The Duel To The Death

"You and satin can rot in hell together, you know that. You will pay for killing Shippo. He's the only one who truly understands me. At least he's alive now."

"What do you mean by he's "At least he's alive now?" I don't understand?"

"I cave part of my soul to him. I would never let him die, I already told you that."

"You would sacrifice your own life for him?"

"Of course I would but you wouldn't understand that now would you."

Naraku just chuckled.

"How about we start this battle."

"Fine by me Naraku fine by me."

Naraku surround the area of land Courtney and he was on with a shield of miasma.

"Nice, really cute Naraku, I guess no one can interfere with this fight now can they. Not even Kagura."

"Correct, not even my incarnations can interfere."

"Good let the battle, BEGIN!" Courtney yelled.

Then Courtney drew her sword and lunged at Naraku. Naraku jumped releasing more miasmas in the air making it hard for Courtney to breath.

"Inuyasha do you see that? It's a miasma shield. Only one person could release a shield like that one."

"I know Miroku, Naraku is the only one. Lets go check it out. We may be able to stop this reformation of his."

"Naraku die!" Courtney cut Naraku's back that is tainted in his blood.

"Courtney is it me or are you getting weaker because of the miasmas I created?"

"It's just you."

Naraku then turned his arm into a sharp looking tree root, and ran it right through Courtney's back. Courtney then screamed in pain.

"Damn you!"

Naraku then pulled the root like figure out of here back that was covered in her blood. Courtney then fell to the ground.

"Damn you to hell Naraku." Courtney said breathing heavily.

"To bad you're still alive. What do I have to do to kill you?"

"A lot more then that, I promise." Courtney picked up here sword once again and lunged at him cutting his side while at the same time he knocked her sword out of her hands.

"Looks like your sword went, bye, bye!"

Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo walked onto the scene and realized it was Courtney he was fighting. At first sight they had seen her sword still flying out of the miasma shield for then she had no way of reaching it.

"Nicely done Naraku. Now I hope you know it's going to be much easier for me to kill you know right." Courtney said in a much lower voice.

"I do know that and also all you will do now is fight until you die because your demon blood has finally taken over your body. So if I go to hell you're coming with me."

Courtney then just smiled and laughed. " Your pathetic. Do you think any mortal or demon or even a half demon can kill me? Not even you can defeat me at my strongest."

Inuyasha and the others that were outside the miasma shield just stared and it finally hit them about what Naraku said.

"Her life is over. Her soul is fully devoured. I don't believe this. How dare she challenge him alone!"

"Stop your bickering. You will be the next to die. Along with the other two mortals, and the other two demons can be sent to hell with you. That's how nice I am."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Oh yes I would."

"Naraku, now you can die, and following you with be these other idiots that challenge my strength."

"That wouldn't make me any happier if I was going to be the one to die."

"Sorry to bust your bubble but I'm killing you before them. You want to know something Naraku. I can kill you in one blast, and I will."

"I don't think so. You are too weak to have the kind of power."

"I guess I will have to spear a few people, then won't I."

Courtney said looking at Inuyasha. "Naraku prepare to die. Demonic Power come forth, and kill this filthy vermin! Now!"

"She's going to kill herself at the same time. She's going to spear people that still lie in her memory."

"What, I don't get it Inuyasha how can she have memory of us?"

"I don't know, but if we want to live I guess we better lay on the ground now."

Inuyasha, and everyone else besides for Courtney and Naraku laid down on the ground to avoid the attack. Finally a blast of light covered the area and Naraku and Courtney disappeared leavening Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo alone.
