Chapter 1
This is my first fanfic and it is mostly about Sesshomaru and his past. It kinda jumps around in time a bit. Enjoy!
"He's sweet, isn't he?" cooed Moriko.
"He'll grow soon."
"If only the process wasn't so fast."
Inu-Taishou watched his mate suckle the child. They had named him Sesshomaru. He would soon have to take over his position as Tai-youkai.
"You could have chosen a better name, you know." she said, "Sesshomaru. It means 'destruction of the circle of life'. Literally."
"I know. He should have a powerful name, one that makes people fear him."
Sesshomaru fell asleep in Moriko's arms. The crescent moon on his forehead was getting darker by the day.
Inu-Taishou looked a him, curled up in the sheets, his fluffy hair spread out across the bed.
"Sesshomaru..." The name sounded good, "You are to become a Tai-Youkai."
I was foolish saying this to a baby. He turned in his sleep. That was all. Inu-Taishou looked at him. The new Tai-Youkai.
