Enter kouga in this chappie and some old faces; Sango, Miroku and of course Shippo!!! ps. Not an Kag/Kouga fic! This is AU, Inu/Kag fic! *WINK*

Kagome woke up just in time to get her ass over to the air port.

'It's the last day, and Inuyasha will be leaving soon...' She sighed for the last 100th time.

She didn't bother eating anything, so she just grabbed her coats and left to the airport.

Kagome got there, about 15 minutes before the plane would leave.

She scanned the area, looking for his familliar face. She spotted him.

Inuyasha was wearing his baggy jeans (again LOL) and she couldn't quite tell what he was wearing on top since his black jacket was in her way.

She ran up to him and he saw her shape, running up to him.

He turned towards her and they braced each other into a huge bear hug.

They didn't say anything for a few while, then Inuyasha broke the silence.

"Kagome...I'm really sorry. But you know I'll be back you know that right?" He looked down at her.

She started to sob a bit. He saw this, and it almost broke his heart. He didn't want to cry with her though.

He gently brushed her bangs away and she only hid deeper into his chest, so he couldn't see her puffed up eyes from all that crying.

He sighed then used his hands to cup her face.

She now stared straight through his eyes. He smiled gently at her.

Their eyes locked for a long time, and Inuyasha made his first move.

He moved in closer and closer, and soon their faces were almost touching.

She could feel his breaths in and out, on her soft skin.

He moved in closer and now their noses were touching.

He said his last words. "Wait for me kagome."

Then their lips locked once more, pleasures flowing around them.

It was a short kiss, but for them, it was like tasting a bit from heaven.

He let go her lips before loosing himself, then gazed through her eyes.

He grinned lightly then searched through his pockets for something.

He brought out a neckless, a heart shaped one and there were actually two pieces locked up togther.

He pressed a tiny button on it, then the smaller heart from the inside came off.

He came closer to her once more then leaned in and placed the neckless around her tensed neck.

He backed up then liked the sight he was recieving. She looked so beautiful to his eyes, and yet he was now going to leave her behind.

He sighed then kissed her on her forehead. "It's time kagome."

She looked up at him. "I'll wait for you inuyasha, I promise."

They pinky sweared and Inuyasha spoke. "After a few years, i will return and will look for you. I don't know when i'll be back, so please keep that neckless on, for your life. Don't take it off, or I won't be able to find you."

She smiled sadly then they locked their eyes once more.

He smiled then whispered "Good bye my kagome." Then before she could ask why the word "My" was there, he turned around the waved.

She just smiled then waved back.

"Please come back Inuyasha! I will be waiting."

When the doors started to close, Kagome could feel her hot tears, romming and forming inside her once more.

She quickly whiped them away then looked at his direction.

"Please, come back...for me..."

Kagome could no longer see inuyasha. She turned around then started to leave the airport.

She soon came up to the road, and the green lights came on. She started to cross.

"HONK!" She turned to the direction to her left, and could see a mad driver in his Honda 2000, driving madly towards her.

She gasped but her legs wouldn't move.

The last thing she remembered was Inuyasha and their last kiss.

She touched her neckless and soon she was crashed, next to the ground.

Kagome's sight became very fuzzy and her head hurt.

She could no longer keep her eyes open, and remembered her and inuyasha's last moments together.

She gave in, and soon closed her eyes.

People crowded next to the now helpless girl, and soon out of no where a man with his hair, high in a pony tail came rushing in, and saw her.

He took no hesitation and holded her up in a bridal style and took off quickly towards the closest hospital.

Her vision was still fuzzy, but she managed to open them up atleast.

Her head hurt like shit and she had no idea where she was.

She looked around her, and saw white walls surrounding her.

That's when it hit her. She couldn't remember anything.

She started to think but her head hurted even more. She gave in and started to cry.

'Who am I?! What am I?! Where is this place?! Am I all alone?!'

Just then the door crept open and soon entered a boy.

She looked at him and dumbly stared.

She couldn't reconize anyone's face then suddenly something hit her.

'The neckless...' She quickly reached up to her neck and checked if it was still there.

Yes. It was still there, but for what purpose?

She then realized that the boy came up closer to her.

She tucked in her neckless inside her shirt and looked straight at him.

He smiled and soon she was touched.

She had no idea who this guy was, but he made her feel warm.

Out of no where, her smile returned then she asked him.

"Who am I?" He looked bewildernent for awhile, but pushed it aside.

"Um..you're my friend. My really good friend."

She thought hard, and she felt that sentence was very familiiar.

The word friend...

But she didn't want to think anymore. She got up and smiled at him.

"Okay..well i don't remember anything right now...I'm sorry."

He smiled at her. "Don't worry. You did nothing wrong. I'll stay with you from now on, so don't worry about anything."

She saw him smile once more and soon she felt, happy.

She returned his reply by simply giving him a tight hug and he hugged her back.

She felt releaved...

She still had no idea who she was, but now she knew. She was this boy's friend, a good friend. That's who she is, and that's who she chose to be from now on.

He placed her on to her bed. "Oh and soon, my friends will be here Kagome."

Kaogme...she thought. So that was her name. She liked the sound of it.

She smiled. "Okay...Hey wait, but what is your name?" She asked softly.

He looked back at her. "My name is Kouga."

He smiled when he saw her repeating his name a few times.

He left.

After 25 minutes, kagome was up from her sleep.

She saw Kouga beside her, sleeping very quietly.

She smiled and was about to touch his cheeks, when the door crept open.

She looked to see who it was.

They were three strangers. Another man, woman, and a little boy.

Kouga suddenly woke up.

He turned to see who it was that woke him up and soon smiled.

"Sango, Miroku and Shippo! I'm glad you can all made it."

They all smiled and suddenly looked at the girl next to their friend.

"So, her name is Kagome right?" Sango asked.

Sango went closer to Kagome and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Hello kagome-chan. It's nice to see you. I'm sorry that you can't remember anything about your past, but I can always be your new friend!"

Her smile touched kagome's heart and kagome hugged her.

At first Sango was shocked but soon returned the hug.

"Thankyou, What is your name?" she asked.

"Oh! my mistake my name is Sango, that is shippo, and that is Miroku. Just think of us as your brand new friends!"

Kagome smiled then looked at the boy named shippo.

He reminded her of someone, but couldn't remember who. 'A little boy...' she thought.

That's when her head started to hurt once more, so she pushed it aside.

"Thankyou everyone and especially Kouga."

Kouga blushed then let out a soft chuckle.

"Don't worry about it kag."

She froze. Where had she heard that name before? All these stuff sounded so, so familliar.

'Maybe they were really my friends.' She smiled.

'And kouga sounds really close with me. Maybe i was his best friend?'

She smiled to herself.

She couldn't remember anything, but she was going to enjoy this life.

New friends, and a new best friend.

After a few weeks, kagome was soon out of the hospital.

She still couldn't remember anything, so Kouga decided she would live in his house.

Kagome now trusted kouga, and even started to feel really open with him

Kouga on the other hand started to really like kagome.

They went shoppings together, but slept in different rooms.

Kagome thought of kouga as her really close best friend, but she didn't know that Kouga had started to gain some strong interests towards kagome.
