Kagome sat up from her bed. Gasping for air. She had remembered the last time she had seen this dream.

-She was sitting in the hospital in a very big chair asleep hoping her father would return from this coma her had com in to.-

 

Kagome's father never woke and she was left with her mother, brother and grandfather to care for.

 

Kagome wiped her self off with her sheets, and looked at the clock.

It of course just happened to be 6:30. She was lucky somewhat because she didn't have to wake up to the annoying “Beep, Beep, Beep.” Like other `Children' did.

 

Standing, she walked out of her bedroom to her small walk-in-closet. She searched around for the uniform her mother had gotten starched and ironed.

 

The uniform was quite horrid. It included: a black skirt that went up to you thighs which Kagome hated, a white tux shirt, a black vest that seemed to hug her too `tight', and black tie up `schoolgirl' shoes.

 

She grabbed it down and grabbed her tights and further undergarments and walked into the bathroom.

 

She got a shower loving the feel of the steamy hot water that battered her skin.

 

She stepped out of the bathroom after several minutes of trying to put on tights in an enclosed area and gave up and walked out in her uniform. Without tights. She sat on her bed and put them on easily.

 

She frowned and looked in the mirror yelping and hurriedly glancing at the clock. It was already 7:00 She hurriedly ran a comb and then a brush threw her coal black hair that was black then normal from being wet. And rushed out the door.

 

When she got down stairs her mother sitting down in the kitchen said “Hello dear, how are you feeling this morning?” Kagome smiled and said “fine mother, how are you? And do you know where I put the directions?”

 

Her mother smiled and said “Good and on the counter with the money for lunch.” And shooed her off.

Kagome after searching for several seconds found the darn things and headed out the door.

 

On the way from her shrine to her new school she bumped into several people that she knew from a past school, or she was about to meet.

 

One girl who she met stuck with her. She told Kagome that her name was “Sango, Sango Hirkotusu. What school are you going too?”

 

when Kagome told her “Mitsukai High” Sango said she was too.

 

Kagome walked with Sango all the way there talking about random things. When the discussion turned to how she got into the school Kagome said

 

“We just moved from Kyoto, and my mom put me here” Sango nodded and smiled.

 

They walked inside the large modern building and was bustled, pushed, and then finally slammed into people back and fourth.

 

Kagome walked with Sango the whole time until they got to there lockers. Kagome had gotten her schedule from her mother and had no use to going to an principles office.

 

Sango looked over Kagome's and hers schedule and stopped grinning.

 

“We both have the same classes” Kagome was relieved she didn't have to go thru her first day without someone to help her.

 

“So what is out first class?” Kagome asked Sango almost yelling over the talk.

 

“Hmm, it's gym” Sango answered.

 

The girls walked into a large court that seemed to be capable of holding not only a lot of people but a lot of sports too.

 

“Wow this is huge” Kagome said in awe.

 

Sango smiled and said “Yeah it's really cool because the school sells tickets to the games we have here and it allows the students to get better proms, equipment, and other cool things like that.”

 

Kagome smiled at this and she and Sango walked into the girl's bathroom. There was already a few girls there so Kagome grabbed her stuff and went into a bathroom stall to change.

 

When she cam out she grimaced. She wore a black tank top and short black shorts.

 

She and sango pulling their hair up walked out side and laced their shoes.

 

The coach called out the boys and the girls to come out and sit in the bleachers while she gave a short lecture for not only the new students but to `refresh' the memories of the older students.

 

“ Alright students we will be running today and after that we shall find the importance of keeping yourself hydrated.”

 

The kids began to file out side and run around the large but repetitive track that was there.

 

“I want to see 4 laps. GO!” and the students began to scurry off.

 

Kagome who kept in level with Sango watched as two boys ran up to them.

 

One had long flowing silver hair and amber eyes, the other had short black hair and brown eyes.

 

The black haired one said “Hello my dear Sango” in a cheerful voice.

 

Sango frowned and said “Hey Miroku, this is Kagome, Kagome watch out he is a pervert” Kagome who smiled at him twitched has his hand wondered to her butt.

 

She slapped him with such force that he flew back backwards and was stopped from running.

 

The boy with silver hair stared at her as sango introduced him “Inuyasha this is Kagome. Kagome this is Inuyasha.”

 

Smiling at him, Kagome said “Hello!” he frowned and said “You look somewhat like Kikyou”

 

Kagome stopped running and said in a very dark voice “Never ever tell me I look like Kikyo I hate her.”

 

And ran faster then the other two and finished her two laps.

 

“What I say?” Inuyasha asked Sango. She shrugged and ran ahead to her new friend.
