For her reviews. Ok on with the story. Oh and I'm pulling a lot of this geisha stuff out of my ass. By the way the only reason I named the guy Naifu was that I couldn't get the word out of my head.

Underline=means two people talking at same time
Italic= thoughts/flashbacks

Naifu- nyh~foo- knife
Bishoujo- bee~sho~jo- beautiful girl

She remembered a fight. A boy attacking the one who hurt her, her son. She remembered her. She remembered trying to help her. The feeling of weightlessness. Seeing the water come closer. The pain in her stomach. The river came closer now. She felt it's cold water. Darkness over took her.

Two young girls were caring empty pails following an old woman. Though the woman was old it was obvious that she was beautiful when she was younger, for you could still see the traces of her beauty. She was the geisha mistress. The two girls following her where the newest to join her geisha house. They had been there for a total of three days and today was there first day of training. The older one, Mizu; was 10 and the younger, Hana; was 7. They where sisters who's village was destroyed by bandits. The river was now in sight and the two girls rushed ahead eager to get going on the eerie night.
“Hana, Mizu take care not to fall in, this is the only calm part of the river.”
Yes Lady Daiya” they said as the continued to walk to the river. When they arrived at the river bank they saw something on the shore. They carefully came closer being sure to stay in the brush less it be a demon. Upon closer inspection the girls saw that it was a woman. They saw that she was breathing but barely. They came closer and saw that she had a wound in her stomach.
“LADY DAIYA! LADY DAIYA!” Mizu shouted. Trying to pull her out the rest of the way with the help of Hana.
“Children wha- Oh my children go get Naifu!” She yelled running over to the dieing Kagome.

THREE DAYS LATER

Kagome awoke to the sound of voices, and the smell of food.
“Hush now she's waking.” Said an elderly voice. Immediately the room went quiet. Kagome slowly opened her eyes to see that she was in a strange hut. She attempted to sit up only to feel a pain in her stomach. She winced then felt someone help her. She looked up to see a large man, looming over her. She eeped and attempted to crawl back only to bump into something. She turned around and finds herself looking at a little girl about seven years old. The little girl had dark eyes and light hair which had a slight curl to it, that stopped just above her shoulders. Next to the girl was one that was slightly older. It was plain to see that the two girls were sisters. The only deference was that the older girls hair was pulled into a low pony tail.
“Do not fret child Naifu is no threat and neither is Mizu or Hana.” Said a voice in front of her.” The voice belonged to an elderly woman. She had long white hair that had a tinge of grey. Her eyes were a deep blue almost black. She had a beautiful Kimono on that showed off the fact that though she was old she still had her womanly shape. Kagome also noticed the aura she was giving off and was surprised to find that she was a miko, quite powerful at that. Kagome calmed at her voice.
“Who are you?” Kagome asked in a small and horse voice.
“I am Lady Daiyamondo, you may call me Lady Daiya though; this here is Naifu, that is Hana and her older sister Mizu. Now tell me child how is it you got those wounds or in our river for that matter?”
“I don't really remember.” Kagome touched her head to find it bandaged. She looked up with a confused face.
Why don't I remember what happened to me. I mean I remember everything else like…like…
“Who am I?” It was a question for herself one that those around her couldn't answer. Daiya looked at the girl while she studied her carefully looking for a sign as to who she was if the information could be found in her eyes. In them she saw kindness, pain, betrayal, and hope. Nothing of this helped. It confused Daiya more by the fact that she could not read this girl very well, usually she could read a person and their motives in her sleep. But this girl, she was different. This girl was obviously a miko, that was easy to tell; but there was more to it then that. When Daiya looked at this girl she saw herself many years ago when the former geisha mistress had come across her, lost and confused. And like the former mistress had done for her she decided to help this poor girl.
“So what do you remember child? There must be something.” She said in a concerned voice. Naifu looked at Daiya from the corner of his eye. He had known Daiya since he was a young child at the age of three. She had found him in the forest and care for him as if he was her own son. In return he worked keeping the place respectable looking and when he grew he protected the geishas that had been like sisters to him from the men that got grabby. And in all that time he had never seen Daiya so confused about a person. She usually could tell you the person's life story before they could even say hello.

Who was this girl?

It had been three days since the end. That is what they thought of it, for it was The End.
The End of their hope. The End of their happiness. The End of their quest for Naraku.
They had bigger fish to fry then him. They were after who murdered Kagome. That person would pay dearly for what they had done no matter who they were. They would be killed…slowly.
Her death had effected them all in different ways. Shippo had become mute and started going of into the forest alone and when he came back he would be covered in blood that was a mixture of his own and the demons that he picked fights with. He would also have broken bones and other injures. Sango when they originally came to the cliff and found the dagger had cried so hard her voice went out. After that she would go to the spring that was near by and `bath' which meant that she was going cry her eyes out, but after a while she didn't even bother hiding it. Miroku had also cried when they had found out but it was nothing close to how much Sango had cried, he had more of `silent tears'. After that he prayed for Kagome's spirit, but ever since then he could not meditate what so ever. And for Inuyasha, after finding the cliff he had taken of in hopes of finding her body, when he found none he felt both dread and relief. Dread because she wouldn't have a grave, she wouldn't have a funeral to tell of her greatness, a chance for him to beg for forgiveness for everything he ever did to hurt her, call her names, constantly put her down, compare her to Kikyo, going to Kikyo, and most of all not telling her, not telling her how he truly felt. Relief for two reasons, 1 he wasn't sure he would want to see her body bloody and pale from death, and 2 deep down in the absolute bottom of his heart thought that maybe just maybe she could still be alive.
That night they found the dagger Inuyasha left the camp and did something he never did before in his adult life, not even when he thought he lost Kikyo, he cried. He cried in a way only dog demons could after losing a mate. Inuyasha new that once he found her murderer and killed them he would did just as she had done. It was the only thing that kept him alive, thought of making them pay.
