"Courtney wait up!"

"Inuyasha why do you follow me?"

"Because I'm worried about you, and I love you."

"Inuyasha you don't know what it means to me to hear you say that."

"What did I just say to him?" Courtney then said to herself.

Inuyasha just looked at her and walked up to her. "Courtney it's true I love you. I might like Kikyo but I love you."

"Inuyasha, I love you too. But I don't know if I can love you. I have been hurt to many times. I don't know if I can be hurt again."

"What do you mean again?"

"I had a best friend when I was really little. His name was AJ. That is short for Alexander James. He was the only one who truly understood me. Naraku found out that I was friends with him and killed him because he thought he distracted me. AJ was the only one who understood, and didn't care that I was a hanyou. Naraku enslaved me, and that's why he also killed AJ because he thought that he was distracting me from my work. I was still really little when I ran away that's why I don't trust anyone. All I remember is truly being alone."

"Wow, what happen to your parents."

"One thing first, I had no father he was just stupid and kidnapped me but my mother got me back. Two my mother died because of a demon. Along with my other family." Courtney told Inuyasha beginning to walk away looking up into the moonlight.

"Courtney, are you all right?" Inuyasha asked walking up to her and then embracing her in his arms.

"Inuyasha I'm fine. It just hurts to look back at those memories."

"I promise you Courtney, I won't hurt you."

"Inuyasha, I trust you now. Just don't betray me. Then I will always trust you."

Courtney and Inuyasha's lips met while he was still embracing her. Courtney's eyes then open a little and she realized what she was doing. She backed away from Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, someone is near. Someone or something is being attacked by a demon. Let's go check it out."

"All right, let's go."

Courtney and Inuyasha then ran toward the scream they heard. When they arrived they realized that a black haired human girl that looked like Kikyo was being chased by a fox demon.

"Shippo would you cut it out. Your going to give the girl a heart a tack."

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to give her back this ID card she dropped Courtney."

"That's ok Shippo, you should of told her that."

"I did but I don't think she heard me with all of her screaming."

" Shippo let me see that ID. Ok so her name is Kagome. Hey Kagome, Shippo just wanted to return your ID. Where did she go?"

Courtney saw Kagome by Inuyasha touching his dog-ears while he was trying to back away from her.

"Kagome, your ID. Shippo just wanted to give it back to you." Courtney said with an anode look on her face.

"Oh so that thing has a name." Kagome said backing away from Inuyasha walking towards Courtney to retrieve her ID tag.

"That thing is a demon, and his name is Shippo! You are not getting this ID tag back until you say sorry to him."

"What are you, his defender?"

"Madder a fact I am. I will defend Shippo with my life. Stupid human." Courtney yelled to her with a threatening look on her face.

Inuyasha then walked up to Courtney.

"Just say sorry before she kills you."

"She would kill me?"

"Damn right I would, you have to the count of three before I pull out my claws and slit your throat."

"Sorry Shippo! I'm really sorry."

"Better, here is your ID tag back. So are you lost or something?"

"No my family was killed by a demon. I believe his name was Naraku."

"Well now Inuyasha look at this. Naraku is already attacking more villages."

"Your right Courtney. Kagome you are welcome to come back to the village with us, and you can stay there with old lady kieada."

"If she lives that long." Courtney said to herself " Inuyasha can I talk to you a moment."

"Sure, Shippo watch Kagome."

"Inuyasha I don't trust this girl. I sense vengeance in her. Like she is going to go after the wrong person."

"Are you saying she's going to try and kill us?"

"Yes Inuyasha…" I vibe then struck Courtney.

"Are you all right Courtney?"

"She's being controlled. She's going to kill!"

"Inuyasha, Courtney help me!"

"Inuyasha that was Shippo!"

"Kagome what are you doing? That look in her eyes, Shippo get out of here! Go with Inuyasha, have something to settle with this girl."

"All right be careful!"

"Thank you Kagome you saved me the time looking for my sword. Now it's time for you to die for trying to kill Shippo, and for hitting on my boyfriend!"

"Oh so that cutie Inuyasha is your boyfriend? How did he get screwed with you."

"Now you are really making me mad. It's time for you to go meet your family! Sword Flames!"

Courtney's sword then lit up in flames and Kagome disappeared.

"Where did she go?"

"Back to heaven with her family Inuyasha, back to the heaven." Courtney then looked up at the starry sky while Shippo jumped on her shoulder and Inuyasha put his arm around her saying that he will always be true to her, Courtney Lee Silsby.

"Inuyasha, and I will always be true to you."
