The separation, and the desire to die

"What the, what happen? Why am I not dead?"

"Kikyo…"Inuyasha started to say.

"Oh yea Kikyo, she pinned me to that tree like she did to you 50 years ago. How am I off that tree? I should be stuck there. I know for a fact that none of you could of done it. Candy couldn't ether."

"Damn Courtney's smart. She might just figure it out." Inuyasha said to himself.

Everyone turned around to think a moment.

"Good there not looking, now's my chance to get out of here."

Courtney got up, and ran as fast as she could but still be as quiet as she could. When they turned around they all said, "Now where did she go?"

"Damn it, I know Inuyasha still loves Kikyo and I must do the right thing for him because he'll never admit it to my face because he doesn't have the guts. I must leave him. I must go kill Naraku once I recover and then kill Satin, for then I can become the guardian of the hells and make sure Naraku is never released."

"I wonder where she went off to? I'll go find her, you guys stay here. I also will look for Shippo."

"All right Inuyasha."

"I have his scent. Inuyasha is coming closer. Good, now I can tell him that where though, and he is free to be with Kikyo."

"Courtney, why did you run off?"

"Inuyasha, Go back and never come looking for me again. There is no need."

"What?"

"Inuyasha, were though. Don't come near me anymore. You are free to be with Kikyo now. Also I know it was your brother who saved me."

"What you going with him?"

"No, I am with know one and never will be. Love is sadness waiting to happen in even the happiest of relationships. I'm more of an independent person. I don't belong in a group of people. I'm a half demon who doesn't trust any one. Not even you."

"What? What did I do?"

"You did nothing wrong. I have my own mission to carry out now. It's way out of your league."

"Tell me, what is the mission?"

"Inuyasha it's none of your business what my mission is. You still don't get it though do you?"

"What?"

"Wow you are a slow one. Inuyasha were done. We'll never see each other again. Tell Sango, and Miroku I said bye ok."

"What do you mean were done? Why are you leaving?"

"Read my damn lips Inuyasha were done. I'm leaving and never coming back ok."

"But…"

"But nothing Inuyasha. If you tell the truth by saying you love me, then you will leave me alone. I must go now."

Courtney turned around and walked away. Inuyasha just looked at her with sad eyes.

"I guess that part in the Creed song is true. "Sad eyes follow me!" This is just for the better. I must go find Shippo, I just know something is wrong."

When Inuyasha got back to the place where Sango, Miroku, and he was staying they asked where Courtney was?

"Courtney just wanted me to tell you good bye."

"Why Inuyasha? What happen?" Sango asked him.

"Courtney says that she has her own mission to carry out and that she trusts no one. Not even us. She also said she wants to be on her own."

"I wonder why? Inuyasha what did you say to her?"

"Are you saying this is my fault! I remember our conversation, I'll just tell you everything that happen from the beginning when I found her. I said "Courtney, why did you run off?" She said "Inuyasha, Go back and never come looking for me again. There is no need."

Away from this cruel world that blames everything on the half demon. The creatures that are also first to be blamed."
