Chapter 5: Missing The Unexpected
Making her way to her friend's house, she rang the door bell.
"Ah...Sango, you made it, come in."
"Thanks...Hi, Ms. Higurashi."
"Hello, Sango, How are you?"
"Fine..."
"That's good...dinner will be done in 15."
"Thanks, mom...come on, Sango."
Kagome draged Sango to her room. While walking up stairs, Sango noticed a bit sadness in Kagome's eyes...her eyes were usually much brighter...but then again...not to long ago Kagome has been a bit sad.
"Kagome, are you ok?"
*sigh* "No..."
"What's wrong?"
"Is just that I'm miss someone...I haven't hear from him in over a year..."
"Him?...What your boyfriend?"
"NO!" she said being deeply blushing.
"Kagome..." Sango had put a sly grin.
"NO, NO! He's NOT my boyfriend...he's...he's my best friend..."
"Best friend, Huh? Kagome...no woman can be best friends with a man..."
"What do you mean?..."
"I mean...a man and woman can't be best friends...there is always something hidden between a man and a woman..."
"Sango...I..."
"I don't know him...but just by looking at you...you like him..."
"I DON'T LIKE HIM!..."
"I stand corrected...you love him..."
"Uhh..."
"I rest my case."
"Shut up..."
"What's the big deal? So what if you're in love with your best friend?"

"Kagome..."
"...ok...but can you blame me...I knew him since I was 5!"

*sigh* "Yeah...but...I don't know...he's not even here..."
"Girls!!! Dinner's ready!"
"OK!!!"
"OHH FOOD!...Come on, Kagome...I'm hungery!"
"When aren't you not hungery?..."
After dinner was serve, Sango ate 3 bowls of rice, 2 pieces of fish and some miso soup. Ms. Higurashi looked at Sango in amazement, Kagome knew how Sango ate...she just try to keep her food from Sango.
"Wow...Kagome...Sango can eat!"
"I know...I lived with her...remember?..."
"I love that...she needs to come more often!"
Once everyone was done eating...Kagome and Sango when to then living room...
"Hey, Kagome want to go to the movies...Freddy Vs. Jason is on at 6:15?..."
"Ok...let me change..."
Kagome ran to her room, and in 10 minutes, she came back down and was ready to go.
"Come on, it's 5:55...we have to get there early...for good seats..."
"Ok...mom...I'm going to the movies, be back in a while...bye."
"Ok...have fun!"
Getting into Sango's car, Sango quickly drove off to the movies, and got tickets to see Freddy Vs. Jason.

"Come on, Miroku..."
"I'm going...let me...get...ok...let's go!"
"Finally."
Getting into his car...Inuyasha drove to Kagome's house. As he was reaching to Kagome's house...he saw a black car staring to drive away...ignoreing the car...he parked his car in same spot of the black car.
Ms. Higurashi was washing dishes when she heard the door bell rang.
"Coming..."
Walking to the door, the door bell rang again...
"I'm coming..."
Seeing Inuyasha, Ms. Higurashi walked up to him and started to rub his ears.
"My god...it's you!..."
"Hi..."
"Why haven't you call or come visit?..."
"It's a long story..."
As Inuyasha explains everything to Ms. Higurashi, she noticed the young man behind Inuyasha.
"And...who is this young man?"
"My name is Miroku...it's a pleasure meeting you..."
Miroku took hold of her hand and lightly kiss it.
'MIROKU!...'
"What nice young man..."
"Is Kagome here?"
"Kagome...oh...no, she went to the movies."
"Movies?...Does Kagome have a boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend? NO!...what you makes you think she has a boyfriend?...she's out with her friend...Sango."
"Sango? Her roommate?"
"Yes...she very nice and very pretty too!"
"Sango...does she have a boyfriend?"
"Miroku!..."
"No...well...I don't think so..."
"He's just playing...RIGHT?"
Inuyasha gave that death look at Miroku.
"Uhh...yeah...just kidding..."
"Why don't you boys come in?"
"Uhh...that's ok, umm...I have to go..."
Inuyasha started to walk away, when Ms. Higurashi called him.
"Inuyasha...Kagome has been very sad lately...she doesn't tell me what it is, but I know what it is...she misses you...alot. Come over tomorrow...she's going to be here...with her friend, Sango."
"I'm coming too!..."
Inuyasha walked up to Ms. Higurashi and gave her a hug.
"Thanks..."
"You're welcome..."
Inuyasha walked to his car dragging Miroku with him...Miroku wanted to know more about this girl, Sango. He quickly drove away, as Ms. Higurashi stood out in front watching Inuyasha drive away.
"He misses her too...alot..."
