Kagome ran. She ran hard and fast. Not knowing where exactly she was going. She was just running to the forest. The Perilous Forest as it is called. Tears where swelling up in her eyes but were not yet running down her cheeks.

`Why?' she thought. "Why did Kikyo have to come and ruin everything!" she screamed as she came to a sudden stop in the heart of the forest. She fell down onto her knees. The tears that were building were now running down her face.

"Or was I the one who ruined everything?" she whispered with her silent tears sparkling as they ran down her cheeks, flushed from holding in all the emotions and then the bursting of those emotions.

~ How can this be

I'm not sure

If you love me

Or if you love her~

She recalled the day's events vividly. Kikyo came into Inuyasha and Kagome's fight. He screamed at her that she wasn't as good as Kikyo and that he would always choose Kikyo over her.

"Just when we seemed to be getting along. Just when he came close to kissing me. Just when I thought he might actually love me back. I try so hard to make him!!" she told herself her voice expressing defeat.

~ No more pain

No more lies

This is so lame

Why do I try ~

"I need him to tell me! I need to know if he does love me! Even though I'm afraid I already do know the truth." She said the last sentence so quietly that she could barely hear it. "Is it me or her Inuyasha!?" she screamed to the midnight sky. "Is it me or her?" she repeated with a whisper.
