Kagome watched the interaction between the two Brothers, she was surprised by Sesshoumaru’s actions. Thinking it was completely out character for him. Kagome caught Inuyasha’s eyes gazing into her. In a instant he was through her window and standing inches from her.
“Inuyasha I-“ Kagome began.
“Kagome lets not talk about it.” Inuyasha took her by the waist and pulled her closer. He gave her a passionate kiss taking in her sweet scent. Kagome clutched his shoulders tightly surprised at first but soon relaxing in his arms. Inuyasha reluctantly pulled away to ask her permission to mark her. “Kagome we are now married by the way of humans, but I want to mate you by way of youkai.” Kagome blushed when she heard him say mate. “Kagome you probably wouldn’t notice the aura around that woman with Sesshoumaru, but I did. She has been marked with his fangs she took him within herself and now they are connected forever.”
“And you want us to do that.” Kagome asked quietly.
“I will understand if you don’t want to.” Inuyasha said looking down.
“Inuyasha of course I do, I love you for your human side and your demon side. If this is tradition I would be more than willing, as long as we’re together.” Kagome hugged Inuyasha close, he felt his eyes begin to water. Inuyasha was speechless, never having anyone embrace both halves of his blood, the way his mother did. Inuyasha was overjoyed to have Kagome in his life. “Inuyasha I’m ready to be with you, I’ve always wanted to be with you.”

With that Inuyasha lifted Kagome in his arms allowing her to wrap her legs around his waist gently she took her to the bed laying soft kisses on her neck and ear. Satsuki carefully removed the fur on Sesshoumaru’s right shoulder as he ran his fingers through her hair momentarily revealing her blind eye. Slowly he removed the sukura as she removed both tenseiga and tokijin from Sesshoumaru. Satsuki moaned as Sesshoumaru nipped and her neck, circling his tongue around the mark he gave her a month before. Becoming more eager Satsuki pulled off her mates armor and pulled open his hatori. “Miroku-danna you must wake up.” Sango’s voice was ghostly, soon she disappeared as quickly as she appeared.
“Sango wait!” Miroku called out running in Sango’s direction, but she was gone. Her words still echoed in his mind. “I must wake up.” Miroku said softly.

The morning sun gently kissed Kagome awake. She still felt last nights occurrences below her pelvic area. She looked over to see the sleeping Inuyasha. He was so peaceful and looked so innocent. He was passionate about his love for her and regretted keeping his feelings inside for so long. Kagome forgave him though, she didn’t resent him or hate Kikyou. But she was happy he belonged to only her now. Kagome sluggishly got out of bed careful not to disturb her dear husband. She put on her robe and headed for the bathroom. Kagome glanced in the mirror and saw flash of golden eyes looking back at her. She blinked tightly and looked again, this time at her own dark eyes.
“Huh, that was weird.” Kagome said aloud. She began to run herself a bath, but decided she didn’t want Inuyasha to wake up alone. She turned to see two large, amber eyes looking back at her. “Inuyasha!” Kagome thought she felt his presence and smelled his scent but immediately brushed the feelings aside until he was standing right in front of her.
“I woke up and my Okami wasn’t by my side.” Inuyasha clutched her shoulders.
“I’m sorry Koishii, I was drawing a bath.” Kagome chirped. “Do you want to join me.” Inuyasha blushed for a moment then quickly nodded.

Sesshoumaru awoken alone, sniffing the air he realized Satsuki was standing by the entrance of the shrine grounds. Sesshoumaru got dressed and joined his mate. She sensed her sorrow and smelled the salt of her tears.
“Satsuki what is the matter.” Sesshoumaru hadn’t looked out on Tokyo he only looked at Satsuki.
“This country has died.” Satsuki replied gazing out at the fallen Tokyo. Sesshoumaru followed her gaze and saw exactly what she meant. Fires broke out across the city and thousands of slain humans and demons were sprawled all over the streets. All was silent, no screams no sirens, nothing. Sesshoumaru could smell familiar plants he didn’t smell when he first arrived. As he continued surveying the land his noticed trees appearing between buildings more appearing every second.
“Satsuki what is happening.” Sesshoumaru asked perplexed.
“Time’s barrier has been broken.” Satsuki looked up at Sesshoumaru with pained eyes. “Soon more demons will come, entire villages will appear this world and this world of the Warring States will soon become one.

“Kohaku you have failed to protect your comrades.” Kohaku bowed before Toshi, the dead Kikyou besides him. Toshi stood and knelt besides her and placed a hand over her wound. After studying Yagi’s scroll he mastered the technique to raise the dead. He longer had use for the female inu youkai and her kitsune. He was unable to sense their presence and assumed Yagi had put up her most powerful barrier. After reviving the miko he sat back on his throne with Kanna besides him. Kagura huffed as she leaned against a wall.
“Yo, how long are we just going to sit in this castle?” Kagura growled.
“Kagura you and Kohaku go and observe the Higurashi shrine. Give me news of the land and inform me of the moment anyone steps out of the barrier.” Toshi commanded.
“Hmm,” Kagura mumbled before exiting the castle with Kohaku.
“Kikyou, remain within the castle, must fully recover your Miko powers if you want to kill Inuyasha.” Toshi said. Kikyou said nothing she simply walked over the the nearest wall and sat against it, closing her eyes.
Toshi sat back in his throne, contemplating his next move. He didn’t expect one of the descendants of Yasu to be the friend Inuyasha’s mate. Now they were safe inside a barrier so powerful even he could not pierce through it, he would just have to wait it out.
