High in the skies heading north toward the mountains you could see a feather flying overhead. On the feather was a beautiful wind youkai deep in thought. To say that Kagura was in a foul mood would have been the understatement of the year. Answering to Naraku's beck and call was not her cup of tea. In fact she hated the man and wanted nothing but his demise and was sure that he knew it too! Only then could she be free.

 

`What is he planning? It doesn't seem to be anything in my favor. Something about luring Kagome away from Inuyasha and gaining Kouga's shards. Is he trying to turn Inuyasha and Kagome against each other?! And if it worked it could mean the whole groups downfall. Surely they won't fall for it….at least I hope they won't. If they did it could mean my freedom as well. Inuyasha's group is one of the few who are willing to fight against Naraku. Also Kouga's jewel shards in his hands would mean more power as well which definitely wouldn't be good. How can I counter this? I might just have to obey orders and hope his plan fails. If I get in the way he'll surely make me pay with my life.

 

Continuing on her errand she just hoped and prayed that this backfired in Naraku's face. For some reason she couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning of a downward spiral for the small group of fighters. Maybe she should pay a visit to Lord Sesshoumaru just in case Inuyasha fell victim to the trap. Everyone was needed to take this bastard down after all.

 

`Just you wait Naraku, the day will come when you will rot in HELL! I personally guarantee it!'

After the encounter with Kouga the air surrounding the group was really strained. I mean it was bad before but now it was just plain ridiculous. Inuyasha was still leading the group, with Miroku lagging not too far behind with Shippou now on his shoulder and the girls in the back. Trekking through the woods not a word was said as they continued the village. Even the girls stopped talking amongst themselves. Each person was in their own little world. No one was thinking harder than Inuyasha at that moment.

`Damn that Kouga and damn his timing! I just saw Kikyou the other night and I know Kagome is already hurting from that and the DAMN WOLF just had to come in and capitalize on it too! What am I going to do? I know that I hurt her every time I go and see Kikyou but it can't be helped. She was my first love and I can't let Naraku get his hands on her. I owe it to her and she needs my protection…..why can't anyone see that?! I can't just abandon her. Kagome promised that she would stay by my side but sometimes I see it in her eyes that she's had enough. She's almost at her breaking point. When will be the last straw? When will I lose Kagome because of Kikyou? I don't think I'll be able to handle losing her for any reason, not even for Kikyou! There has to be a way to get her to understand where I'm coming from so that I don't lose her. Can't I have them both?

 

The sun was just about to set when the group of travelers were coming out of the woods and spotted a village up ahead. With any luck this would be the village that they were looking for and the demon possessed a jewel shard. Maybe then the mood would crack and they would have something to take their minds off of all their problems. Collecting a shard and rescuing a village certainly would lift everyone's spirits.

“Inuyasha do you see that village up ahead?” asked the monk.

“Yeah I see it. I don't smell any youkai in the area. Kagome do you sense any shards?”

“No nothing.”

“Damn, this can't be the village with the youkai problem. Miroku do you sense anything out the ordinary?”

“Sorry my dear friend but I also sense nothing amiss.”

Irritated beyond belief Inuyasha continued on to the village. Just because this wasn't the village they were looking for didn't mean that they didn't have any useful information.

 

`The bouzo is gonna have to talk to them because I have zero patience for wary humans right now.'

Used to the stares the group continued onward toward the middle of town, but with Miroku in the lead looking for the headsman. Taking his time he admired some of the beautiful women. Feeling Sango's angry stare on his back he let out a sigh and moved on. `DAMN, is it a crime to just look?' Coming up to a small Inn he proceeded to enter and came upon the owner.

“Why Houshi-sama what can I do for you?”

“Greeting, my friends and I are in search of a demon that has shown exceptional powers and raiding villages. Have you heard or seen such a creature?”

“Why yes a village a days walk just west of here has been rumored to been having some problems with a demon. I'm not sure what type but there is talk that the demon is unusually strong and they're having trouble getting rid of it.” Answered the Inn keeper.

“Thank you sama. If it isn't too much trouble might I get two rooms for me and my companions. If it is a days walk we should get a nights rest and head out first thing in the morning.”

“Why certainly. Bring your companions and I'll send my daughter Kimi to show you to your rooms. She'll also see to it that you have a decent meal.” Came the kind reply.

`DAUGHTER! Hmmm wonder if she is as lovely as the other fair maidens of the village.'

 

Maybe he could sneak away when Sango went to bathe. `No use getting smacked when I could get away with it.' With that Miroku turned to get the rest of the group that were waiting outside.

“Well bouzo did he have any useful information?”

“Yes my friend he did. There's a village a days walk from here that might have the demon we're looking for. Since it's nightfall I have secured us lodging and a decent meal. Ladies there is also a bathhouse here. Maybe you would like a soak before dinner?!”

 

Not even thinking twice Kagome resonded.

“That sounds nice. I could use a good soak. How about you Sango, gonna join me?”

Looking very wary of the smile on Miroku's face she finally caved. She could also use a bath. It seemed like ages since she had one. Maybe it could help her relax.

 

`That monk better not be up to no good or so help me…….'

“Yes that sounds great. Lets drop our things off and then head in.”

They followed Miroku inside where they were greeted by a beautiful young woman with a smile.

“Hello my name is Kimi. I'll be showing you to your rooms. If you'll just follow me.”

Miroku had that smile on his face that couldn't mean anything but trouble. His eyes were looking straight at the womans rear as she was leading them to their rooms for the night and his cursed hand look like it was twitching. Tonight was not going to be a good night for Sango. She could feel it.

“Well here are your rooms. Dinner will be served in about an hour. If you wish to use the bathing facilities they are that way.” She pointed to the end of the hall at the left side.

“Let me know if you need anything!” and with a beguiling smile to the handsome monk she was gone.

`I wonder if she'll see to ALL my needs.'

“Well ladies why don't you head off to your bath before dinner, me and Inuyasha will stay here and watch your things.”

“Alright but you better keep your hands to yourself houshi-sama, you hear me or hirakotsu will be reacquainted with your head later.” Came the angry reply.

He cringed but put on the best innocent face possible,

“Why Sango you wound me. Do you have no faith?! I promise I will be on my best behavior?”

“Whatever, just remember what I said.”

Picking up her things she turned to the miko.

“I'm ready when you are.”

“I'm ready let's go.” Replied Kagome

 

Leaving the room the girls headed for the bath and Miroku put his plan into action. Shippou not believing him one bit let it be known.

“You just wanted the girls to leave so you could go flirt with that girl don't you.”

“Why Shippou have you no faith in me either? I simply hurried the girls along because I know they have things to discuss in private. Well if you'll excuse me I have things to discuss with the Innkeeper.” With that he was gone.

“FEH! Damn pervert. One of these days Sango is gonna off him with hirakotsu. If she can exterminate demons then she can certainly whip his ass!”

Shippou and Kirara settled down in Kagome's sleeping bag.

Sitting himself down in the corner of the room the hanyou stayed alert. Maybe when the girls came back he could go for a run and clear his head.

`I can't think clearly when Kagome is laying right next to me after taking a bath. Her smell is too distracting. I'll never be able to think straight.'

In the bathhouse the girls were just settling down for a nice soak when the slayer decided to ask the question that had been bugging her all day.

“Hey Kagome, are you ok? I know with Kouga showing up and saying the things he said probably has you turned upside down.”

“Yeah maybe alittle. I mean….. I knew he liked me but I never knew his feelings ran so deep ya know? He seemed so sincere. I know I never gave the guy a chance but I feel nothing but friendship for him. I just wish his beautiful words came from someone else's lips.” Came the sad reply.

Silence after that. The slayer didn't know what to say to the girl who was more like a sister to her. She couldn't really offer good advice. Miroku was just as bad as Inuyasha or maybe even worse. At least the half demon wasn't a womanizer. Who really had the better love life?

`Please Miroku please prove me wrong just this once! Don't do something that you can' take back.'

On the other side of the Inn Miroku was in a room with Kimi the Inn keepers daughter whispering sweetly in her ear with his cursed hand pulling the ties to her kimono open.

`Please Sango forgive me.'

“So Kimi as I was saying I need an heir and you my fair maiden I just couldn't resist. So will you bear my child?”

“Yes.” Came the sultry reply.

Nothing else needed to be said.

Laying her on the futon he finished with the ties on her clothing. Opening up the kimono like it was a present he feasted his eyes on her body. She had the creamiest skin and it was soft to the touch. Perky bountiful breast that were begging to be sucked. Nice firm stomach that lead to the black hairs of her sex. What healthy male could resist a sight like that?! Certainly not him!

Descending back down he put his hands in their previous spots and placed himself inbetween her legs poised to enter. Devouring her breast like a starving infant he promised himself that he would not regret tonight. He would just live for the moment………
