[ P - Pre-Teen ]
"Where are they?" Shippo grumbled. He had awoken when his stomach started growling. He reache dout with his mind to try to find his friends, but it didn't help. He did sense someone else there though. It felt a little bit familiar, and Shippo could tell that the person knew that he was there.
"What do you want?" Shippo asked, trying to appear unconcerned. Curiosity leaked into his voice though.
"I want to talk to a kit named Shippo." it was an older female kitsune's voice.
"This is." Shippo said suspiciously. 'What does she want with me?' he wondered.
"Shippo!" the woman exclaimed. "Oh, I'm so happy to have found you! I've searched for years, and I've found you! My dear child........"
"My mother is de-dead." Shippo sniffled. The memory was still an open wound.
"No, I am your mother. Shippo, I don't know if you remember our lullaby, but you may remember the tune." The kitsune started to sing.
"Sleep my child,
Sleep my baby,
Tomorrow is another day,
And we can go and play,
So sleep tight,
And goodnight."
Shippo recognized the song, like you'd recognize a lullaby sung to you by your mother.
"Ma- Mama?" Shippo asked. "I th-thought that you were dead. The Th-Thunder Brothers g-got dad......"
"I know sweetie, I know. Could you let me in the barrier? I want to hold you again, afetr all these years believing you to be dead, another victim og those wretched Thunder Brothers." Shippo was anixous to see his mom again, so he let down the barrier without another thought. As soon as he saw his mom, he lept into her arms, crying:
"Mama!" She patted his head.
"Now, my son, mommy has a job for her big boy."
"Sure mom, what is it!"
"Die." the kitsune said simply, and she dug her claws into Shippo's small head. Shippo lept away.
"Ma-Mama?" Shippo whimpered.
"Yes, I'm mama. Noe do as Mommy says and die. Be a good little brat- I mean boy. Do it for Mommy." The female kitsune's voice took on a cruel, mocking tone.
"No........" Shippo curled into ball and wept. The kitsune approached.
"Dumb brat." The woman kicked him, bruising him and thrusting the knife of betrayl ever deeper into the small kitsune's heart.
"You can't be my m-momma. Mommy was nice........." Shippo whimpered. He didn't even really fight back. The kitsune grabbed him by the throat and pinned him to a tree.
"That's right, I am no one's momma. Rysuki is my father, and teh mounatin my motehr. You won't be able to tell any of your friends though. They can't hear dead people." The woman squeezed his neck. Shippos only thought was:
'She isn't Moma. She really did die. I don't have anyone left. I should just....... give.......... up.' Shippo was exhausted. He was so tired to. A nap wouldn't hurt.....
'You've been sleeping again! Sleeping off all that chocolate, hmmmm?' Wait, whose voice was that. Shippo called up the memory. Kagome...... she had given him chocolate......
"Kagome!" Shippo yelled. The woman was so startled that she loosend her grip on him. Shippo broke free. He drew his sword, and yelled out his attack.
"Land Stampede!" A herd of animals appeared from nowhere and seemed to rush the woman. She screamed. Shippo snuck up on her and set her on fier.
"Kitsunebi!" Shippo called. It was too much for the illusion. It disappeared, spattering Shippo with the small amount of Rysuki's blood that Rysuki had used to get it to move and work. Shippow as so exhausted. He tiredly set up a protective barrier around himself and the camp and slept once more.

"well, of course you would. You're Water incarnate remember, second to Kagome?" Kagura said. Nari giggled.
"Let's get soem water into a pot. They're probably waiting for us back at camp." Nari suggested.
"I want to help with that." Miroku's voice said from the trees. He stepped out of the shadows.
"Thank you so much! Where are the others?" Kagura said. Miroku smiled.
"Koga came with me." Miroku said. "Kohaku said that it was beneath him. He shouldn't have to do anything himself. We came on behalf of him." Nari's smile faltered.
"Oh, really? I came with my own business." Koga said, stepping out from the tree line. "Didn't you too Miroku?"
"Oh, yes I did. Sango......." Sango listened.
"Did you really think that I loved you?" Sango froze. Did Miroku say that?
"I mean, come on! You were the prettiest girl, but I've seen better ones in teh Western Lands. tehy can be had for cheaper too. Marriage..... you made me pay a high price. That'll be over now though."
"How could you say that to her?" Kagura said. Sango was tearing up.
"Oh, there's more." Koga said. "Kagura, Kagura, Kagura, do you really think that I forgave you for slaughetring my kin? You killed all those wolves. Don't tell me that you didn't enjoy it. Like I actually believe that Naraku used you? Keh!" Kagura was frozen. teh color drained from her face.
"Ko-Koga?" Kaguar said weakly. "You know I didn't like that. Naraku had my heart, I had to obey or die!"
"So? And Nari, what's with you? You say that you could've prevented the deaths of Kohaku's family and village, not to ention himself, and you don't think that he'd hate you? Man, are you ever niave!"
"Really, girls, will you ever learn?" Nari dropped to her knees, clutching her ears.
"Stop it! Stop IT!" She cried. Miroku morphed into his demon form.
"Shall we deliver the rest of our message?" he asked.
"Of course." Koga answered, flexing his claws. He ran at Kagura, striking her shoulder. Kagura didn't feel it.
"Koga........ how could you......." Kagura had two soliatry tears streaking down her face.
"Miroku......" Sango wept.
"Wind Circle!" No one had noticed Miroku drawing his sword underneath his huge cloak.
"Sango!" Nari moved to try and block the tornado, but someone's arm stopped her.
"Ah, ah ,ah! Bad girl." Rysuki said. "Don't mess with my pets."
"Sango!" Nari yelled. "Look out!" sango just dodged a secodn to late. It blew her five feet back, cutting her across the arm in the process.
"What have you done to them?" Nari demanded, trying to get to Sango.
"My playthings? Whatever do you mean?" he asked, fake innocence dripping from his words.
"Did you....."
"Possess them? Make copies? Are they just puppets now? Are they dead? I alone know, and you'l just have to guess, but have you seen them in an hour? No? Think hard, dear daughter." Rysuki laughed. "You may just end up hurting a friend who can't help himself." Rysuki turned toward the fight. "Watch with me." Nari couldn't help but look. It was like a traffic accident. You don't want to look, but you do and then you can't look away.
"Sango! Kagura! Miroku! KOga!" Nari yelled. Rysuki just laughed.
