Summary: Inu yasha and co were in a battle and kagome get injured and turns into a neko-hanyou. Is there something kagome's mother hiding?

Prologue

The sky was covered in a black blanket with star twinkling brightly in the sky. ::crackle crackle was heard from the campfire and light snores were heard from the slumbering companions; all but one pair of amber eye couldn't sleep his eyes glued to the raven hair beauty below the tree he sat as his silver mane flowed with the oncoming wind.

~Inu Yasha P.O.V~

I sat in this tree as I watch her sleep I lean in slightly on the branch. why do I feel the need to protect you with my life…what is this feeling, its strong; stronger then the time when me and kikyou were together…d…do I...I love you…no of course not! She's a mere weak human I love kikyou always have and always will, well maybe she can sense the Shikon No Tama I look up to the sky…she the girl from the future 500 years to the future the era that smells…she has a grandfather, mother, and a younger brother. I don't visit too much and when I do her grandfather always throwing ofa's (sp?) at me which I cut through with ease. Her younger brother souta is always dragging off to that picture box thing…I think she called it a Tea-V and hands me a con-troll-er yeah that's it nothing to interesting I could beat those men in the tea-v but I won't fit okay that's enough about souta now his mother I like her she reminds me of my own mother…but I would never tell her I liked her and last but not least her daughter…kagome, kagome she is at least 5'5" long slender body, pale skin, brown eyes….so…so full of life and emotion sigh I looked down at kagome why, why kagome why didn't you just listen to me and stay off the battle field…now you're a hanyou
