As Konye headed out of the healing building, nearly running down Kazuko, and two of the older children.

Konye: Hey, what happened? * when the kids and Kazu got close enough she saw a large ugly bruise on one kids upper torso and a nice shiner, on the other kid he had a split lip and a shiner.* Ok what happened did you two have a fight?

Boys: Yes Ma’am we got into a tussle with each other over who got to try out the single swing in the tree.

Konye: and where was your keeper when this happened?

Boy #1: He was getting us food and drink and some clean clothes to change in to after we ate. Then we both saw the swing from where we were sitting and we raced to it we had got there at the same time so we got in to a fight on who got to go first.

Boy #2: I’m sorry ma’am, we did not mean to get in a fight it is just that we are brothers and youkai brothers at that, fighting is second nature to us.

Konye: ok young men I will heal you, but let me warn you if either of you end up in my infirmary again I wont be happy.

Boys: Yes Ma’am!

Konye: ok you two can go back with the other children now. Hey Kazu have you seen Sesshoumaru?

Kazu: Yeah he is in his office, he was going to send a messenger to find you but I am guessing you were headed that way?

Konye: Yeah I need to make arrangements for the kids to stay here in the western lands.

Kazu: ok good luck, he was in a pissy mood when I left.

Konye: thank you, I got to go before sundown. Oh if you see Inuyasha please tell him not to go see Kagome today ok. He will probably ask why so tell him that it is doctor’s orders that he stay away for the rest of today and tomorrow, to let her heal. If he gives you, lip tell him I will modify those beads of his so that any female of the pack can use them.

Kazu: ok I will tell him and warn him.

I had started on my way again this time reaching the main castle, then using my nose to find Sesshoumaru, ping, and found him in his office talking to his generals.

Sesshoumaru: ok Generals if you encounter the enemy and it has black inky goo with them don’t engage. If you do engage and they have those goo thingies retreat, yeah I said retreat, you don't have the power to defeat them, I only know of one person who can and I am not risking her life just to suit you general.

Konye: Excuse my Lord, I am a warrior and I also the only one, who has that power. However, I can endow swords with the power but that will take days to do. I have the knowledge to make the sword and lay the spells on them but I just cant handle the capacity your talking about, ok here is a question how many companies do you have?

Gen. Kekoa: I have three battalions each with varying companies. The third battalion has the most number of men so I think you should spell their swords.

Konye: Ok now that I think about it, I don't think you could ever get close enough with a sword, so how about I spell arrows for you instead, they would be even easier, I want ten expert archers on the training grounds in one hour I will train them on the use of the new arrows. Tell me where is your quartermaster?

Gen Kekoa: he lives out by the training grounds.

Konye: ok thank you, now Sesshoumaru I have a few questions for you.

Sesshoumaru: Thank you for your time General you are dismissed. Now Lady Konye you have things you wish to discuss with me.

Konye: Yes, I do Sesshoumaru; first off may I please use a shortened name in private?

Sesshoumaru: Yes, you may call me Sess, and this is just between you and me you could call me Fluffy.

Konye: No, I think Sess is just fine. Next, I would like to utilize the building what I have Kagome and Ari in now as an Infirmary and a house for me. I would like permission to build on the outskirts of the castle near the infirmary as a shelter for the kids rescued this morning. In other words, I would like to organize with you to set up refugee camps.

Sess: That would be a good idea so I give you permission to erect a shelter for the kids. Maybe you can keep them in one spot long enough to get their names and race, because I have had a little cat girl that likes to play with my mokomoko-sama. She says her name is kitty cat but I think her name is something else, and my Baka brother has twins on his tail wanting to play with his ears, I think they are human.

Konye: ok Sess I get your point, since they are orphans I would like to recruit both young women and most likely widows who have had kids before to run the place when I am not there.

Sess: that is possible, should you need any help the guards will gladly do anything for you and how are your patients.

Konye: they are fine but I am worried that after Kagome heals completely she will limp the rest of her days I will do every thing in my power so that does not happen. I thank you and I ask that if you should see your brother try to keep him away from the infirmary for at least two days, now if you excuse me I have patients to attend to.

She headed out of Sesshoumaru’s office and headed back to the infirmary, along the way she came across Shippo and Rin she gave them instructions to bring the kids to the courtyard for a special performance.

Rin: Yes Rin can do that; Rin will do any thing that the Lady asks.

Konye: Thank you Rin but you don't have to do every thing I ask.

Rin: Rin is happy to be doing something.* Rin smiled showing off a gap tooth grin, her hanyou blood should take over and the tooth be grown back tomorrow.*

Come on Shippo lets do what she said.

Shippo: ok, just a minute Rin. Miss K I have a question for you?

Konye: your moms doing fine she should be up with in the next day or two. Right now, she is healing and I hope to have her back up and playing with you soon ok. You had better get going.

Shippo: yes ma’am

After Shippo and Rin, ran off to gather the kids, I quickly ducked back in to the building to get my writing stuff, she had a feeling she was going to need more than this one refugee camp and more paper. I set up my traveler’s magic table, and set some natural looking powder in places with a fire focus under each pile, the powders produced more smoke than sound and that is what she wanted. Soon she could hear the kids coming. She used a spell to conceal her sent and herself. She came to stand between two piles of powders. She Thought talked to Rin to tell the kids to take a seat and that the show will begin. then when the kids were settled she let a burst of fire in to the fire focuses under the powders and shed her illusion, that earning her whispers, now kids lets begin the show who wants to see a flower bloom from nothing.

The kids yelled yeah, yeah.

Konye: ok kids watch my hand, * she concentrated and formed a picture of a rose a red rose with thorns* ~ she could tell by the reaction of the kids that it worked, and opening her eyes she saw all the kids fixated on her hand. Come on kids one at a time you can touch it.

Charlie: You can’t touch it; it is just an illusion to make us believe her.

Konye: Who says it is an illusion, are you an illusion master young man?

Charlie: No ma’am but I am proficient at illusions I am a Kitsune demon.

Konye: Very right you are. It is not an illusion but a real illusion come up here and touch it.

Charlie got up, goes to where K is standing and reaches out, touches the rose, gets bit by the thorns, and is bleeding a little.

Konye: You see young man I am not just an illusionist I have something called earth magic that allows me to make real illusions.

Sesshoumaru: Konye! One of the villages is being attacked can you get there and try to save them or at least keep them there until my men get there. Sorry kids but she has to go/

Kids: Aww.

Konye: lord Sesshoumaru do you think you can keep and eye on the kids for me and my patients here is a speaker spell we will be able to communicate that way and if I have any casualties I will need you to get the children out of here and fast. Do you think you can handle seven kids Sesshoumaru? if not tell them a story, you see that globe there on my stand put a hand on it and then the kids will be able to see the story you are telling ok just have hope, and if it just gets to much remember that Miroku is in the infirmary looking after my patients.

Sess: you need to get going.

Konye: Right! * * may the wind be at my side and give me flight, may the earth be at my call to grant me power, may the fire grant me courage, and the water give me hope.* ~ with that prayer and chant, the air granted her Wings to fly lovely gold wings.~

Kazu: * looked up from his drawing to spot a lovely creature with gold wings* Wow

Just after Konye took off you could see Sango rise up on a transformed Kirara with her weapon and Konye’s. Then Sess got the kids attention by starting the story, he got about half way through the story of the shikon no tama, when he heard a scream coming from inside the building behind him.

~ Inside the infirmary~

Ari felt like she was swimming through cob webs, fighting for consciousness in a realm of darkness. Then she felt a caress on her back then go lower and lower until it rested on her butt. That brought her out of that dark state and screamed, she slapped Miroku and just for good measure, she knocked him unconscious with pressure point that put him to sleep. Then Sess ran in and asked what happened.

Sess: what has happened? Ari are you ok?

Ari: Oh, I am fine my head feels all cobwebby and stuffy, I woke up to that lecher with his hand on my butt and I slapped him. In addition, I am not sorry I did it he should have known better; he had the audacity to touch a sleeping woman.

Sess: You are right he had no right to touch you like that. Can you move we need to get him on the bed.

Ari: your right, I think I can cleanse his scratch marks you need to tend to the kits outside. ^_^

~battle ground~

Konye made her way east to where the village was under siege, it looked much like it had last time desecrated homes and dead bodies every where a rough count of bodies told me that the villagers fought back, a percent of dead soldiers to villagers were equal. Sent out my Air magic to find survivors. This time there were women and older children, and the sick, looks like they gathered in the healers hut, because it was by far the largest hut in the village, a holy person was in control of a barrier on the hut. It seemed like the human soldiers deserted the village in favor of leaving behind the inky creatures. After discerning the situation, she flew back to Sango and the warriors.

Konye: ok General there are no enemy soldiers just those inky creatures, so if you will appoint ten of your men to come with me and I will give them the power.

Gen. Kekoa: What is this power?

Konye: For now, it is a simple process. Just a symbol of light etched on the metal or I can give them the power permanently in a tattoo. However, just for now I will give them a temp tattoo for today.

Sango: Konye can you give me that power in my Hirakotsu I can take them all out at once, once their attention is on me.

Konye: Actually that is a very good idea, instead of doing individual power etchings with this idea I only have to do it twice, once on each end.

Sango: What symbols would you use?

Konye: the north facing crescent and the symbol of Pluto, both mean light and protection endowed by the Goddess.

Sango: do you think it would work. I mean to give you more time to work on the soldiers symbols.

Konye: I am sure that it will work. If it doesn’t I will be right there to save you.

Sango: Ok let’s do it.

Sango and Konye entered the town on foot to take the things by surprise them. They came up behind them and Sango let them have it and it worked I took out the other two that got away.
