At the table, everyone was staring at InuYasha with disapproval. Sango was giving him a death stare. He felt very uncomfortable.

 

“I didn't mean it to come out that way,” said InuYasha.

 

“Gee, it sounded like it did,” snapped Sango.

 

“You are an asshole InuYasha, why did you even invite her on a date if you were going to treat her like that?” asked Souten.

 

InuYasha fidgeted a little. Should he tell them? Should he tell them that he likes her?

 

“It's none of your gods damn business,” huffed InuYasha. Everyone twisted his or her mouths.

 

Sesshomaru sighed. “I think it'll be best if we leave, InuYasha pay the bill and meet us outside.”

 

Everyone except InuYasha left the table. The waiter came and InuYasha gave him his credit card. A few minutes later, the wait came back and InuYasha signed the receipts and left.

 

His brother and friends were already in the car. He went inside and sat in the far corner, trying not to look at anyone's hateful gaze. He felt bad, but he didn't want to show it. His mouth always talks before his mind tells him what to say. He hated that.

 

`I'm such a insignificant bastard,' he thought as he gazed out the window.

 

They dropped the girls off. The girls kissed their boyfriends and said good-bye and then the boys went back to InuYasha and Sesshomaru's beach house.

All of the four girls were wondering how Kagome was doing. The creped to her room and slightly opened it. They peered in and saw that her things were packed. Her face was towards the door and her eyes were red.

 

“I'm going to kick the son of a bitch's ass,” Sango hissed and Souten nodded.

 

“It looks like she is leaving tomorrow,” Rin whispered.

 

Ayami's face went sullen. “Maybe it's for the best. She probably needs to be alone and away from all of this.”

 

Then they silently closed the door and went to the living room. Even though Rin, Ayami, and Souten had known Kagome for a short period of time, they got to know her very quickly by observing her and Sango telling them some of her history.

At the beach house, Sesshomaru, Koga, Miroku, and Shippo went straight to bed with happy smiles on heir faces. Except Sesshomaru, he just had a grim expression on his.

 

InuYasha walked outside and sat on a chair. He leaned back and watched the waves crash onto the shore. Yes, he screwed up big time.

 

He doesn't know how he became attracted to Kagome. He doesn't even know her. He does that that she gets picked on big time at their school. He has the power to stop it, but he never did.

 

InuYasha has the same lunchtime as her and Sango. He sometimes sees Kagome looking his way and when he catches her, she quickly looks away. He always smiled; she can seems so innocent.

 

She always came back to school after what she went through the day before. He always wondered why. The same thing happened day after day, but she still came back.

 

`I want to get to know her, see the true side of her, not the physical, but the emotional. I have to earn her trust to get her to open to me. I have a lot to make up for,' he thought, `But how do I start?' He closed his eyes and rubbed his hands on his face up and down.
