Chapter Two
The Gang

Ok! So Kagome has it rough. She's stuck raising her little brother, cuase their foster parents don't give a rat's ass about
them. I'm sorry if the language is kinda cold. It only get's worse. I figured I would warn you! Sorry!

BEEP! BEEP!
Kagome smiled shortly, as she stopped in front of her best friend, Sango's house. It was much nicer then Kagome's
and Sota's, house it still looked unhabitable.
After about ten minutes, Sango raced to the truck and jumped in the back seat. She groaned, as she scooted behind
Kagome.
"You ok?" Kagome asked.
Sango nodded and smoothed down her short black skirt and ruffled her tight black tanktop.
Kagome looked in her review mirror and noticed two purple marks on Sango's left arm. This made kagome growled
and speed away from the house.
"Where's Miroku?" Kagome asked, tring to not look at the bruises.
Sango shrugged, "At his house I guess."
Kagome groaned. She couldn't take it anymore.
"What happend?" She growled, catching Sota off gaurd.
Sango lowered her head, as though to divert the attention off of her person.
"Are they beating you again?" Kagome asked egerly.
Sango nodded.
`THOSE BASTERDS!` She thought.

By the time they reached Miroku's house, he was sitting on the steps waiting. He raced to the truck and jumped right in. He
also scooted closer to Sango. This caused Kagome to smile.
"You look spiffy!" Kagome teased.
He wore a pair of baggy black cargo jeans and a black t-shirt with a red collor and sleeves. Miroku laughed sarcastically
at Kagome's joke and smiled at Sango.
"Hello Sango." He greeted.
Sango smiled back at him, but turned away.
"This is my stop." Sota whispered.
Kagome slowly threw the breaks and Sota jumped out of the car and race to class. "Bye." He called.

They dropped Sota off promptly and continued on their way to their High School. Sango reached into her perse and pulled
out a pack of cigaretts. She then put it to her lips and lite it, making sure to take a nice long draw.
"I thought you quite?" Miroku asked from the passanger seat.
Sango shrugged and smirked.
"What can I say...my parents drive me to it." She grunted, as she exhaled.
Kagome giggled very girly as she looked in her mirrior at the girl.
"Want one?" Sango teased.
Kagome sighed and turned the car sharply, causing Sango to end up behind Miroku; since she wasn't wearing a seatbelt.
"I'll take that as a NO." Miroku replied.
