Chapter 2 No One
Kagome woke, the next morning. She looked out her window, to see the sun high above the clouds. She, then pounded her face into her pillow. Her body stiffened, as she heard footsteps come to her door. The door roughly opened. Her nerves kicked in and she jumped,"Inuyasha!" The miko had a depressed face to see it was only her mother. "Dear, you must get ready for school. You'll be late!" "I'm not going..." Kagome said, with her head thrusting the pillow, once more. "Kagome, if you want to get into a good high school, you then must go to middle school first." Her mother, went into her closet, getting her uniform ready. "You make no sense!" Kagome yelled, while keeping her face to her pillow. Mrs. Higurashi sighed at her daughter's carelessness."What's the matter?"
Kagome pushed her head into her pillow more. Biting her lip, so she wouldn't speak. "You won't tell me?" her mother looked torwards her daughter's figure."Kagome..." The miko clinched her eyes shut,"Mom! I--" When her head lift, she saw her mother had left. Her school uniform was placed on her dresser, as so her socks. Kagome looked at her uniform, she had depression smeared across her face. She lifted her body from the bed and walked torwards the dresser, placing her fingertips at the collar.

While downstairs, Souta, Jii-san, and Ms. Higurashi, were eating and going on daily life. Ms. Higurashi slupmed in a chair, with a cup of coffee, sighing. "What is the matter?" Jii-san said, very consirned for his daughter. "Kagome..." Jii-san sighed and sat back, sipping hot tea. "She hasn't been behond the well yet?"
"No. Not since Thursday. Two weeks ago. I would think I'd be happy she's back, but i'm not really happy...she's so ups--"
The sound of a bag dropping inertupted Ms. Higurashi. As the sound of scattering books, came after. They all turned to see wide, brown orbs staring at them. They mostly foucsed on the older woman. "Ka-Kagome!," her mother said rushing to her side."Let me help you..."
As soon as the older woman came three feet towards Kagome, she backed away. Her eyes were wide and were frightened. "Kagome..." She lifted her hand to touch the face of her daughter's. "No! Stay back!" Kagome's eye brusted to tears. Now her mother's eyes had widen,"Kagome! What is the matter?" Kagome keep backing away. She was trembling, as the tears fell down her crimson cheecks. "Kagome! What's the matter?" she repaeted. Kagome cried so hard, she could barely breath. "What kind of mother are?" She finally mumbled. "What? Kagome, what do you mean?" Kagome ran passed her mother, being stopped by a hand grabbing her forearm. She turned seeing the older woman, holding her. "Kagome...What is th--" "Get your hand off me!"Kagome jacked her arm from the light hold and ran out the door."Kagomeee!!!" her mother ran to the door, to see nothing but the shrine.

As so, Inuyasha was still sulking, but now he was in a tree, to get from the sun's rays. "Haahhhh...life is so boring..." He slumped lower into the tree's wooden trunk. As his long, silver hair tangled in the bark. "Inuyasha!," Kaede was calling from below,"Are ye not hungry?"
He stuck his nose in the air and scruffed."Feh! Care about your own needs old hag!" "Suit ye self" She said, walking in the deirction of the hut. Inuyasha watched as she greeted Miroku and Sango, who were leaving the hut."Yes Miroku! I will!" She clung to the monk's arm. Miroku placed his hand on her head, "Thank you! Sango, that means alot." Inuyasha's ears poped right on the couple's conversation. What are they so happy about? He glared at them as they walked by him into the forest, talking and laughing. Inuyasha's curiousty took over his mind and followed, deep into the forest. What the hell could they do out here? Then Inuyasha saw their two lips collide. Inuyasha's became as red as his firerat, as he watched them two slid each other's tounge into their mouth. He sat there, wide eyes, staring at the couple.
------------------------------
Then a scence came to his head. A scence of Kikyo kissing Naraku.( I can dream!)He watched, as Kikyo slipped her tounge into his mouth. And Naraku the same. Inuyasha couldn't beleive his eyes, Kikyo had betrayed him. She had betrayed him, she had went to Naraku, his enemy. He watched as the kiss become deeper. Naraku's kiss trailed lower, as Kikyo moaned. Inuyasha couln't take it anymore.
When he came back to camp, everyone was still sleeping. His friend, Miroku, leaned against a tree, with his staff in his lap. His friend, Sango, slept on a straw mat, with Kirara laying right to her head. Then, he turned his head to see his best friend, Kagome, sleeping in her bag, she brought from her era. Shippo slept close to her chest. Inuyasha didn't know why, but he would always get jealous when he saw Shippo so close to Kagome. Or for the fact, any man. He stared at her sleeping figure. Then slumped against a tree, drifting to sleep. In the morning him and Kagome had a huge fight, over a small thing. And Kagome left, leading him to where he is now.
Now that I think of it...I didn't feel so upset , seeing Kikyo betray me, but I felt crushed seeing Kagome leave me. Why's that? His mind was on Kagome and Kagome only, at this moment. He could only think about the good times they had, then he remembered when Kagome kissed him. He touched his lips,"I wonder what it would be like, if I had deepened that kiss." His face flamed,"No! I can't think like that! She's just a friend!" But he couldn't help it, a new desire was coming over him. Some reason he wanted to hold Kagome in his arms. Feel her skin rub against his. He wanted to hear her moan his name, as he rubbed his hands over her body. Then, he found himself thinking of Kagome, naked. His face glowed red and I swear he drooled.
Discovering that he was acting as that god damn pervert monk, he snapped from his daydream."No! Can't think like that!!!!", he yelled, as it echoed through the forest. "Who's there!" Sango said, turning her face in the driection of Inuyasha. Damnit! They heard me?! The hanyou started to lose balance of his grip. No! No don't fall! Inuyasha was now clinging on for his life. "Come out!"Miroku yelled, making him more nervous. Sango pointed torwards the tree Inuyasha was in, as Miroku hit the trunk, with his staff. Inuyasha came falling from the tree. His face hit the ground first, with his body following. "Inuyasha!!" Miroku and Sango were shocked to see the hanyou, lying on the ground. When he looked up to the couple, he saw their faces smeared red. Either with anger, or embrassment. "H-hi..."He said, sitting up,"How's it going?""Inuu.Yaashaaa!! You're dead!!"Sango and Miroku chased after the hanyou. "Miroku! Sango! I'm sorry!!!" Inuyasha ran into the hut, surprising Kaede."Inuyasha?""Huh? Kaede?" He stopped in his tracks, making him trip in the process, falling on his face. Miroku and Sango came running in, not seeing Inuyasha's body on the ground, and colliding with him. "Inuyasha!! We finally have you!" Sango and Miroku said, grabbing ahold of his arms. "Nooooooooo! Let me go!" Inuyasha yelled, flustering.Kaede looked at the young adults fighting and messing around."Why do the young ones have all the fun?"
-------------------------
Kagome lied against the shrine wall. She was bunched up with her knee at her face, and her arms wrapped around her."Kagome! Where are you?" She heard her mother calling for her. But Kagome didn't move, she stayed there. She couldn't face her mother, after hearing what she heard."Well, if she isn't happy with me being here..." Kagome got to her feet, walking to the well. She lead her hands to the edge and looked down,"Maybe I should go back." She stood silently, staring into the well. "No...I shouldn't. I don't want to run into Inuyasha. He'll prbably yell at me some more." She turned her face away and walked to the corner, of the shrine. The miko crouched back down in her former postion. Tears still ran down her face. From her mother's words and that fight with Inuyasha. She had nowhere go, she felt very lonely and helpless. No one cares for me...No one. Kagome drifted away from the real world, into a world, pitch black. Small tears fell down her cheeks, as she feel asleep.
