New Beginning

Disclaimer: *pouting* If I owned Inuyasha, I'd make him real...and gay...and with Koga...but since I don't, I guess I'll just have to be content with making up stories to fit my completely twisted imagination. Enjoy.

Chapter 1: New Year's Resolution

Inuyasha wandered away from the village. He sighed, thinking how hard it had been telling Kagome that he wasn't interested in her...or for that matter, girls at all. For some reason, he was attracted solely to males. He sighed again and sat down at the base of a tree, leaning against it for support. How had his life gotten so screwed up anyway? How was he supposed to know Kagome was in love with him...? He wasn't, that's how. He was so depressed, he didn't even look up as a familiar scent filled the air. He didn't care that Koga, his hated enemy and long time rival, was approaching him. And when the wolf entered the clearing, Inuyasha just closed his eyes so he wouldn't have to see him.

"You win Koga."

"What are you talking about mutt?"

"Kagome is yours."

Koga froze, completely shocked into silence. He stared at the quiet hanyou sitting only a few feet away from him and finally noticed the definate droop to his attitude. "What happened, did she finally ditch you?" he asked in a gloating voice.

"No, I ditched her." Inuyasha still hadn't looked up at Koga and by now, the wolf pack leader was slightly concerned over his new attitude.

"Why'd you do that puppy?"

"Because I don't like her." His voice lacked emotion and his entire aura radiated depression.

"Is there a particular reason why?"

"Because I don't like girls." Inuyasha finally graced Koga with his sad, completely open gaze, gifting him with a look into his heart.

Koga was again stunned into silence, but this time, his jaw dropped as well. Dog boy was...interested in guys. He blinked suddenly, deciding it didn't make sense. "Then why didn't you let me have her?"

"Because I had to keep up my act until Naraku was destroyed. Now that it's over, she doesn't need me anymore. She's yours."

Koga smirked. "No she isn't. The only reason I acted interested in her was to annoy you. I don't like girls either...too weak to defend themselves."

Inuyasha snorted. "Too bad I was never really annoyed." He sighed. "I guess that means we have no reason to fight any longer. And you have no reason to come around, huh?"

"Not necessarily. I could always come around to keep you company."

Inuyasha smirked. "Can't get away from me? Am I too irresistible for you wolfy?"

Koga flushed. "Who said that? I just feel bad for you is all."

Inuyasha closed his eyes again, relaxing once more against the tree, "Whatever you say Koga, whatever you say."

Koga crouched down next to Inuyasha, leaning close to him. "What, you don't believe me puppy?" he pouted, looking adorable.

Inuyasha cracked an eye open staring at the handsome wolf demon in front of him for a moment before suddenly leaning forward and pressing his lips to Koga's. He probbed at the other's lips, wanting access to the hidden secrets he knew he'd find there. Koga moaned softly and parted his lips, welcoming Inuyasha's tongue with heated aggression in a completely submissive way. Inuyasha smirked and pulled back, licking his lips in satisfaction. "Yeah, you could say that."

Koga pouted, missing Inuyasha's hot lips on his. "Well I think you're imagining things. Why would I ever want to hang around here?"

"Oh I don't know Wolfy, maybe because a cute, lonely demon is hanging around as well." Inuyasha smirked as Koga flushed bright red.

"That's wishful thinking pup. You know I despise half-breeds," Koga said cooly, sneering and trying to cover his fevered blush.

Inuyasha pulled back, turning his head away. He stood suddenly, keeping his eyes on the sky in the distance. "Yeah, I know." Inuyasha sighed and took off, racing through the forest to his neglected castle in the east, finally ready to return to the home and lands his father left him. He left Koga standing in the deserted clearing, deeply regreting his harsh words the instant he saw a sparkling of unshed tears in Inuyasha's eyes.

Koga didn't go after him. He instead went to the village to talk to Kagome. He wanted to hear it from her that Inuyasha was really only interested in guys. He wasn't willing to believe him so soon, and he didn't want to face his own emotions and childish fears.

Inuyasha didn't want to stop running. Sure, he had known Koga didn't like him, but to hear his comment, even after the kiss, hurt. He had hoped Koga at least liked him as a friend, but it had apparently been wishful thinking.

When he figured he was far enough away, he slowed to a walk. He didn't feel like running anymore, but he wanted to keep away from Koga.

"Kagome!"

"Koga? What are you doing here?"

"I just thought I'd stop by and see ya."

"Have you seen Inuyasha by any chance?"

"Yeah, we just ran into each other. I want to know if he was telling the truth."

"About what?"

"Liking guys."

"Yeah, why?"

"Damnit," he muttered under his breath.

"Koga, you didn't do anything, did you?"

"Define 'do something.'"

"Koga, how could you?!"

"How was I supposed to know?!"

"You rejected him! I can't believe you! He finally comes out in the open about his feelings, and what do you do? Reject him, that's what! If I could, I'd sit you to the moon and back!"

"I'm sorry Kagome, I thought he was playing around with me. I didn't think he was serious."

"Tell me exactly what you said, and don't leave anything out. I need to know the damage you caused yourself."

"Before or after the kiss?"

"You kissed and still rejected him?!"

"Ummm, yeah?"

Kagome fumed. Koga was such a moron. "After the kiss, Koga."

"Well, we were talking about me sticking around even though we wouldn't really be fighting over you."

"Thank god for that," Kagome muttered, rolling her eyes.

"I told him I'd stick around to keep him company; he thought it was because I liked him. I challenged him then he kissed me."

"So far you hadn't done anything too bad."

"Yet. The I screwed everything up by saying, "You know I despise half-breeds,' and he..."

"KOGA!!!"

"What?!"

"You know he's sensitive about that. The whole reason he trained and worked so hard was to impress you, you dumbass, though why he fell in love with such an insensitive jerk like you is a mystery!"

"In love???"

"Yeah idiot, love. Inu told me he loved you, and that he could't hang around he much longer."

"Love?" Koga was shell-shocked.

"Pay attention!" Kagome yelled, smacking him hard. "Listen up Koga, either you fix this stupid mess you made, or so help me, I will purify your ass in a nanosecond! Got it?!"

"Yeah, got it Kagome."

"Good, and if you hurt him, I'll hunt you down Koga."

"I won't. See ya round Kagome." Koga took off back to the clearing he and Inuyasha had talked in, determined to sniff him out and catch him.

Sesshom aru?! What's he doing here?

Inuyasha had been home for less than half a day when his brother's scent hit him. Having taken the long route to lose Koga or anyone else following him, he had seen Koga roughly a day and a half ago.

Not moving his spot, Inuyasha cooly ignored his older brother.

"Inuyasha, is that anyway to greet your brother?" Sesshomaru said, mocking the half-demon still not looking at him.

Inuyasha shrugged, uncaring. Truthfully, he didn't care if Sesshomaru finally killed him, at least his broken heart would stop.

Sesshomaru observed his brother, taking notice of the droop to his ears, the lack of emotion on his face or expressed towards him, and the deep, heart-broken sadness that haunted his amber eyes, so like his own.

"If you're going to kill me, do it already."

"What's the matter with this picture? Oh yes, you asking for death. I never knew you were so weak as this Inuyasha."

"Just one more reason to kill me. I'm weak so kill me to stop further disgrace to our father. not much to live for anyway."

Emotionless, cold-hearted Sesshomaru was shocked. His brother, who usually started a fight with him the instant they laid eyes on each other, his brother, who's pride never failed, his brother, who's unending courage and heart felt emotions made him respect him, his brother was asking for death.

"Either you do it, or I'll do it myself. I would much rather die by your hands, but one way or the other, I will die."

"Shut up Inuyasha. For once I have no desire to kill you, and until I do, you'll remain alive."

"I'm already dead on the inside Sesshomaru. Why not make it complete? You've never hesitated before, why now?"

"First of all, because I will not be ordered around by a half-breed." Inuyasha flinched back, a reaction not missed by Sesshomaru. "Secondly, because you want to die, therefore there'll be no challenge in killing you. And last, because I want to know why you seek death."

"I've never asked you for anything Sesshomaru! Never! The one thing I want from you, and you refuse it! We both know we'll be fighting one day, why not just fight now, kill me, and get it over with!"

"Because I want to know why."

"Love. Love, okay you heartless bastard! I fell in love and got my heart broken."

"Pathetic."

"So you've said before."

"You didn't even fight for the one you love, did you? You let them walk away. The least you could have done was take your heart back."

"I didn't want to damnit! All I wanted was to be loved! Something I've never had from anyone, to be loved! So yeah, I am a pathetic weakling for wanting to be loved."

"Are you quite finished yet?"

"Asshole."

"Only for you. Now listen, and listen good. Our father risked everything for love, now it's your turn."

"I already have moron. I bared my heart and got it ripped to shreads. So what else is new. Everytime I tried to get you to love me, the same thing happened. I'm surprised I'm not emotionless like you after everything I've been through."

Sesshomaru knocked Inuyasha out before he even knew what had happened. "What an idiot," he murmered to himself, easily carrying his brother to his bedroom and putting him to bed. "Sleep Inuyasha. In the morning we will talk."

Koga stopped in front of the castle. Breathing him, he smelled Inuyasha and Sesshomaru both. Slightly fearing for Inuyasha's safety, Koga made his way in the front door. Moonlight and Inuyasha's scent led him to Inuyasha's room, only to be stopped by Sesshomaru.

"Leave now," the amber-eyed demon commanded softly.

"Ummm, no. I want to see Inuyasha."

"You have no right to show your face here, let alone talk to Inyuasha."

"He loves me, there's my right!"

"You lost that right when you rejected him before. You have no claim to him now."

"That was before, things have changed."

"In under a week," he commented dryly. "Who's to say it won't change again and that you won't break his heart again? If you can change your mind that fast once, you'll do it again."

"I'm not willing to leave without talking to him."

"Then I'll kick you..."

The door behind them, leading to Inuyasha's room, slowly opened, revealing a black head of hair and indigo-violet eyes. Koga gaped while Sesshomaru glared.

"Inuyasha, why didn't you stay put like I told you? I'm taking care of this pest as we speak."

"I wanted to see what was going on."

"Inuyasha..." Koga breathed out in awe.

Eyes widening as he noticed Koga for the first time, Inuyasha darted behind Sesshomaru to hide his tears and sadness.

"Leave now, you've hurt him enough for one lifetime."

"I told you, I'm not leaving until I talk to Inuyasha."

"It's okay Sesshou, I'll talk to him," Inuyasha said, coming out from behind his protector.

"You don't have to. I can get rid of him. You don't have to put yourself in more pain for this, underserving, uncaring, inconsiderate..."

"Sess, I'll talk with him. I want this to be over and done with so I can move on."

Sighing, Sesshomaru nodded. "He tries anything, just yell." He stepped to the side, allowing Koga to pass, throwing a glare that would have killed anyone else. "You hurt him, I kill you."

Inuyasha shut the door behind them, sighing before turing to meet Koga's appraising stare.

"Stop that."

"Stop what?"

"Stop looking at me like that. What do you want Koga? I thought you made your point clear the last time."

"No, I didn't. Give me my heart back."

"Go screw yourself. I don't have it. And I don't want it anymore."

"Give it back if you're not going to give me anything in return."

"You already have my heart Koga. What more do you want from me? My death? What? Tell me so you can leave me alone again."

"I told you," Koga said, moving forward to stand directly in front of Inuyasha. "I want my heart back. I want my love back. I want every smile you got out of me, every laugh you pulled from me, every good memory. I want them all back." Dropping his voice to a low, soft whisper, Koga wiped away the tears that were falling down the black-haired Inuyasha's face. "And if I can't have that, then can i have you? Your heart, your love, your smiles, your laughter, your happy memories. I love you Inuyasha. Can you forgive me for being such an idiot?"

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around Koga's shoulders, burrying his face against Koga's neck and crying his pain out. Koga wrapped his arms securely around his waist, keeping Inuyasha standing. Unfortunately, the door slammed open, showing a livid Sesshomaru, sword drawn and looking ready to kill.

"Inuyasha, move," he commanded, voice deadly calm.

Inuyasha shook his head and held on tighter.

"This bastard rejected you and your love, yet you'd open your arms to him?"

Inuyasha turned his tear-stained face to Sesshomaru. "Yeah, I do. He loves me Sess. You don't have to worry about me anymore."

Glaring pointedly, Sesshomaru turned his gaze to Koga, who had yet to remove his arms from Inuyasha's waist. "You hurt him..."

"You can kill me. Promise. I'm not losing him again."

Sesshomaru sighed and nodded. "Alright, take care of him."

Inuyasha weakly smirked. "Go find yourself the monk. You may be surprised."

Without another word, Sesshomaru was gone, leaving Koga holding Inuyasha tight in his arms.

"I love you Koga," he said, snuggling against him.

"I love you too Inu." Koga picked up the human and set him gently on the bed before joining him. "Be my mate? For life?"

"Always." Inuyasha connected their lips together, initiating their second kiss. This time however, Koga dominated, seeming to understand Inuyasha's want to be submissive.

"Can I make you mine?"

"Thought you'd never ask." Inuyasha pulled Koga on top of him, leaning up for another kiss.

Within moments, Inuyasha's top was off, clothing pooled around his waist. Koga trailed gentle kisses over Inuyasha's face and neck. He nibbled gently, delighted when a moan slipped past his parted, already kiss-swolen lips. Suckling on the pale skin drew mewls from his lover and flicks with his tongue on his ear lobe created squeaks, all the sounds blending to create a song of unbridled passion.

Inuyasha's mind was a jumbled mess of thoughts, most something like, 'Fuck! Do that again,' 'More Koga, please, oh gods more,' or 'I love your tongue and mouth, put it to better use lower.' He whimpered and whined when he felt Koga leave his side, opening his hazy blue-violet eyes in a panic. He gasped as he saw Koga taking off his armor to leave his chest, arms, and legs bare. His eyes roamed over corded muscles covered by bronze skin, glistening slightly in the moonlight. He reached for his wolf, pulling him back on top of him, crying out softly as skin met skin for the first time.

Koga smiled, straddling Inuyasha's waist so he didn't have to hold himself up with his arms, leaving his hands free to play. He trailed them over Inuyasha's shoulders, tracing the dips and ridges of his muscles before trailing them down to tease Inuyasha's nipples. He drew a keening wail at the first touch, smirking in satisfaction at his mate's sensitivity to his touch. He leaned down and flicked one of the buds with his tongue, drawing a groan out of him. He loved the sounds his mate was making and was determined to hear more.

Inuyasha's back arched as Koga drew light patterns on his stomach and abdomen, his muscles fluttering under the light carresses. Without his noticing, his pants disappeared, leaving him vulnerable and naked to Koga's appraising eyes. Inuyasha blushed under the looks he was getting and moaned softly, drawing Koga's eyes back to his.

"Koga," he panted and moaned. "Please, Koga. I need you so much."

"You have me love." One hand gripped Inuyasha's hard cock, stroking it gently from base to tip, while the other busied itself with finding and then fingering his hidden entrance, drawing a startled yelp as a finger entered him.

Inuyasha's body tensed and froze, eyes searching and then locking on Koga's.

"Shhh love, it's alright." Leaving his finger exactly where it was, he stroked Inuyasha's cock, drawing his attention from any pain. Leaning down, he gently kissed him, letting his tongue soothe Inuyasha's fear, even as the finger entered a little deeper.

Inuyasha moaned and pressed against the finger, his body drawing it in deeper.

Koga groaned, burrying his head in the crook of Inuyasha's shoulder as he slowly stretched the muscles surrounding his finger. Gently, he eased a second finger in, stopping every time he saw or sensed Inuyasha was in pain. Eventually, he added a third finger, filling his soon to be lover with his fingers.

Inuyasha's body was on fire, every muscle blazing with energy, yet too weak to do anything. He whimpered and mewled when Koga's fingers disappeared, opening his eyes to complain, only to see Koga, fully naked, bending over him.

Koga settled between Inuyasha's legs, one hand still stroking Inuyasha's hard length, the other gently rubbing his lover's inner thighs to relax him. Slowly he pressed the head against the prepared, puckered entrance. Inuyasha whimpered as Koga pressed into him about an inch, drawing the wolf to a complete stop. He gently stroked at Inuyasha's hips, planting butterfly kisses along his face and neck.

When he felt he was ready, Inuyasha moved a little, pulling Koga in deeper, dragging a moan from his wolf. He thrust his hips up, taking the rest in one quick mover. The shock of being filled so completely left Inuyasha breathless. He moaned softly, hugging Koga tight to him and drawing him in for a deep kiss.

Koga drew out slowly, thrusting back in shallowly to let Inuyasha get used to the feeling. Pulling back from the kiss, Koga stared in happiness at his lover's beautiful, passion filled face. Losing his control, he began to thrust harder, keeping in mind that Inuyasha was human.

Inuyasha mewled and bucked his hips, meeting each of Koga's thrusts with one of his own. Slowly, they climbed higher, the pleasure building between them until it was too much.

Koga wrapped a hand around Inuyasha's shaft once more, stroking it in time with his thrusts, wringing gorgeous moans and pleas form his love.

Inuyasha's breath caught in his throat as Koga hit his prostate dead on, sending him over the edge, white fluid splashing agaisnt their stomachs as the sun rose, changing him back into a half-demon.

Koga thrust once, twice more before coming deep within his white-haired lover. Leaning down, he bit into Inuyasha's neck as his orgasm passed, marking him as his mate.

Inuyasha groaned and leaned into the lips, breathing slowing as Koga pulled away from his neck and out of his body to collapse in a boneless heap next to him.

Koga pulled Inuyasha close to him, hugging him tightly.

"Love you Koga."

"Love you too." He yawned sleepily.

"We still have to have some more fun. Don't you want to try this body?" he asked teasingly.

"Later love, now all I want to do is sleep knowing you'll be here when I wake up."

"Always."

Author's Note: Never again will I write a lemon at 1 in the morning. I want to throw up. That was too sweet. Evil, evil, evil...gag me please. Anyway, besides my sickingly sweet love scene, how was it. Any questions like what Kagome and Inuyasha actually talked about...what Inuyasha and Sesshomaru talked about before Koga got there...where Rin and Jaken are??? Come to think of it...I think I lost those two...Review and ask me questions. Maybe I'll make a sequal or throw out a couple ficlets that tell the missing parts, but you gotta review and ask for them.
