Love Hurts

Prologue

"For the last time, Naraku, I wont go on a date with you! I'm sorry, but I'm not ready for a relationship like that!" a frustrated Kagome Higurashi yelled. Naraku asked her out on a date AGAIN. This had to be the 4th time he'd asked her out.

Both Naraku and Kagome were in High school, sophomore year. Naraku has had a crush, no wait, never mind; he's been in love with Kagome since senior year of junior high. Last year, when they were freshmen, he asked her out once, but she had rejected him. Now in sophomore year, he's asked her out 3 times, equaling a total of 4 rejections.

Naraku's face fell when he heard Kagome reject him again. "Please, just give me a chance," he said in a soft voice "I promise you you'll have the greatest time of your life, just give me a chance." Kagome sighed, feeling extremely guilty. "Ok, fine. I'll go out on a date with you, but only once, ok?" Naraku looked up in shock at Kagome, a huge grin on his face, "Great! I'll pick you up at six, on Sunday, ok?" Kagome nodded in agreement.

Sunday

Kagome sat at the table across from Naraku, smiling. She was actually having a really good time! Naraku was really funny, and he was nice, sensitive, charming, and kind of cute. Kagome really liked him, and she knew he liked her. After they ate dinner (which was at a 4 star restaurant) they went to see a movie. Kagome thought the movie was hilarious, and it was directed by one of her favorite directors too! It appeared they both had the same tastes in movies!

Kagome walked with Naraku up the steps to the Higurashi shrine, and turned to Naraku once they got to the top. She said, "Arigato Naraku, for a great time. We should do this again; Call me" She leaned over and kissed Naraku on the cheek. He blushed, and nodded. He quickly left in a hurry, and left a blushing Kagome at the top of the Higurashi Shrine stairs.

After a couple more dates, Kagome and Naraku got closer and closer. At first Naraku seemed sweet, and kind, but as the weeks passed by, his true colors started showing.
