DISCLAIMER: I do not own the charactors from Inuyasha, gods do I wish that I did own the characters, even though I wouldn't quite know what to do with them. Maybe I'd make them clean my house and do as I bid? Nah, I'd just make them fall in love with each other under weird circumstances like my story? Hm... Nah, best not to daydream about something never meant to be neh?

PROLOUGE

'Flee little one, as though your very existance were threatened.' Sesshoumaru thought sadistically as he followed his obsession through the forest. Oh how he could imagine the things running through her mind at tha moment! He had begun this chase without giving her so much as an indication of his intent, and was glad that she had chosen the action she had, although anything she did wouldn't have really changed much. In no less than a day, she would be his in body and spirit, regardless of what she thought to do about it.

Why her? What did she do to deserve this? One problem followed quickly by another. Why did she find herself in predicaments like this? What did she do to get the gods of fate so angry with her?

The day had started innocently enough, she had woken up, nothing out of the ordinary right? She woke up in her room, in her bed and then as soon as she began packing for the fuedal era, a tight feeling in her stomach had started to bother her a bit. It wasn't the kind of tightness though, you would get from having a virus or something, but it was there non-the-less.

Then, with the tight feeling in her stomach only having increased, she had gone through the well. On the other side, her stomach had, thankfully, stopped bothering her, she didn't understand until just now that the tightness in her stomach had been a warning of things yet to come about. The reason the feeling had left was simply because there was nothing to warn any longer, the problem was now at hand.

So, she now in a slightly better mood, had started to climb the vines in the old well, but when her hand found the lip she found herself hauled up by her wrist. For the first half second or two she had thought Inuyasha had done it, impatient for her return, but no, was it he? Of course not! It was Sesshoumaru! Sesshoumaru-sama, taiyoukai of the western lands, and half-brother of Inuyasha! A murdering fiend!

He pulled her up until she was nose-to-nose with him, then had thrown her to the side, and in the process made her drop her pack back into the well. Though he seemed to find her crumbled form amuzing, she did not, and had of course, taken off running.

At first she had tried to run to Kaede's village, but no, he had thought of that and blocked her, and again blocked her from trying to round about and go back to the well!

Now she knew of his plans, (or so she thinks) he was going to kill her, slowly and painfully. He was going to do this because of her interferances, for her having broken his armor with her arrow, untransformed the Tetsusaiga, and yelled back at him on more than one occassion!

Sesshoumaru smirked at her back, she was slowing, her human body unable to keep going any longer, but she had given him a good chase and would be rewarded for this. Speeding up he wrapped his arms around her midsection and took off into the sky. She made a slight "Yip!" sound but couldn't draw enough air into her starving lungs to do anything more.

His youki cloud formed underneath his feet and he pressed the young miko's back against his chest tightly. He had longed for the moment when he could do this at any time he wished! He listened intently as her breathing slowed and she caught the breath he had undoubtedly chased out of her. Then, thankfully her breathing evened out completely as she passed out in his arms.

Sesshoumaru scooped her up bridal fashion then, he didn't want her to know yet what his intentions were, he found that this game was actually good for her, it would teach her what to do in case her life were ever truly threatened. Of couse, there would be no way that she could find herself in such a posission, he would gaurd her every waking minute, anyone attempting to get to her would have to kill him.
