The breeze kicked in and it ruffled his long silver hair softly. He was done with his shift, actually it had been done almost an hour. But he she would be there and if he went, he would just get lost in her black eyes like always.
“Inuyasha.”
“Sesshomaru.”
“You are done are you not? Why are you still here?”
“Yeah I’m done…and what’s it to you? I’m a grown ass man I can be where ever the hell I want!” he grumbled.
“Its my police station I can tell you to get off my property when ever I want.”

“As are you, but you don’t hear me calling you such childish names.”
“Fuck you!”
“No thank you, I have Rin for that.”
“That’s just disgusting!” Inuyasha said as he smiled, as he walked with his brother to the bar that was only a couple blocks away.
He and Sesshomaru were over their distrust over each other after a very hard and dangerous case proved to them that they needed each other. They were actually like brothers now…and he was glad they could talk without any resentment between them…but even more he was glad he finally had a brother.
“I’m telling her you said she was disgusting…”Sesshomaru said looking at his slightly depressed brother.
“ Hey!! I didn’t say that!” Rin could be scary when she was mad.
“Sure…” was all that he replied.
They walked into the dimly lit bar and walked to the stools at the end and darkest part of the bar. Light giggles and drunk laughs were herd all around. A small girl walked over and smiled at the both of them.
She bent over and gave Sesshomaru a kiss on his cheek, then on his lips.
“EWWW Stop!!!” Inuyasha said with a teasing smile.
“ He called you disgusting.” Sesshomaru said and winked at his brother.
Inuyasha froze as she turned to him her eyes glaring but then brightening.
“Why?” she pouted.
“ Sess got my words jumbled up….you know since he has so much room up there in his head because father sold his brain for a couple million?”
Rin nodded as if she understood and smiled, then took out a small not pad :
“So boys how can I help you?”
“I’ll have a sprite…” Sesshomaru said.
“Vodka on the rocks?”
She rolled her eyes and walked back to the bar, she paused at the farthest end of the bar and made a small sound of disgust in the back of her throat. Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru heard it clearly. They looked to see only to find Kikyo, sucking a man with green eyes and blond hair’s neck off. She smiled coolly and Sesshomaru could almost see the waves of despair roll off inuyasha.
“Will you move Kikyo?” a slightly annoyed voice said as she pushed Kikyo out of her way.

Both look to see who it was and Inuyasha almost pissed himself. Long chocolate hair that reached the middle of her back, bangs falling in her face. She had Light brown eyes that sparkled with anger and embarrassment. She wore a white halter top with red horizontal lines with a red half jacket, she wore a red, black, and gray school girl skirt that teased the middle of her thighs.
“Kagome. Stop being to childish. Go to the bar, I really don’t want to be seen with my little cousin.”
“Whatever Kikyo I wasn’t planning on staying with you. Or Josh.” was all she said as she walked to the bar. The bar tender Kohaku smiled almost apologetically at her she smiled back and reached other the counter to give him a big hug.
“Inuyasha? Is that you?” Inuyasha winced as Kikyo pretended she hadn’t just been making out with the American kid, and half ran to him.
The girl Kagome look to see who her cousin had just ditched Josh for and almost gasped as her eyes clashed with liquid gold. She looked away to the man next to her, he was looking at her with a cold face, nothing really showing on his face. He lifted a brow and she sighed. She walked over to where they were.
“Kikyo? Where’s Josh?”
“Who?” she asked as she coolly played with Inuyasha’s hair as he played with her hands.
“Josh. You know Tall, blond, green eyes….the one with a ‘cute little birth mark on his ass?’” Kagome quoted Kikyo’s words.
Kikyo glared at Kagome, “I don’t know who your talking about.” she said stiffly.
“I think you do.” she smiled, the cold man was glaring at Kikyo with a nasty look on his face.
“Kagome…your 16, I think you shouldn’t be in here. you’re not even aloud to drink so why be here, how ‘bout you go home?” her voice was commanding.
“18” she corrected and looked at her watch and sighed. In as only 7:00 what the hell was she going to do is Kikyo actually made her leave?
“No. she seems to carry herself with respect, and honor, she will be fine, I will make sure of it.” Sesshomaru said in a biting tone.
Kikyo glared at him and cuddled with Inuyasha as he looked anywhere but at Kikyo.
“Here ya go! So Kags what can I get you my, adorable little virgin?” she giggled and wisely dogged Kagome’s foot, as she tried to kick her.
“Must you let everyone know??” she hissed in a low tone.
“Well it’s not like they can’t smell it! Might as well say it.” Rin teased some more.
“You know her?” Sesshomaru asked.
“Yup, Sango’s Wingman.”
Kagome smiled, Sango was like a sister and Kohaku a brother. They lived with her since she was 6, when their parents passed away.
Inuyasha glanced at her and lightly sniffed at her and the clean smell of cherry blossoms and fresh rain hit him. He shifted Kikyo off his lap and placed her in a chair next to him. She protested but he ignored her. He watched her and noticed he wasn’t he only one. He sipped the drink Rin had brought him moments ago and brown eyes peeked over towards him, they quickly flashed away with a slight blush, the movement not going unseen by Sesshomaru and Rin. The glanced at each other and Rin gave Sesshomaru a small smile, she bent down to kiss him and he responded his eyes locked on Kagome.
“They like each other” Rin whispered against his lips.
“Uhn.” he grunted.
“Your no fun Sess…” she pouted and turned her attention back to Kagome “So, what will you have?”
“Shirley temple please…with like a jar of cherries in it.”
Kikyo snorted and leaned onto Inuyasha’s shoulder, “Careful Kagome, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are cops, wouldn’t want them have to arrest you…” she smiled coldly and glared at her.
Kagome ignored Kikyo but then responded sounding actually curious, “Hey you say that they are copes…why haven’t they arrested you for prostitution?”
Kikyo’s eyes sparked to life “Leave NOW!” she growled her hands sparkling with a dark bluish light, both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru scouted their chairs back. The bar got quiet.
“No.” was all she said and took out a sharp blade that slowly began to glow an almost white blue.
“What are you going to do? Stab me? How very low of you.” she hissed and walk to Kagome.
“No but I can do this!” she growled with effort and slashed the blade in front of her eyes, Kikyo instantly fell back and covered her yes with her hands.
Kagome sighed and whipped the sweat of her forehead, everyone’s eyes were on her.
“Don’t touch her until she wakes up. Touching her will purify you, just let her stay there for a while. Don’t tell her I went to Sango’s okay Kohaku?”
He nodded and she gave them an apologetic glance and walked out.

Months past and Inuyasha never saw Kagome again. Not that it mattered. If he could he would have left Kikyo long ago, but she had some strange hold on him, like a drug he could never let go of.
“Inuyasha, I have a doctors appointment so I wont be home for a couple hours, I’m not sure how long its going to take.”
“Why? Your not sick.” he said looking at her from his bed.
Kikyo, who by the way looked a little to fancy to be going to the doctors, sighed but smiled anyway: “I’m human Inuyasha. I need to go to the doctors to get a check up.”
He nodded still not believing her. She had a habit of sleeping with many people. He had never caught her doing it and he highly doubted he would be able to go back. No matter how much having her gone hurt.
“Fine whatever.”
“Okay by Inuyasha…by the way are you going to be home around 2:00?”
“No…I have to work till 7…why?”
“Oh, nothing I just wanted to see if I could bring Kagome over so if something happens to her mother, since I’m always here, she knows where to go.”
Inuyasha frowned, a sense of worry and panic went through him as she explained her little cousins situation. What the hell was Wrong with him?
“What’s wrong with her mother?”
“She has a heart disease, they say if she has another attack she wont be able to recover. She’ll either end up as a vegetable or dead. I need her to know where to go.” Kikyo said.
She sounded so aloof when she spoke about her aunt, as if it didn’t really matter. She spoke as if she only did it because she had to.
“Sure, whatever.” he responded, not really expecting anything else from her.
“Alright see you later Hun.” she said and kissed him on the cheek.
Inuyasha bit his lip and clenched his fists, it was only 10:00 and she already smelt like some other guy! He stood up and let the feeling of despair and heart break wash through him, why does she do this to him? She cared about him right? Why would she hurt him so much knowing he could smell it? He felt the feeling of sickness flash though him. He couldn’t live like this.

Inuyasha glared and sighed, he supposed that they had a point. He had been dealing with this for over 2 years.
“Well since you stayed late yesterday, you can go. There’s nothing you can really do when your like that.” Sesshomaru said as he dismissed Inuyasha, “And you two get back to work.”
“Yes sir!” Both said and marched away from him.
“Go home Inuyasha.”
“Fine.” was all said and looked at the clock, it was only 2:45...maybe Kagome was still there?

Kikyo gasped and picked up her clothes as she ran out of the apartment with her lover following close behind.
He closed his eyes and curled himself in a ball, if he could die he would. His heart was being torn in two, he slowly sank deeper into his depression as he fell asleep on the floor, surrounded by the scent of her having sex with someone else.

“Damn it Kikyo! Where the hell are you?” Kagome thought as she banged her hands on Kikyo’s door.

She looked at her watch and it said that it was 5:24. She sighed and called for a cab to take her to Inuyasha’s house.
As she got out of the cab she noticed there was very few cars in the parking lot. She asked the door man where the apartment was and he blushed and said on the third floor. She smiled and walked up.
She found the door and debated on wither to walk in or not, she decided just to walk in, she didn’t feel like pissing off Kikyo at the moment. She walked in and blinked all the light were off and it smelt strange. She walked in to the fire place and looked around only to see Inuyasha curled up on the floor.
“Inuyasha!” she half ran to him as he groggily woke up.
“What?” he said looking around but not really seeing anything but a pair of legs in front of him.
“Are you okay? Why are you on the floor? And where the hell is Kikyo?” she asked as she helped him sit up.
He at first had no clue who the hell she was still sleepy, until her sweet scent invaded his nose and took over his mind.
“Kagome? How did you get in here?”
“Kikyo asked me to come…she said just walk in…I’m sorry I should of knocked, I’m gunna leave now.” She said as she tried to scamper away.

“ He called you disgusting.” Sesshomaru said and winked at his brother.
Inuyasha froze as she turned to him her eyes glaring but then brightening.
“Why?” she pouted.
“ Sess got my words jumbled up….you know since he has so much room up there in his head because father sold his brain for a couple million?”
Rin nodded as if she understood and smiled, then took out a small not pad :
“So boys how can I help you?”
“I’ll have a sprite…” Sesshomaru said.

She rolled her eyes and walked back to the bar, she paused at the farthest end of the bar and made a small sound of disgust in the back of her throat. Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru heard it clearly. They looked to see only to find Kikyo, sucking a man with green eyes and blond hair’s neck off. She smiled coolly and Sesshomaru could almost see the waves of despair roll off inuyasha.

Both look to see who it was and Inuyasha almost pissed himself. Long chocolate hair that reached the middle of her back, bangs falling in her face. She had Light brown eyes that sparkled with anger and embarrassment. “Whatever Kikyo I wasn’t planning on staying with you. Or Josh.” was all she said as she walked to the bar. The bar tender Kohaku smiled almost apologetically at her she smiled back and reached other the counter to give him a big hug.
“Inuyasha? Is that you?” Inuyasha winced as Kikyo pretended she hadn’t just been making out with the American kid, and half ran to him.
The girl Kagome look to see who her cousin had just ditched Josh for and almost gasped as her eyes clashed with liquid gold. She looked away to the man next to her, he was looking at her with a cold face, nothing really showing on his face. He lifted a brow and she sighed. She walked over to where they were.
“Kikyo? Where’s Josh?”
“Who?” she asked as she coolly played with Inuyasha’s hair as he played with her hands.
“Josh. You know Tall, blond, green eyes….the one with a ‘cute little birth mark on his ass?’” Kagome quoted Kikyo’s words.
Kikyo glared at Kagome, “I don’t know who your talking about.” she said stiffly.
“I think you do.” she smiled, the cold man was glaring at Kikyo with a nasty look on his face.
“Kagome…your 16, I think you shouldn’t be in here. you’re not even aloud to drink so why be here, how ‘bout you go home?” her voice was commanding.
“18” she corrected and looked at her watch and sighed. In as only 7:00 what the hell was she going to do is Kikyo actually made her leave?
“No. she seems to carry herself with respect, and honor, she will be fine, I will make sure of it.” Sesshomaru said in a biting tone.
Kikyo glared at him and cuddled with Inuyasha as he looked anywhere but at Kikyo.
“Here ya go! So Kags what can I get you my, adorable little virgin?” she giggled and wisely dogged Kagome’s foot, as she tried to kick her.
“Must you let everyone know??” she hissed in a low tone.
“Well it’s not like they can’t smell it! Might as well say it.” Rin teased some more.

Kagome smiled, Sango was like a sister and Kohaku a brother. They lived with her since she was 6, when their parents passed away.
Inuyasha glanced at her and lightly sniffed at her and the clean smell of cherry blossoms and fresh rain hit him. He shifted Kikyo off his lap and placed her in a chair next to him. She protested but he ignored her. He watched her and noticed he wasn’t he only one. He sipped the drink Rin had brought him moments ago and brown eyes peeked over towards him, they quickly flashed away with a slight blush, the movement not going unseen by Sesshomaru and Rin. The glanced at each other and Rin gave Sesshomaru a small smile, she bent down to kiss him and he responded his eyes locked on Kagome.
“They like each other” Rin whispered against his lips.
“Uhn.” he grunted.
“Your no fun Sess…” she pouted and turned her attention back to Kagome “So, what will you have?”
“Shirley temple please…with like a jar of cherries in it.”
Kikyo snorted and leaned onto Inuyasha’s shoulder, “Careful Kagome, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are cops, wouldn’t want them have to arrest you…” she smiled coldly and glared at her.
Kagome ignored Kikyo but then responded sounding actually curious, “Hey you say that they are copes…why haven’t they arrested you for prostitution?”
Kikyo’s eyes sparked to life “Leave NOW!” she growled her hands sparkling with a dark bluish light, both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru scouted their chairs back. The bar got quiet.
“No.” was all she said and took out a sharp blade that slowly began to glow an almost white blue.
“What are you going to do? Stab me? How very low of you.” she hissed and walk to Kagome.
“No but I can do this!” she growled with effort and slashed the blade in front of her eyes, Kikyo instantly fell back and covered her yes with her hands.
Kagome sighed and whipped the sweat of her forehead, everyone’s eyes were on her.
“Don’t touch her until she wakes up. Touching her will purify you, just let her stay there for a while. Don’t tell her I went to Sango’s okay Kohaku?”
He nodded and she gave them an apologetic glance and walked out.

Months past and Inuyasha never saw Kagome again. Not that it mattered. If he could he would have left Kikyo long ago, but she had some strange hold on him, like a drug he could never let go of.

“Why? Your not sick.” he said looking at her from his bed.
Kikyo, who by the way looked a little to fancy to be going to the doctors, sighed but smiled anyway: “I’m human Inuyasha. I need to go to the doctors to get a check up.”

“Okay by Inuyasha…by the way are you going to be home around 2:00?”
“No…I have to work till 7…why?”

Inuyasha frowned, a sense of worry and panic went through him as she explained her little cousins situation. What the hell was Wrong with him?
“What’s wrong with her mother?”
“She has a heart disease, they say if she has another attack she wont be able to recover. She’ll either end up as a vegetable or dead. I need her to know where to go.” Kikyo said.
She sounded so aloof when she spoke about her aunt, as if it didn’t really matter. She spoke as if she only did it because she had to.
“Sure, whatever.” he responded, not really expecting anything else from her.
“Alright see you later Hun.” she said and kissed him on the cheek.
Inuyasha bit his lip and clenched his fists, it was only 10:00 and she already smelt like some other guy! He stood up and let the feeling of despair and heart break wash through him, why does she do this to him? She cared about him right? Why would she hurt him so much knowing he could smell it? “Yes sir!” Both said and marched away from him.
“Go home Inuyasha.”
“Fine.” was all said and looked at the clock, it was only 2:45...maybe Kagome was still there?

“Are you okay? Why are you on the floor? And where the hell is Kikyo?” she asked as she helped him sit up.
