Chapter Two: Her Name is.
She was sitting on a bench outside, where she had grown herself a garden. She had used her power over water to make the plants grow extremely fast. She ws silently looking over her flowers, which would all be dead because of the evilness of the castle, but she kept them safe. A disturbence in the air alerted her to the presence of Kagura, the wind demoness. The air stired at Kagura's approach. She already knew why Kagura sought her out. She knew what Kagura came to talk about because she had the ablility to read minds. She also knew Kagura was coming because of her aura. The hatered in the air got so thick it was hard for her to breath. Kagura had come to ask her for help.
' I don't know if I should. I have been trained to kill, if you call being created to kill, learning that skill ( haha, I made a funny). I was created for one purpose and that is the destruction of anything that is to powerful for Naraku to kill. I am created to obey, but what Naraku failed to realize is that with my heart still beating in my chest, I have full control over what I do or say, over what my emotions are. I choose to do whatever it is I wish to do. But I cannot deny my urge to kill.' she thought as Kagura aproached her and said.
" I need to talk to you. It is important." Kagura said looking over her shoulder.
The final creation was still seating on her bench, her back facing Kagura.
" He is no where near here Kagura, and yes sister I know you want to speak with me and I know what about also."
" How?"
" I am not at liberty to discuss that sister dear."
" Don't get cocky, I am older then you and you are to respect your elders."
" I was made to destroy, I am stronger then you, Kanna, and Naraku put together. I am stronger then any creation made. The only rival I know of that could actually surpass me would probably be Lord Sesshoumaru, Lord of the Western Lands." she said in an icy tone.
" Well then, tell me what your answer is then, if you know what I am going to say."
" My answer is this: He has done me no harm, therefor I will do no harm to him. Unless I have good reason to I will stay out of whatever it is you are in."
" You bitch, why can't you help your sister? I am just like you, I was created."
" I can help you but I choose not to at this moment in time. You are NOT just like me but you were created and thank you for your compliment but flattery won't get you anywhere with me."
" Fine, but I will say this once and only once. He will turn his back on you, he will hurt you and he will find a way to use you."
" Are you stupid Kagura. I was made to be used idiot. It does not bother me for that to be said." she said out loud but inside she was screaming ' WHY ME?!'
' This is not fair. I want to be free. I mean in a way I am but I was just created to destroy everything.' she thought saddened.
" Do not call ME, Kagura, stupid or an idiot. I will wait 3 days for your final answer, think long and hard. We are going into the half-breeds village tomorrow."
' Why does she call him a half-breed? He may be that but it is still insulting. How would she like it if someone called her a puppet or just a wind whore. Lets see what she has to think for herself.' she thougth grinning evilly.
She tapped into Kagura's thoughts and almost died laughing. Kagura's thoughts were hilarious. She was worried about if Lord Sesshoumaru would ever come to his senses and ask her to be his mate, and if she would ever be free, and what she would say to the half-breed tomorrow, and wondered how Naraku and Sesshoumaru both kept their hair so beautiful.
' Okay.' she thought. ' That is enough. I can't take it anymore.'
" What are you grinning at fool?"
" Oh nothing, I just had a silly thought."
" Which was what?"
" Oh, I was just wondering how Naraku kept his hair the way it is."
Kagura paled slightly and turned and walked off, stiff backed and didn't look back. The creation finally had peace and quiet again until she felt the familar aura of her creator. Naraku was on his way. Naraku arrived and sat down beside her. He told her that she is to just talk with Inuyasha tomorrow. No matter what Kagura says. He said that he wants her to gain their trust by doing whatever she must.He then says that he will tell her what her name means and she is to stick by it.
" Your name, my dear, means: truth; faith; fidelity; sincerity; trust; confidence; reliance; devotion; reality; genuineness. Now when I say I want you to stick by it I mean me. I want you to lie, cheat, steal, kill and just be evil to them."
" Master Naraku, I don't know if I can do that. I know I am evil and I am to obey you at all costs but I don't know if I can gain their trust, I think they would be able to feel my true intent."
" Well the true test is tomorrow. Go rest, little one, you need it. Go tomorrow and make me proud of you and happy." he said as he watched her stand and start to leave.
" Oh, and by the way. I want you to read their minds. I know you can do it. I want to know what they are thinking. Do this for me and I will do you one favor and I mean only ONE favor."
" May I ask you one question before I go, Master Naraku?"
" You may, but I might not answer you."
" What is my name?" she asked cocking her head to the side. Her long beautiful hair falling over her shoulder.
" Why child, Its Makoto."
Makoto.... Makoto..... Makoto... rang through her head as she left for her room.
She reached her room in a matter of seconds using her demon speed. She opened her door and got dressed for bed. She then started pacing her room wondering how she would be able to befriend the Inuyasha gang. Maybe she could just tell them that she wanted out of Naraku's grasp. Which if she told the truth was absolutely true. He kept her inside the castle walls at all times. She was not allowed outside the walls because he said that she was his secret weapon for now. She would be able to go outside the walls tomorrow or the next day because her and Kagura will be going to the village and talk to the gang. She is to get inside their head and see what they think. This is going to be a stressing experience. What happens if something goes wrong because whenever Kagura is around something is sure to go BOOM!
I know its short but thats all I could come up with tonight. I promsie to make it longer and such tomorrow. I will work on it all day if I have to. Thanks for the reviews. By the way... any reviewers not mentioned her is because I accently deleted this story last night and had to redo it. So if I missed you let me know.
