Chapter 3: The Decision
** 1 year and 6 months later ** (time sure does pass fast, huh?)
Inuyasha was in his dorm, trying to finish his 7-page essay which is due in 2 days. But how can can a person think when your roommate is a music lover and a lech. Not only is he cool...but he can be alittle annoying. He is always talking about girls, and how he wants soomeone to bear his child. But that wasn't the problem...the problem...Kagome. Not that he didn't call her...he couldn't come visit her...he was always caught up with work. He called once, during the vacation, but her mother picked up, and she was not home...she was on a date. He thought she had a boyfriend...and told her mother not to tell Kagome about him calling. He didn't call again. At first his grades were in the top of class...but after hearing about Kagome going out with some guy...that was all he could think about, and his grades sipped alittle.
'Kagome'
"Hey, Inuyasha...you coming to the club...it will be fun..."
"No...that's ok...I have to finish this...anyways, I don't want to see that nut...Kikyo."
"Please! She's hot! You have no girl and it won't hurt to go to the club...come on...for a hour."
"....fine...ok...I'll be there in 15 minutes..."
"You sure?..."
"Miroku...go...I'll be there in 15...ok?"
"Ok..Ok...see you later."
Sitting by his desk, he stretched out his arms, and slowly walked to hiis closet. Taking out blue jeans, and a white shirt, he quickly got dress...since the night was a bit chilly, he got out his jacket. Putting on his jacket, he quickly walked out the door.
After 5 minutes, he finally arrived to the club. Trying to find his roommate, he bumped into someone he didn't want to see.
"Hey, Inuyasha!"
"Kikyo...want to get out of my way..."
"No...come on...let's dance!"
"That's ok... I'm looking for Miroku...you seen him?..."
"Yeah...but he's busy..."
Kikyo pointed to a big crowd of girls and in the middle was Miroku, laughing and holding a girl by her waist.
'Great...there he goes again...'
Walking towards Miroku, Inuyasha gets pull back by Kikyo.
"Inuyasha, come on...Miroku is having fun...why don't you...with me?"
"I rather not..."
"But Inuya..."
"Bye..."
Inuyasha quickly walked away from Kikyo, and walked towards the window. He could see the moon and the wind started to blow alittle more chilly than before. Quickly, he put his hands in his jacket. He felt something, and pull out the object...it was the locket he had brought for himself. He slowly opened the locket to see a picture of himself and Kagome when they were very young. He opened the other side to see another picture of himself and Kagome now. In the picture they were smiling and hugging each other. Without knowing, Miroku walked towards him and saw the picture.
"Who's that?"
"AH! Don't scare me like that!"
"Soo...who's that girl there?"
"Who?...her?...she's...umm...my best friend..."
"Really?...your best friend?..."
"YES!...what else would she be?!"
"I thought that was your girl...she's very beautiful."
'I wish...'
"I haven't seen her around here...where is she from?"
"She goes to Tokyo University...it's been over a year since I have seen or talked to her."
"Oh...well classes are almost over...you should go visit her...by the way...does she have a sister?..."
"Miroku.....no...she doesn't..."
"Oh...well..."
Miroku turned around to see some of the girls walking quickly towards him.
"There you are...Miroku...come on...let's dance!"
"Ok!...Inuyasha...you'll be ok?"
"Yeah!...go have fun...I'm going back to the dorm..."
" You sure?... I mean, you just got here."
"Yeah..."
"Miroku...come on!"
"My job is never done...HA!"
Miroku soon was on the dance floor, dancing with 10 girls. Inuyasha just shook him head, and walked out of the club. He quickly got to his room, and jumped on his bed.
'Kagome...'
Looking up at the ceiling, he slowly began to close his eyes...
"HA! I know what to do now..."
Picking up the phone, he started dialing a number and was soon connected.
"Hi...I need..."
