Chapter 1- First day…Great…

BEEP BEEP BE-- “Damnit….” groaned a young girl as she hit her alarm clock in an attempt to shut it up. “Well *yawns* I better get ready…first day and all. Woop-de-fuckin doo” She mumbled when she stepped into her bathroom. After a quick shower she went to her closet to get her clothes. She grabbed a tight black shirt with a picture of a chibi Hiei from her favorite anime, Yu Yu Hakusho (AN: I like it but it’s not my fave) and some dark blue denim jeans. When she walked downstairs she stumbled over her black and white Converse sneaks. “Stupid shoes…” she said to herself as she slipped them on and headed toward the kitchen. *sigh* “Morning Mom!” “Morning Kagome. How many eggs do you want dear?” her mother asked looking away from the stove for a minute. “Actually Mom I think I’m just gunna grab some toast and eat on my way to school. Don’t wanna be late ya know.” she said sarcastically. “Alright dear, have a nice day! Oh and Kagome…be nice to the boys hun. I want you to have some company while I’m away on my business trips. Her mother said with a wink. “Mom!!! I’m only 16!” Kagome nearly screamed. “Yes well I was not much older than you when I met your father. Now hurry up or you wont be able to make friends!” her mother said as she pushed Kagome out the door, ‘I cannot believe that woman…’ Kagome thought as she made her way to Shikon High School. She was only a block away when she heard a girl yelling from her right. “Bye Grandma!” the girl said. “I’ll be home--oomph!” she had ran right into Kagome as she scurried out her house causing them both to fall over. “Owww…*gasp* oh shit! I’m so sorry!!! Damn I’m really sorry!” she said as she quickly started to help Kagome up. Kagome merely laughed at how the girl flipped out. “Heh heh, it’s alright. I’m fine really.” Kagome told her with a smile. “Whew…I am sorry though.” replied the girl as she also began to giggle. “I’m sure you wanna know the name of your attacker eh? I’m Sango.” she said and stuck her hand out. “Kagome, pleasure.” Kagome said and shook Sango’s hand. “So Sango, what’e the rush?” “Oh!!! Well I’m supposed to get to school early to meet my friends. My school is actually right over there.” Sango said as she pointed down the block. “What about you? Where you off to?” “I’m supposed to be starting school today…and I think that’s also my school.” Kagome replied with an excited smile. “Great!!! Let’s go then! You can meet my friends!” they walked to school together and chatted about how Kagome had moved only 5 houses away at the old shrine.

“Why must you always cause trouble kid?!” a man asked the silver haired boy in front of him. “I didn’t start it this time I swear! That wimpy wolf shoved me against my locker so I busted his nose.” the boy replied casually. “Well I’m going to take your word for it but you’re still going to be punished, just not as harshly as Kouga’s. Wait here while I file your papers and think of some kind of punishment for you.” the man said as he left.

“Hey Sango how do I find my classes?” Kagome asked nervously as soon as they got to the school gates. “Well I’ll take you to the office and they’ll get someone to show you around.” Sango replied. They stepped through the office doors and spoke to the clerk. “Hello ladies, how may I help you?” she asked. “Morning Ms. Yuna, this is my friend Kagome Higurashi. She’s new and supposed to be starting here today. She needs a ‘tour guide’ for a few weeks to show her around and take her to her classes ‘til she gets used to the school.” Sango told the woman. “Hmm…Higurashi…Higurashi…” the clerk mumbled as she typed on her computer. “Ah yes…welcome to Shkon High Ms. Higurashi. I’m going to find someone who has ALL your classes so it’d be easy. Let’s see *typing* ah here we are. Oh! This is perfect” she whispered to herself and grinned evilly. “Well alright Ms. Higurashi-” “Please ma’am call me Kagome it’s alright.” Kagome told her. “Oh well Kagome I believe I’ve found the perfect guide. You just take a seat right there and I’ll be right back. Sango you should head to your class or you‘ll be late.” Ms. Yuna told Sango as she walked through a wooden door which had a mini plaque that said ‘Lounge’. “Alright, guess I should go huh. I’ll try and find you at lunch ok Kagome?” “Yeah sure Sango, I’ll see ya later.” and with that the 2 girls hugged each other and Sango ran out the office. ‘Well I suppose I’ll just wait. Oh crap! I hope my guide isn’t some school geek who has sinus problems. That would so suck!’ Kagome thought to herself.
In another room…. “Mr. Saotome I have excellent news sir. It’s regarding our favorite trouble maker and his punishment.” Ms. Yuna spoke quietly. “Did you really Yuna? What did you have in mind?” he cocked an eyebrow as Yuna handed him 2 manila file folders. Mr. Saotome looked over the files and grinned. “So we have a new student who needs a school guide eh? I’m sure she will love who we pick just as much as he will love his punishment. Thank you very much Yuna.” They both walked out of the lounge; Yuna going back to her desk and Mr. Saotome going into his office to speak to the trouble maker.
