking is all. And I'm ready to be your mate," said Kagome. "Are you sure? As soon as I mark you can't be with no other man," said Sesshomaru. "I know and I'm more ready than I've ever been,' said Kagome as she hugged him. Sesshomaru leaned in and kissed her. He has missed her kisses for the longest. He hasn't been this intimate with her since that night in the meadow.
His body was on fire as he explored her mouth with his curious tongue. He led her to their bed never breaking the kiss until they had to breathe. Taking this time to slice Kagome's kimono in half leaving her clad only in her undergarments. Kagome gasped when he started attacking her neck with his tongue. She squirmed under his touch when she started to feel a warm sensation in her stomach and lower abdomen. She moaned loudly when she felt Sesshomaru's hard member brush against her sensitive spot.
Sesshomaru now having disposing of Kagome's bra, was licking her right nipple as he massaged the other. Kagome enjoying this immensely was arching her back to get more closer to Sesshomaru's touch. All both of them could hear was the slap of skin and each other's moans. Feeling like she was going to explode, Kagome urged him to go faster and harder. After hearing her pleas, Sesshomaru used all the speed and power he possessed to bang into her.
After his final and hard thrust both of them screamed each other's name. "KAGOME!" "SESSHOMARU!" While releasing his seed he bit her on her neck. Kagome was too overcomed with her release to feel the pain of his bite. Sliding out of her he turned to look at her.
"I love you," said Kagome as she snuggled up in his tail. "I love you too," was all he said after he kissed her. And there they slept blanketed in the moonlight that shone in their room.
