Bound To Die

"What, what happen? Where's my sword? What are these wounds from? Why can't I move?!"

"Calm down Courtney. After you blasted Koga you fainted because of the power it took to use that attack."

"What are you talking about?"

"The fight with koga the wolf demon."

"Wolf demon, wolf demon? Oh yea Koga. Wait a minute where is he?"

"Dead, you killed him."

"Ok then where is my sword? An why can't I move?"

"Your sword is gone. It lost all power when you attacked. You can't move because you're too wounded."

"Right, are Sango and the other three all right? Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, and the others are fine now. Now you just get some rest, you need it."

"Wait a minute. You're telling me my sword. The sword from the heavens is dead?!"

"Lost all power." Inuyasha told her again.

"Why are I not dead? Wait, Candy, my guardian! No!"

"What's the matter?"

"She's dead Inuyasha! I mean I will never see her again until I die! She saved my life by the cost of hers! No! Candy you stupid bitch! Why did you do that?!"

"I can answer that."

"Sango?" Courtney asked.

"She loves you that's why. She wants you too live a life. She lived hers and she wants you to live yours."

"I don't care. I would of rathered died then never see her again! She's not the only one who sacrificed their freedom for me ether. My great Uncle Louie did too! My great Uncle did too! Damn it!"

"Don't move Courtney!"

"Shut the hell up Miroku! Get out of my way or I'll slit your stomach take out your guts and put them in a bowl. When I'm done you'll wish you were never in my way."

"Fine, I'll move. Just calm down."

Courtney began to run outside of the hut where Inuyasha laid hurt before. She gathered all of her strength to run. She was crying too hard and just accepted the pain from her wounds and the blood loss. She ran to a blank patch of land and sat down to think. "Damn, why did she have to do that? I would of rathered died."

"Well now, what do we have here? A little girl who is about too die."

"Half demon! Sesshomaru do me a favor you stupid full breed. Kill me!" Courtney said in a low but high voice.

"I would gladly. I don't care if you don't fight or if you die painfully. I only care too see you dead!"

Courtney just sat there waiting too die. She couldn't wait, she would be free to see candy her dog/guardian again! A few minutes later, she was dead. Sesshomaru put his poison claws right though her, barely missing her heart. "We have company. An I smell blood and a dead person in Courtney's direction." Inuyasha said in a low voice.

"Do you think she's…?"

"No, I don't Miroku!" Inuyasha yelled.

"Both of you just shut up and lets go!" Sango demanded.

"When Inuyasha, Sango, and the rest of Courtney's friends arrive they will be in the shock of their life!" Sesshomaru said on a cunning voice.

When Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and the cat demon Kilala arrived they did have the shock of their lives.

"How could she be?! That fool!" Inuyasha said very angry and disappointed.

"That's right little brother. She asked me to kill her. Why wouldn't I agree?"

"Sesshomaru, now I desire for you too die even more!" Inuyasha yelled.

When Courtney was up in the heavens, she watched Inuyasha while looking for Candy Moo.

"Where are you?"

"Courtney, why have you been killed?"

"Candy?"

"Answer me!"

"Because I wanted to see you. Why did you kill yourself too see me?"

"Because you should live. Do you wish too be sent back?"

"No! Only if you're my guardian again."

"You would have too give up part of your soul. You would also be unconscious for about twelve hours."

"I don't care as long as you and Uncle Louie are ok! As long as you're my guardian again, I don't care if I'm knocked out for two days!"

"All right, here hold up your hands and I'll send you back."

Courtney held up her hands and was sent back. When Courtney was back she moved a little and Inuyasha ran over too her to protect her body from getting even more beat up because he seen her move. At the cost of it he got a bad wound on his back.

"Courtney, are you alright?"

"Inuyasha, she's dead!" Sesshomaru yelled.

Candy Moo then appeared, the heavens light blinded Sesshomaru.

"Candy? I thought you where dead!?" Inuyasha said in a highly confused way.

"Courtney saved me, by the cost of part of her soul and being unconscious for about twelve hours. Don't worry though, she is alive." Candy said in a calm, and softer, and softer voice while vanishing.

After Candy vanished, Sesshomaru followed while saying, " She will die, and so will my half breed brother. I promise that."

" Twelve hours? That's a long time to be unconscious for."

"Yea Inuyasha it is a long time to be unconscious for but we should be thankful, that she is alive." Shippo said.

"Yes, that is what we all should be thankful for." Inuyasha told everyone and everything surrounding him .Inuyasha went over to Courtney with Kilala, and picked her up and set her on Kilala's back for then they could take her back to the hut. When they arrived at the hut, Inuyasha and Kilala set her down for then Sango could take care of her wounds. When Courtney awoke she asked to talk to Inuyasha. When Inuyasha walked in she was a little surprised and then started to talk.

"Inuyasha, is Candy Moo all right?"

"Yes Courtney, she is fine."

"Inuyasha, why are you looking at me like that?" Inuyasha went over too Courtney and sat next to her and hugged her. He also said "I'm so glad that you're alive."

Courtney just sat there seemed very surprised to hear that from Inuyasha but then thought too herself how SLOW she is! She also thought of something else to her self. "This is the perfect time to tell him. I know it." "Inuyasha there's something I have too tell you."

"What?"

"Well Inuyasha………………?"

"Spit it out! Tell me."

Courtney told herself something "How did I get myself into this?" "Well Inuyasha I, I love you. That's another reason why I came back."

"I told you she was weird Miroku, but I'm still her friend."

"Yes I know Sango, most people don't come out and say "I love you". That's very weird ."

"Oh my, look at this you two!"

"What is it Shippo?"

"Miroku, it's Inuyasha and Courtney."

"What?" Sango and Miroku said at the same time.

"Look, what are they doing?"

Sango quickly covered Shippo's eyes.

"He kissed her?! I can't believe it!" Miroku and Sango said very quietly for Inuyasha and Courtney could not hear them.

"Wow, so that is what they where doing. Cool!"

"Shut up Shippo!" Miroku and Sango yelled, still being very quiet.

"Inuyasha, I'm going to go to rest now."

"That's fine Courtney, that's fine."

Inuyasha then walked out of the hut, and realized that Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kilala were staring straight at him.

"What?!" Inuyasha yelled.

"Wow." Sango, and Shippo said while Miroku just stared at him.

"Where you spying on me and Courtney?!"

"Yup, Inuyasha we did, and we seen enough to defiantly drop our jaws."

"You seen everything?! Oh you stupid spies!" Inuyasha yelled, "You will pay you three!"

"Inuyasha, forgive us!"

"NEVER!"

"My goodness, those three I new someone was spying on us. Oh well now there's just one thing too say! "Shut the hell up you four! I want to sleep! Sango, Miroku, and you too Shippo! You will pay once I get my strength back you retarded spies!"
