Hey!!!!! I'm back again with another chapter! Sorry it took a that long! ^_^ Well, here's chapter 2! Oh yeah, before I go writing the story I wanna thank you all for your sweet comments!!! ^_^
:::In The previous chapter:::
Last time, Kikyo wished to meet Inu Yasha and they did. But they weren't alone. They had another person who listened to their whole conversation and saw the whole thing. Kagome saw Inu Yasha and Kikyo embracing which makes her think that Inu Yasha is still not over Kikyo. So, she decides to leave the Feudal Age forever. Never to come back…………
Chapter 2 - Fire………
"You smell good, Kagome………"
"What did you say, Inu Yasha?" Inu Yasha looked at the woman next besides him. He suddenly stepped back from her.
"You're not Kagome………" The woman didn't understand him.
"What are you talking about?" Inu Yasha shook his head and removed the woman's hands from his shoulders.
"Kikyo, I'm sorry………… I shouldn't have come here in the first place. I need to be alone for a while." Kikyo stared at Inu Yasha. Then she flared up.
"It's that bitch Kagome, isn't it?!" Inu Yasha glared at her.
"Don't you ever dare to call Kagome a bitch………" After those words, he jumped from tree to tree, away from the big forest, away from Kikyo.
"Inu Yasha…………Someday, I WILL make you mine. I promise…………"

"Sango! Wait up!!!" The black haired girl stopped running and turned around.
"Houshi Sama!!! What were you doing? What's wrong?" The priest shook his head.
"No, nothing is wrong. I just wanted to ask you something about Kagome Sama." Sango shrugged.
"I have no idea. She'll probable be with Inu Yasha right now. You know, celebrating the defeat of Naraku…………" Miroku understood Sango's hint.
"Yeah, probable………… Say……… Sango, now we're talking about celebrating Naraku's defeat………" Sango turned totally red.
"YOU PERVERT!!!!! Get your hands of my but!" Sango slapped into Miroku's face. With that, Sango walked away angrily.
"Sorry…………Couldn't help myself…………"

"That pervert! Who does he think he is?!" Sango didn't watch where she was walking. So, she bumped into someone. It was a girl.
"Kagome Chan!" Kagome looked up and stared at Sango.
"Sango! What are you doing here?"
"Kagome Chan, I would like to ask you the same thing! What's with the bags and all. Are you planning to go back to your world? Does Inu Yasha know?" Kagome looked at the bags in her hands.
'I………I don't know how to tell her……… I mean, what CAN I tell?!' Sango looked at Kagome with a worried look on her face.
"Is everything alright, Kagome Sama? You didn't have another fight with Inu Yasha, did you?" Kagome quickly shook her head.
'Kagome, you're worrying too much. After all, Inu Yasha knows Kikyo longer than he knows me. I've got to let it all go.' Kagome was sunk in her deep thoughts.
"No, there's nothing wrong Sango, but thanks for your con…………" Kagome wanted to finish, but apparently, she couldn't. All of the sudden, she was attacked by someone. She was standing in fire. Kagome screamed of the pain. The fire was burning deep down her skin. She kept screaming.
"Kagome Chan!!!!!" Sango looked at the youki behind Kagome, who was burning Kagome.
"Jaki!!!" Sango stepped back as she saw Sesshoumaru's little help.
"Hehehehe………… This human will burn away. Till there's nothing left!!!!" Sango had no idea what to do. Then she saw a bucket of water, quickly she grabbed the bucket and threw the whole bucket with water all over Kagome, who was lying down the floor. Not moving. Sango looked at Kagome and saw the fire damage. It was bad. Very bad………
"Hiraikotsu!!!!" The boomerang hit the Jaki and he fled away. The boomerang returned to the owner. Sango quickly took Kagome to the cabin.

"Kagome, tell me what to do! Please tell me what to do………" Inu Yasha was still jumping from tree to tree. He lost Kikyo's sight already. Inu Yasha had no idea what to do. He wanted Kikyo. But she wasn't the only one. He was also thinking about Kagome.
"What about Kagome? What about her? If only………… if only she didn't make this so hard for me. I just can't figure it out. Have I fallen in love with Kagome too?" Inu Yasha shook his head.
"No, Kikyo is the only one for me." But then Inu Yasha knew that he was lying to himself. He could fool his friends, he could fool Kikyo, he could even fool the whole world, but not himself. No……… deep in his heart, he knew that his heart was part of himself and the other part was either Kikyo or Kagome.
"Kikyo……… Kagome………… Why are you making my world turn upside down? When there was Kikyo, I knew that she was the one for me. But now I'm not that sure anymore. Now that you, Kagome has come into my life." Inu Yasha didn't stop jumping until he saw the big tree. The Goshin Boku. That was the place where he and Kagome ever met. Where she pulled his arrow out. The arrow which Kikyo shot at him at the same place.
"Kagome…………"

"Kaede Sama!!!! Kaede Sama!!!!!" Sango ran in to the cabin. An old woman appeared in front of the young woman. It was Kaede Sama. Sango was really relieved.
"Sango?! What happened?!" But Sango had no time to explain it all.
"Kaede Sama. I will explain it later. But right now, we have to take care of Kagome." Kaede Sama stared at the girl who Sango laid down.
"What?! That's Kagome! What happened?!" Sango quickly went to the bedroom. She quickly get the bandages. She also grabbed the medicines which might help Kagome's fire damages.
"We had a fight. With Jaki." Kaede Sama's eyes went wide open.
"Isn't that Sesshoumaru's help?" Sango nodded.
"What does he want?" Sango looked at Kaede Sama.
"I don't have any clue. Maybe they're not after the Tessaiga anymore, but after Kagome……… I hope I am wrong." Kaede Sama nodded. She crossed her arms and watched Kagome breathing heavily.
"Poor girl. What she's been through."
