There was absolutely nothing on TV. Nineteen year old Angel flopped noisily on the couch, remote in hand. Changing the channels profusely, she finally landed on some kind of Anime show. She decided to leave it at that.

"I hope this is something good. What's it even called?" She said aloud to her self.

Inuyasha.

The name flashed before the show went to a commercial.

"Cool. Sounds interesting." She said.

"What does?" Her mother called from behind her.

She jumped not expecting to hear her.

"Oh, just this new Anime called Inuyasha."

Her mom picked up her pocket book and started walking towards the door.

"Where are you going mom?"

Angel was curious because her mom took her almost everywhere with her.

"Oh, I'm just going up to the corner store. I need some cigarettes. You know me!"

Her mother beamed a white smile at her, knowing that Angel was trying to STOP her from smoking.

"That stuff is gonna kill you. You DO know that right?"

Her mom nodded her head and turned to walk out the door.

"I will be back a while. I may go and do some grocery shopping too."

Ang waved her off and turned her attentions to the TV. She heard her mom walk out the door and start the engine to their older Chevy Astro van. Angel just ignored it and watched the show. As Inuyasha progressed, she learned rather quickly what was going on. About Kikyou and Inuyasha's past relationship, his secret love for Kagome. Angel decided that she loved the show right then and there.

`I wish I could live a life like that. Get out of stupid-ville USA. That would be a dream come true. HA. It will never happen.' She thought to herself.

"If only." She wondered aloud, continuing to watch the Inuyasha Marathon.

She settled in to watch every single episode, by the time it was over, hours later, she adored the show. She wanted to know everything about it. She looked over at the clock and read twelve forty-six.

`I must not have heard mom come in. Where is she?'

She got up and walked to the kitchen and saw several grocery bags in the trash can.

"She did come home. I was really in that show then!" She said amused.

She walked up the stairs and to her mother's room. As she looked inside, she found that indeed her mom had come home.

`I can't believe I didn't hear her or nothing.' She thought to herself.

She sighed and went to her own room. Collapsing on the bed, all she could think about was how much she had learned about Inuyasha. She got back up and grabbed her portable CD player and put on her headphones. She scrunched her nose as Mandy Moore blared out of the speakers. Lowering the volume, she walked back to her bed and did a belly flop onto it. She closed her eyes and sleep quickly overtook her.

`Gibberish. Someone was speaking Gibberish.'

Angel's thoughts immediately went to her mom who was probably watching the living room TV from the kitchen.

"MOM! Turn that down, I can't sleep!" She called.

It had stopped. Momentarily. It had started up again as quickly as it had stopped. Angel groaned and took the headphones off her ears. She yawned and opened her eyes, letting them adjust to the daylight. As her eyes began to focus, things she did not recognize came to sight. Being slammed wide-awake. She saw people standing around her, looking down on her with puzzlement. She got up and ran into the corner as far away as she could get.

"Leave me alone. I can fight you know. I know Karate, and am a Master Archer!" She said putting up her fists.

She looked around and saw an old heating furnace near her and a table in front of it. To her left side, an older woman was now picking up the cot that she must have been laying on. The other people looked familiar to her, but not totally. A boy with Silver-White hair stepped forward and Angel screamed as loud as she could when she noticed the little white doggie ears on resting on his head.

He covered his ears and dropped to the floor. Two girls, about the same age as she, dropped down to help him. The other man, dressed in some weird purple clothing, came up to her and kissed her hand. She jerked it back, and put up her fists in defensive mode again.

"I will kick your ass' if you don't let me go!" She said bravely.

`Oh lord, I have been kidnapped and they plan to kill me.' She thought to herself.

The older woman stepped in front of her and pointed to her own chest.

"Kaede." She said simply.

Angel looked at her as if she had blown a gasket. The woman began speaking a language she didn't understand and she interrupted her.

"I don't understand what you're saying! Just let me go, I won't tell the cops on you!" She said nervously.

Angel looked around the hut and noticed a little boy with a foxtail and tiny hands and feet. She nearly screamed again, but that boy with the dog-ears was next to her in a flash covering her mouth with a clawed hand. Then, it hit her; she knew where she recognized these beings.

"Inu-yasha?" She said slowly and then darkness over took her once again.

"Who is she Kaede?" Miroku asked.

The old woman kneeled next to the sleeping stranger and took the damp cloth off her head.

"I believe she has traveled through time, much like Kagome."

Kaede got up and walked over to the table and began to search through a little brown bag.

"She did what? Well, that would explain the strange clothes and the language. How can we talk to her if we can't understand her?" Kagome said energetically.

Kaede stood and walked back over to the unconscious girl.

"You will be able to understand her in a while." She said simply and replaced another cool cloth.

The Inuyasha gang went outside and began to talk.

"I wonder where she came from. It's not everyday that you see a girl like that!" Miroku said with a blush.

Sango rolled her eyes and spoke next, "I think she is some type of demon. She must be with a device like this!"

Sango was eyeing the CD player that the girl dropped.

"NO, either Inuyasha or myself would have sensed that. Oh, and that's a CD player. I have one at my house." Kagome said.

"Maybe. Where did he go anyway?" Sango said, everyone noticed that Inuyasha and Shippou were missing.

Kirara was sleeping by the door of the hut, but were had the other two disappeared too. Kagome lead the others back the hut where both Inuyasha and Shippou were still with Kaede. Just as the gang walked through the door, the strange girl began to wake.

"Stay back Kagome. You never know what she can do!" Inuyasha said even though he knew she was human.

"She will not harm ye, she possesses no power." Kaede said.

The strange girl sat up and looked around the room.

"Where am I? Please don't kill me!" She said getting up again.

Inuyasha snorted and walked up to her.

"What are you doing Inuyasha?" Kagome said.

"Just messing with her!"

He pulled out the UN-transformed Tetsusaiga and held it at her throat.

"What's your name and how did you know mine?" He said remembering that she said his name before she fainted.

"I, uh, the TV series. Let me go!"

She yelled hurting his ears and ran past him and out of the hut. She had no idea where she was going and to her surprise, nothing looked civilized, which caused her to stop in her tracks. No cars, no buildings, no planes, nothing from her time. Inuyasha walked behind her and was about to grab her when she took off running again. Inuyasha smiled.

"I love a good chase." He said.

"INUYASHA! Stop!" Kagome yelled but he was to far gone to hear.

The others ran after her and tried to catch Inuyasha, but to no avail. Kagome was about to yell the `S' word, but then Inuyasha jumped and landed in front of the girl and she screeched.

"Inuyasha, if that's your name, please don't kill me, I swear I will leave and never come back!" She spoke.

"SIT, sit, sit " yelled Kagome.

Inuyasha did a double header into the ground.

"Inuyasha, stop torturing her. Come on."

Sango grabbed the girl by the hand and pulled her down the path.

"My name is Sango..."

The girl interrupted her.

"I know who all of you are, but I don't know how this is possible." She said sadly.

"How is it you know of us?" Miroku said.

"I bet she has some kind of power!"

Angel looked down and picked up the little fox demon.

"Your a Kitsune and so CUTE! Shippou right?" She said playing with his tail.

"Yup. Told you she had powers."

The girl laughed. She was beginning to feel at ease now.

"I swear. I have no powers, I guess I should tell you about myself, then you can be as confused as me."

She grinned at the others. She told them about watching the series on TV and how she wished she could live like them, Sango handed her the CD player and spoke before Inuyasha had the chance to say something mean.

"Well, it's nice to have you with us. Kaede will find some way for you to get home. But, I don't understand about the wish though, it sounds as if you had a life of luxury."

Angel laughed and nearly dropped little Shippou.

"Oh yea, some luxurious life I have!" She said continuing to laugh.

"My life is boring. The only thing I do is sit on my butt and watch TV. I don't even go to school anymore cause I finished it early."

Kagome gasped.

"You must be smart then. I would love to get out of school!"

Inuyasha snorted from behind them.

"Whatcha snorting for? You don't even go to school!" Kagome laughed at him.

"So what is your name fair lady, that is the only detail you forgot to mention?" Miroku asked innocently.

"I was afraid to say because of `The Question!'"

Miroku blushed and the others laughed hard.

"It's Angel, but I prefer to be called Ang k?" She called sweetly. "Just don't ask me cause my answer is No!" Ang added quickly.

They laughed and began to make their way towards the village.

"Inuyasha, you will have to talk to our new friend eventually." Miroku said.

"Feh, I don't have to anything I don't want to." Inuyasha said up in the tree branches.

"What did I do to make you not like me, Inuyasha?" Ang said sadly.

`Stupid, pathetic human girls, think they can make anyone like them, Feh!' Inuyasha thought to himself.

"Your fine, for a HUMAN!" He said low enough for her to barely hear.

Ang just shrugged and continued walking on. Once they got back to Kaede's Village, they packed some food and sleeping materials was about to leave when Kaede stopped them.

"Where are you going without the girl?" She asked plainly.

"Well, we uh, thought that she wouldn't wanna come. So we were going to leave her here." Kagome offered.

Ang walked out of the hut and stood beside Kaede.

"I don't need to go, that's ok."

Inuyasha snorted behind Kagome.

"She must go, it is in her destiny." Kaede said.

Ang stood straighter and was about to question her when Miroku grabbed her hand.

"Come one then, I'm sure glad I packed extra stuff!" he said happily.

"Uh, wait, Why do I need to go?" She asked.

"What, are you scared?"

Inuyasha moved to stand in front of her.

"No, I just don't want to be the cause of some huge changes. You forget that I already know what happens. I know how you defeat Naraku, how you and Kagome FINALLY decide to tell each other that you love each other and how you d..."

And stopped abruptly. Inuyasha and the others looked at her to continue.

"It would be best child, if you only help them out when it is imperative." Kaede said.

Ang nodded. She knew she was about to say that she knew how Inuyasha died. She just met them and she couldn't help but feel bad for them.

"Well, come on then wench."

Ang was in too much shock to protest and followed them. They walked for a while and talked absently about the changes in her time from Kagome's. They found out that the year in Kagome's time was 1996, but in Ang's time it was 2003. They also found out that it wasn't totally different from Kagome's time, but a few technological advances had been made. Ang had more machines' running her world, she also told them about her American music, the groups, bands and artists she listened to.

Kagome liked the girl called Mandy Moore that Ang had brought with her. She especially liked the one called, "Only Hope." She was in the middle of listening to the song when little alarms went off in her head.

"Inuyasha, a shard." She said.

The group stopped walking and found themselves face to face with Kouga.
