Chapter 3: I Don't Want a Confession!

***Kagome's POV***

"Inuyasha is such an idiot. Right when I think he's being sweet, he turns back into an asshole!" I complained to Sango.

"You know how he is, talks before he thinks, it's a god given talent." Sango answered.

"Gee, thanks, Sango, that was insightful." I say sarcastically.

"You don't have to get an attitude with me, Kagome."

"I no, you're right. I'm sorry."

I sigh and look out the window I sit next to.

`What happened to Kikyo? She used to be so kind and friendly and all together a better person. When she started going to Shikon High she had said that we would still hang out, no matter how many friends she had. That was okay for a while, but then, suddenly she stopped. The only time we ever talked was at family gatherings like birthdays, holidays, and reunions.'

I look around sadly and notice that Kikyo is glaring at me.

`Kikyo, my big sister. What happened to you? You were so full of life, so wonderful and loving, but now, now you're something else. You are no longer my sister, only a shell of my once caring sibling. Nothing more, and apparently that's the way you want to keep it.'

I look back at her and see that she is now glaring and Inuyasha instead of me. Maybe it's because he has been staring at me sense this period started.

`I still don't know the reason that Kikyo changed schools. She said it was a "personal matter" so I didn't push it. Maybe I should have, when we were talking.

Then there's Inuyasha. He's my other current problem. I know he likes me but is it because he sees me as a better version of Kikyo or is it just because I'm, as Miroku, puts it "THE hot item" in the school? It's really confusing. But, I don't think that Inuyasha would do anything to hurt me. I hope I'm right...'

I again look at Inuyasha and Kikyo. Inuyasha is still staring at me and Kikyo is still glaring at him. Sad really.

`Then there's Naraku. He has always been good to my sister and I so what's the big deal with him? Everyone here seems to hate him and I don't know why. But I can say that Kikyo cringes every time he touches her, so that must mean something. I wonder what could-'

*RING, RING, RING*

`Time for lunch.'

***End POV***

As everyone got up Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, Kouga, and the rest of their group, quickly followed Kagome to the lunchroom. Inuyasha sagged along behind the rest a little, still trying to think of a way to apologize for being a complete moron earlier.

When the got to the cafeteria they all sat down at an empty table and started chatting. Well, almost everyone, Inuyasha, Kouga, and Sesshomaru kept their mouths shut because of the looks Kagome would give them, when she wasn't bluntly ignoring them that is.

Not too soon after that Kagura, Kanna, and Yura came over, everyone went silent and stared at Kagome who was waving to them.

"Hey guys!" Kagome greeted them.

"Hey, Kagome!" they said in unison.

"What do you bitches want?" Inuyasha growled.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome exclaimed. "Apologize to them!"

"What?!"

"NOW!"

"Why?!"

"Because they're my friends too! What gives you the right to be rude to them?"

"Cause' they're all related to Naraku!"

"So what?!"

"Ah! You're such a bitch! Will you just shut up for once!"

"You can kiss my ass, Inuyasha! I'm out! Good bye!"

Kagome slammed down her tray and walked away with Kagura, Kanna, and Yura.

Instantly Inuyasha was on his feet.

"Kagome! Wait!" he yelled, rushing after her. "Kagome! I didn't mean it! Wait!"

She just kept storming away until she had left Kagura, Kanna, and Yura completely and reached the doors to the parking lot. She quickly shoved them open and jogged down the sidewalk.

Inuyasha threw the door open chasing after her, breaking one pane of glass, and scaring about thirty people shitless.

"WAIT!" he shouted again.

Everyone outside and next to a window instantly looked onto the scene.

"What do you want from me?!" she screamed at him.

The students started whispering to each other after that.

"I just-"

"God, Inuyasha! Can't you think for once and leave me alone!" she yelled.

A few "Oh, my gods!" and "Inuyasha just got denied!" went around, which further pissed Inuyasha off.

Kagome ran for her car and jumped in. As she sped away Inuyasha decided to follow her, he would apologize weather she liked it or not.

As Kagome arrived home she slammed the door behind her.

A few miles back Inuyasha was still trying to figure out which way she had gone.

"Damnt! Why does she have to be so good at racing?! Where did she go?" Inuyasha yelled to his windshield.

Being the non-perceptive guy that he was Inuyasha didn't even think about checking her house. No, he kept speeding right along down the rode, past her turn-off, and back toward the school.

"I'll just have to grab Sango and Miroku, they will know where she is!" he said.

Back in Kagome's house she was currently pacing around her room.

"That idiot! What gives him the right to talk about my friends that way?! And earlier when he was arguing with Kouga and Sesshomaru about me like I wasn't even there! The nerve of him! And just know, following me like I need to be consoled as if I'm a small child! AH! I want to-"

*Ring*

"The phone."

*Ring*

"Hold on I'm coming."

*Ring*

"Hello?"

"Hey, Kagome, it's Naraku." Answered Naraku.

"What's up?!" she asked.

"Nothing, I was just wondering if you would meet me at the park next to our school in about ten minutes, I have something important to tell you." He said seriously.

"Sure, I'll be there."

"Great."

*Dial tone*

"Wonder what this is all about? Oh, well, I had better leave now so I'm not late."

With that she ran down her stairs, to her car, and jumped in.

"Where is sh-" Inuyasha was about to ask for the hundredth time, but just then a flash of red whizzed by him.

"That was Kagome! But, where the hell is she going?"

He pulled a U-turn and raced after her.

It only took Kagome a few minutes to get to her desired location because she was speeding. When she got there she pulled into one of the empty parking spaces and got out. She quickly walked up the sidewalk and started toward some benches off to the side.

She sat down and about thirty seconds later Naraku showed up and also sat down.

"Kagome." He said silkily facing her.

"Hey, Naraku, what is it that you have to tell me?" she asked.

"Kagome, I have confession to make."

"Yeah, what?"

"I love you."

"What?" she questioned, totally confused.

"As I said, I love you." This time he said it a bit less patiently.

"I don't want a confession! Please don't do this!"

"Too bad Kagome, because I love you."

"But you can't love me. Kikyo's my sister and you're-"

"No together anymore. I heard what she did to you. It is unforgivable." He said, as though closing the matter.

But Kagome wasn't going to give up that easily.

"It's impossible, Naraku, you can't love me, you know you can't."

"And why not?! Don't say because of Kikyo!" Now he was annoyed.

"It's not that, it's just that I-"

"Love someone else." He stated.

"Yeah."

"I don't care."

"Wh-"

Before Kagome even finished her sentence Naraku had effectively pinned her to the bench.

"What are you doing?!"

"Making you see. I don't care if you love me or not. I have been obbsessed with you for the past three years, but did you ever look at me?! NO! But then you can meet that dog and instantly fall in love with him! How could you?!" he shouted harshly.

"Inuyasha?" She looked blankly at him.

"Of course, who the hell did you think I was talking about?!"

"I-I-"

"Silence now!"

Naraku maneuvered himself so that he straddled Kagome's thighs and sat down, pinning her even further to the bench. In one hand he gripped her wrists and he used the other to caress her cheek.

"Get your hands off me!" she yelled.

He grasped her throat.

"Shut up!" he bellowed in her face.

"AH! HELP! INUYASHA!" she screamed.

"I told you to shut up!"

Naraku jumped off her and pulled her up by her hair while holding her wrists behind her back.

Where Inuyasha was he had finally found Kagome's car and was doing a happy dance.

"If she thought that she could avoid me that easily, she was wrong!" he said.

Then he heard,

"Shut up!" he bellowed in her face.

"AH! HELP! INUYASHA!" she screamed.

"I told you to shut up!"

Inuyasha froze.

"Was that Kagome? And the other voice it sounded like..."

"Let go, Naraku!" Kagome screamed again.

"It is her!" Inuyasha exclaimed worriedly.

Quickly he started running to the site that the voices had come from.

When he got there Naraku was kissing Kagome.

"GET OFF OF HER!" Inuyasha yelled, the rage obvious on his face.

Naraku pulled away and threw Kagome behind him.

"What do you want half-breed?" Naraku asked like he was being interrupted from his favorite television show.

"YOU GIVE HER BACK TO ME! NOW OR ELSE I'LL KILL YOU!" he growled loudly.

"If you want her come and get her!"

Inuyasha charged Naraku but Naraku dodged and caused Inuyasha to stumble onto the ground.

"You'll never get her this way you know?"

"SHUT UP!"

"Inuyasha." Kagome whispered.

She was standing a few feet away from him, wobbling slightly. Then she collapsed.

"KAGOME!" Inuyasha yelled running to her. He cuddled her to him then glared back at Naraku. "What did you do?!"

"Oh, nothing, just a little spell."

"If I didn't have to watch after Kagome right now you'd be dead!"

"Keep telling yourself that half-breed."

Then Naraku disappeared.

A few minutes later Kagome awoke in Inuyasha's arms.

"Unn...Inuyasha?" she whispered.

"Kagome!" he said happily.

"What is it?"

"You're okay!"

"Of course I'm okay, you idiot."

"Bitch."

"Hey, I resent that." She giggled.

After she got her balance again, Kagome and Inuyasha walked to their cars.

"So why did you come out here anyway?" Inuyasha asked.

"Naraku said he had something to tell me." She answered.

"Oh? What was it?"

"He said that he loved me."

"WHAT?!"

"Just take me home, Inuyasha."

"What did you say?!"

"I said that I loved someone else."

"You what? But I thought-"

Kagome leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on his lips.

"Now, take me home." She ordered.

"Right..." he murmured with a dreamy look on his face.

*A/N~ HAHA! I wanted Inuyasha to be the starry eyed one this time instead of Kagome! Remember she is not a little lonely goodie goodie who doesn't know how to kiss in this fic! Come to think of it, in any of my fics really...Anyway, on to more important matters, don't worry Naraku will get his ass beat! Kikyo too!*

Chapter 4: I Am True

"I can't believe she kissed me! Does that mean she really loves me, or was it just a fluke? I can't ever tell with her...my Kagome..." I ask myself.

`There she is, floating through the courtyard towards me. Her bright smile shinning extra cheerful today, just for me. She's getting closer, and closer, and still closer...I can smell her sweet sent getting stronger and it makes me want to profess something, anything. Kiss her back. Hold her; touch her, just anything.' I think.

*A little something extra ~Dialogue~*

Ali: Well that was fun.

Kag: Was not! Naraku kissed me! That's just wrong!

Inu: Yeah, what was up with that?!

Ali: Sorry, but it had to be done!

Kag & Inu: WHY?!

Ani: Because I said so.

Ali: Yeah that's why. *Glares at Ani-chan* You see, Kag-chan and Inu-kun, I was forced by my evil muse, Ani-chan to put in that scene! It wasn't my fault!

Inu: Should have known.

Ani: Excuse me? Ali-chan you know that that's not true! Naraku was the one who wanted that, remember? *Wink*

Ali: Oh, you are absolutely right!

Inu: Where is he, I'll kill him!

Ani: He's over there! *Points to right backstage*

Kag: Well let's go Inuyasha!

Ali: RUN! *Ali-chan and Ani-chan run like crazy people to the opposite side of the stage.

Ani: JINX!

Inu: Why you two! *Turns and runs after Ali-chan and Ani-chan*

Kag: *Covered in dust* Inuyasha! Get your but over here right now!

Inu: Oh shit *To Ali-chan and Ani-chan* Hide me!

Ali & Ani: *Evil look* Oh, Kagome...
