Chapter 6: Two?!

(A/N: Hello, again, everyone! I have edited and revised my entire story, and here is the new version! Sorry for the delay on upcoming chapters, I just haven't had much time or patience recently! (A/N: Hey minna! Gomen nasai that it took me so long to update. You see, I received this one review that irked me a little. It was as follows:

"I LOVE INU FICS! No offense, but your fic kinda sucks, I mean Kag gets screwed (literally) MORE than ONCE, once was already MORE than ENOUGH! What, are you obsessed with hating Kag or just the idea of rape?!! I'm not sure, but next time try to make it so her life isn't THAT much worse than it already was!! Either way, keep writing!!"

So, dearest `crazyblade,' this message is for you:

While I am glad you enjoy Inu fics, I did not enjoy your comments on mine. When you say `no offense,' how do you expect me not to be offended at that?

If you don't like the angsty, and partly brutal, aspects of this fic, it is nobody's fault but your own.

As many other people seem to be enjoying it, I don't see the reason why I should change my way of writing because one person doesn't happen to like it.

Also, I definitely do not hate Kagome, and I definitely am not obsessed with the idea of rape. I don't see how you can come to those conclusions, it's not like you know me.

Lastly, it clearly says in the summary that Kagome gets raped. If you are so against the idea of it happening, why did you bother to read my fic? And on top of that, to review and blame me for you not liking it?

Also, nice grammar there, honey. I edited the grammar, for the purpose of this author's note...since all those green and red underlines on my computer were getting annoying.

Thanks for the encouragement to keep writing, although I assure you that if you don't like this story, you most likely won't like most of my other fics, since they are almost all this angsty.

Ok, now that I've got that out of my system, here's the long awaited chapter 6!!!)

Kagome gasped as she noted Inuyasha's red eyes and purple streaks. She couldn't deny that she was happy to see him, but she also couldn't deny that she was afraid for her own life as well...what if Inuyasha lost control completely and didn't remember her?

When Naraku chuckled and stroked one finger down her exposed core, Kagome decided she was DEFINITELY glad Inuyasha was here, demon or not. The second his finger touched her, Naraku was roughly jerked backwards and thrown into a wall. Inuyasha turned to look back at Kagome, and she gasped.

`His eyes...there is no pupil...could it possibly be? Inuyasha is not fully demon yet?' She smiled softly, and turned to crawl lightly towards the boy, now known to her as Suichii. Inuyasha scowled appreciatively that she, for once, was going to let him fight on his own.

(A/N: Has anyone else ever noticed that? She always helps him, or gets hurt somewhere through the fight. Meaning, she's involved in practically every fight somehow, even if it's just screaming his name. Whatever, on with the story.)

He bounded over to her, and in one swift movement, had her wrapped in his fire-rat's cloak. Leaning down, he growled raspily in her ear.

"No one sees my bitch naked, except for me." With that he leapt back to the man's side, and prepared to fight.

She lightly shook Suichii's shoulder, and was rewarded with a small intake of breath from his still body. She gently pulled at his shoulders until he was sitting against the wall, and smiled reassuringly at him.

He nervously looked around for his father, and was shocked to see him fighting a hanyou in a demon rage. He turned questioningly around to look at Kagome, and sighed when he saw her watching the hanyou's every move.

At the sigh, Kagome turned and spoke softly, as if afraid of her own voice.

"That's Inuyasha...he's my...." Here, she hesitated. What was Inuyasha to her? They had expressed their love, but never before had they officially agreed to `go out' or `date.'

`He did just call me his bitch, though...oh, what the hell. I mean, heck! Geez, definitely spending a little too much time with Inu's little pottymouth.'

"Your what?" Suichii questioned, very curious.

"He's my mate." Kagome said decidedly, although quieter than a whisper, afraid Inuyasha would hear.

At this, all sound on the roof stopped. Kagome quickly shut her eyes, afraid of what would happen now that Inuyasha had most definitely heard.

When nothing happened, she opened her eyes slowly, only to gasp and flail backwards. The second she had opened her eyes, she had been staring straight into golden eyes almost 2 inches away from hers.

"Inu-chan?" She whispered softly, hoping the nickname would sooth whatever temper he might have at her declaration. Instead of hearing a rough, angry response, she was shocked at Inuyasha's tone of voice.

"Did - did you....wait....do you - do you.....really want to be the mate of a - a worthless han - hanyou?" His voice was shaking nervously, and his question full of stutters.

Kagome gasped and opened her mouth to retort when Suichii screamed. Turning to face him, she saw a hideous sight. Naraku was lying on his stomach on the ground, seeming to be having convulsions.

As his body twitched and spasmed, lumps began forming in the skin and moving around, almost squirming along Naraku's back. Kagome held her breath in horror as something burst forth from within the squirming lumps.

Gobs of oozing material flew straight up into the air, and slowly began to take form. Twisting this way and that, the material started to form the shape of a person, slowly letting it down towards the ground.

Just as you could make out a pair of feet, they touched the ground. Inuyasha and Kagome's eyes slowly followed the transformation as new body parts appeared, first the feet, now legs, then a waist, shoulders, neck...head.

Kagome clutched at her heart and drew Inuyasha's haori tighter around her as Inuyasha quickly jumped protectively in front of her, growling. Simultaneously, they both shared the same exact thought.

`Naraku.'

(A/N: Confusing? Hehe, sorry. The Naraku that has just formed from the oozy stuff is THE Naraku, like the one from the feudal era. Still confused, don't worry, it'll all be explained next chapter. Yep, that's right, this is the end of this chapter. Ja ne for now!)
