Chapter 5: The Sayians

 

 

 

“Do you live under a rock? This girl has gone missing.” Inuyasha replied, leaning against the wall with his eyes closed; concentrating on her scent.

“Really. I am?”

Kaede and Miroku immediately stopped praying and looked up at the girl who was leaning on the window. Kagome jumped up from her spot and rushed over to the girl, who was in her charge. Inuyasha and Sango leaned off the wall and all stared in awe at the girl. Usagi jumped through the window and smiled brightly at them brightly.

“Where did ye go last night child?”

“That way.” She pointed in the opposite direction from where she was. (Was in west pointed east.) “I sat in a clearing and watched the stars. I found it Inuyasha.”

“What?”

“Where I'm from.”

“What do you mean Usagi?”

“I'm not from earth, remember? I'm from the planet called Vegetasia.”

The villagers and Kaede backed away in fear, while some bowed to her. All were begging not to be killed. Usagi looked at Inuyasha with a curious look, everyone but the group, looked at her with fear and respect.

“Why you looking at her like that?”

“Don't ye know what she is?”

“Yeah, she's a sayian.”

“Yes. The most feared beings on this planet.”

“Is she truly a Sayian?”

“Why do ye doubt her word?”

“Her hair is not black nor her eyes. She does not follow the Sayian Code.”

“Could she have broken the curse and become the Legendary Super Sayian?”

“Yeah. Hello! I'm not a S.S. now, but I can be.” Usagi clenched her fist and closed her eyes. The villagers stood back even further. She opened her eyes and smiled.

“I guess you guys are scared of my ancestors.”

Usagi did a Goku by scratching the back of her head. She de-transformed and the villagers ran away to their respective huts out of fear. Usagi sat down hard on the floor.

“Usagi! Have you seen my brother lately?”

“I don't know his name or what he looks like.”

“Hmm. You sure reek of the smell of a demon.”

“Inuyasha! That is extremely rude!” Kagome all but screamed.

“Plus, she hasn't bathed since she got here.”

“Shippo!”

“It's okay Kagome. Where can I get a bath?”

Usagi had been there for about two weeks now. After she had taken a bath, Usagi and the gang sat together on the floor of her hut. She jerked up and stood in the doorway. A few words escaped her lips that no one present understood. She then took off running, not even Inuyasha could catch her. They finally found her; she was in the arms of a man about a foot taller than her. His hair was black and seemed to defy gravity.

“My darling, your clothes.”

“Yes, I know Grandfather, but these are the conditions of Earth.”

“Dear, tell me how you came to Earth and grew so quickly.”

I came back to the past; your present and your future are my past. Understand?”

“Yes my angel. My granddaughter is a greatly beautiful young woman.” Usagi blushed at her Grandfather pulled her chin up to look into her eyes.

“Usanko, why are there two life forms radiating from you?”

“Oh no. Grandfather! Father is going to kill me!!”

He pulled her close to him to comfort the sobbing girl. He looked on perplexed from above.

`The first time we mated was over a week ago; she must have been ready. I'm going to have a child with a perfect Sayian. Wait, why is she so upset over having my child?'

He sat silently in a tee. He watched as her Grandfather carried off his lady and young unborn child. She cried herself to sleep while curled into her Grandfather's embrace. He watched as her Grandfather stayed with her awake and held her sleeping form. He gently laid her down on the futon and stepped outside to speak with Kaede.

“Ye are her Grandfather?”

“Yes. Kaede, are you aware of who the father is?”

“The father of whom?”

“Of Usagi's child.”

“She's pregnant! Dear god she's from the future, this can't happen. How are you going to handle this?”

“Kaede, calm down. Usagi and I can handle this. I'll care for my granddaughter and my great-grandchild. Usagi will know who the father is, I'm positive of it.”

“Yes. Is there anything you'll be needing? Would you like me to show you to your hut?”

“No, I'll be staying here, with Usanko.”

“I'll make a bed for you here then. Your Highness.”

King Vegeta stayed awake all night watching Usagi. He sat by her bed. She occasionally rolled over. He kept watch over her till she awoke. She gently rubbed her eyes and he pushed her hair away from her eyes.

“Grandfather?”

“Usanko, tell me one thing, who is the Father?”

“Shessomaru.”
“The full blooded demon?”

“Yes.”

“Does he know?”

“I haven't told him.”

“You'll tell him today. Shessomaru and I are good friends. He'll be thrilled, you're coming aren't you?”

“Yes sir.”

“Well, first I think we should get you changed into a more fitting dress for Princess of all Sayians. Let's go to the ship.”

They walked a little way into the forest and finally came upon the Sayian ship. They walked inside. Her grandfather picked out a cosmic blue dress and handed it to her.

“This is your mother's favorite dress. I'm sure you'll look ravishing in it. I'll leave to allow you to change.”

Usagi slipped out of her jeans, shirt, and tank top. She picked up the dress and slipped it over her head. She looked herself in the small mirror.

“Are you done?”

“Yes sir.”

“You look like an exact duplicate of your mother in that dress. You're beautiful. Let us go.”

Usagi followed him out of the ship. The sun felt good to her; it was warm. They had walked only a few feet when Shessomaru appeared behind them.

“Usagi. Your Highness.”

“Shessomaru, my friend. I see you already know my granddaughter.”

“Granddaughter? Usa-ko, why didn't you tell me?”

“Because you never told me you knew any other Sayians. So I didn't think I should tell you.” Tears came to her eyes.

“Usa-ko. I'm sorry. Please don't cry. What's wrong with you?”

“Oh Ssomy-kun, just hold me.” She threw herself into his arms.

“Usagi, tell him what we came here to tell him.”

“Ssomy, I'm pregnant. You're the only person I've been with in over a year.”

“I knew you were pregnant. I heard you and your grandfather talking. I want you to stay with me until the baby is born.”

“Of course I will. I ust have to go to the future and tell my father that I'm going to be here for a while. He's probably worried I've been gone for two weeks.”

“I'll wait here for you.”

“Will you come with me to the village?”

“Inuyasha will be there and I am in too good of a mood for him to get me down. Plus, I don't feel like fighting today.”

“I don't want to face him without you, the father of our child, my mate. Please?”

“Come Shessomaru. You have to protect her as your mate.”

“Yes. I'll come for you, my Usa-ko.”

The trio made their may back to the ship as their first stop to let Usagi change back into her jeans and shirt. As soon as they entered the village Inuyasha appeared in front of them. He was growling deeply.

“What are you doing here Shessomaru?”

“I'm here with my mate at her King Vegeta's request.”

“You have no right to be here.”

“I have every right to be here. I am with my mate, who is with my child.”

“WHAT!? You forced yourself upon her you bastard!”

“He did no such thing Inuyasha! Look, I have to go and speak to my father and tell him what's going on and where I'll be for a while. Can you get Kagome for me?”

“Inuyasha! What's going on? Shessomaru!”

“Kagome, how do I get home?”

“Come with me. Inuyasha, no fighting Shessomaru.”

“Shessomaru . . .”

“Don't worry, I won't. I have to be here to protect you so I'll be careful. Come back soon with our child.”

With that Kagome and Usagi jumped through the well and re-appeared at her house. Kagome stopped Usagi.

“By the way, Usagi, it's still the same day. Time passes differently in the past, it goes by faster. Go talk to your Dad, I'll wait for you.”

“Thank you Kagome.” Usagi ran away to her house and into the front door.

“Bulma! Where's my Father?”

“What is it Usagi?”

“Father! I'm pregnant.”

“What! When did that happen?”

“It's complicated, I went into the past and meet this guy named Shessomaru. We mated and I meet Grandfather. He's so awesome Father. He even told me. . . “

“Wait, who did you say you met?”

“Lord Shessomaru. Grandfather knew him!”

“What Father said was true, you did meet him and you do look exactly like your mother. Go back and try to bring him here so that I can meet him. I'd like to approve him for your mate.”

“Alright Father. I'll try and bring him back for you to meet.”
