The disappearance of Inuyasha

"Inuyasha the only reason I didn't trust you, and the others is because I grew of with a life of hatred. I didn't trust anyone because I was always on my own, not knowing who was and enemy or who was a friend. As I told you before I had no family, they were killed or just didn't care about what happen to me. That's when Naraku took me in and then made me work day and night. If I tried to say know or run away I would have been killed. I then meet AJ and then some happiness came to my life. Then Naraku killed AJ because if I was happy I was not cleaning or helping out enough. So then I gathered enough courage to run away. I didn't really care if I lived or died then. Naraku killed my friend and tries to kill all of you because he finds enjoyment in my pain. He loves to see me unhappy and angry. When I ran away he also put this curse on me."

"The curse you were talking about earlier?"

"Yes Inuyasha that curse. I have only been cursed once that I know of. You and the others must be extremely careful around me because if Naraku finds me with you, and the others all the time he will be able to kill you easier. That's why I don't go into groups. If I do he will kill the people I hang around with."

"So that's why you don't want to come in our group or be near us."

"Inuyasha I want to be near all of you but I can't. Just like I said before he will capture and kill you all if I did stay with you, and the others all the time."

"I heard you before Courtney. We can defend our selves. Naraku is not all that strong. I have fought him before to you know."

"Inuyasha, I have known him longer. You don't known most of his tricks like I do. He likes to sneak up on you and capture his pray and then kill. After he has killed, he will just smile and laugh. Trust me I do not lie. He made sure I watched AJ's death."

"Now that is sad, I'm sorry that you had to watch that when you were so young Courtney."

"Inuyasha you wanted to know why I didn't trust you, and the others before, well that is why. Watching my friend die when I was little. My friend that was a mortal, and didn't even care who I was or what I was. He was my friend because he wanted to be. He was the one who was going to help me understand myself. Then Naraku had to kill him. I lead him to his own death. It was my fault that he died. If it weren't for me he would still be alive right now, in the land of the living, not the dead."

"It wasn't your fault Courtney. You stayed AJ's friend because he understood you, and didn't care who you were. You also wanted help from someone to understand yourself."

"Inuyasha, this is what I mean. Now that I explained AJ's death to myself, this is another reason why I didn't want to stay with you guys. I don't want all of you to die because of me. I don't want to see more of my friends die because of me, and what I did in the past that Naraku will always hold against me."

"Courtney, like I said before, it's wasn't your fault."

"Inuyasha will you shut up! Didn't you just hear everything I said? One of my friends died already because of me. You need to be with Kikyo, and the others have to forget they ever new me." Courtney yelled loud enough for Sango, Miroku, and Shippo to run onto their conversation, and join in.

"Courtney we will never forget that you were friends with us, we can't." Shippo told her looking straight into her sad and angry eyes.

"Shippo… I will have Inuyasha explain to you what happen to me in my past. I have to go for a walk before I go crazy, and kill someone besides for Naraku, and his incarnations."

"Ok Court, start explaining Inuyasha we want to know what happen to Courtney in her past as well. Courtney be care full."

"Thanks Shippo but there's know need to worry, I will be fine."

Courtney then started towards the moonlit part of the forest. Then she stopped and looked behind her making sure Inuyasha, and the others were out of sight. Then she looked up at the moon remembering AJ and what he said to her when she was little. "Courtney we are alike in ways and different in others. I know we will be friends forever, even when we are dead. Maybe we will even be together for the rest of our life." (Back in present time) "AJ I wonder if we would of stayed together? Would we have just stayed friends or have gotten married? Oh boy now hearing the word marriage is making me sick. I better stop talking to myself right now before I…….." A vision just ran though Courtney's mind. "I must go back, he's in trouble I can't lose another friend because of Naraku! I won't!" Courtney then began to run back away from the moonlight. "Inuyasha? Inuyasha?! Damn it please don't let my vision be true. God please don't let it be true. Sango were is Inuyasha?"

"I don't know, all we did was turn our heads and without a sound he was gone."

"God please don't let this be true! Naraku is going to kill him! Please god, please!" Courtney yelled to the night sky starting to cry.

"Are you all right Courtney?" Sango asked.

"No, Naraku is going to pay for this. He is going to try, and kill Inuyasha just like he killed AJ. I hope it's just not to late when I get there." Courtney said very madly making a fist, and pulling her hand back looking like she is about to punch someone or something. "Courtney what do you mean by I hope it's not to late when I get there?"

"Sango I mean I hope he is not already dead. Naraku knows that I would kill him before he could even come close to killing any of you. So he will probably kill him, and leave his body there." Courtney said in a teary voice but still with an angry look on her face.

"Courtney, we are coming with you." Sango, Miroku, and Shippo said.

"No you are not! You will not die as well! I can't risk it! There's no way you're coming! I won't allow it at all you follow me then I will have to trap you all until this mission is over." Courtney yelled at them being very demanding. "What is this mission?" Miroku asked Courtney.

"This mission is to get Inuyasha back alive, and kill Naraku. The main thing though is Inuyasha. If he is dead when I get there, Naraku will die! I will not stop that battle until he is dead. I don't care if I'm almost dead and he still has a bit more life in him then me. I don't care I will avenge Inuyasha's and AJ's death. I'm not saying Inuyasha is going to be dead but I will kill Naraku and get Inuyasha back alive. I mean no matter what, Inuyasha will be back alive."
