InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ New Stranger in Old Times ❯ Chapter 14 ( Chapter 14 )
Going through her closet the next day, Ang found the Kimono that Sesshoumaru gave her in the past. She wondered how it got there, then her hands trembled as she put it on and looked at herself in the mirror. She was astonished how much she looked exactly like him. Excluding the ears. She decided that she would wear that and went outside to sit on the roof of her house. She wondered if Sesshoumaru would ever come to see her. Her hand went to the tiny bulge that was now her stomach.
"Inuyasha wasn't lying when he said they don't last long." She said talking about her pregnancy.
She figure that in human months, she looked like she was already three or four months along. Not about a week and a half. She was about to go for a walk when her senses started tingling again. She couldn't see any demons anywhere and when she sniffed, she only smelled pollution, plants and normal things of that nature.
"What is going on?" She said to herself.
A large black limousine turned the corner to her street, making its way towards her house. The demon presence she had sensed was coming from that. Her eyes fixed on it, trying to get some kind of information from it, but she couldn't. She growled in frustration and watched the limousine stop in front of her house. She prepared herself incase it was some sort of trap and jumped down from the roof. Landing near a tree, she waited for whoever it was that got out the limousine. The door opened and a figure with short white hair stepped out. She stiffened and stood straight.
"Inuyasha? Inuyasha!"
She ran over to him and squeezed him in a hug.
"Hey! I missed you too!"
He hugged her back then promptly let her go. Kagome got out next and so did Shippou and Kirara. She hugged them all and they cried all over again.
"What happened to the others?" Ang asked to anyone in particular.
"Miroku and Sango finally got their shit together and married. They took Kohaku and went back to live in Sango's village. They had kids, and stuff. But being human, they couldn't be here today. You should know why. Same for Kaede." Inuyasha said simply.
"They're all dead. I didn't even get to say goodbye."
Ang felt like crying again.
"Aww…don't do that! They wrote you letters and stuff. We got hundreds of em for ya. Just, not here." Inuyasha laughed.
It made Ang feel a little better. It was then that Ang both smelled and felt a familiar scent. Her whole body froze as something touched her from behind. She knew who it was, but couldn't bring herself to move. Her heart beat faster than it ever had before as two arms encircled her. Breath upon her neck and a nose buried in her hair rendered her helpless. She could see the love and pure happiness reflecting in her in her friends eyes as they looked on. She slowly turned around and let her eyes lock with a pair of golden ones. Silent tears fell from her cheeks.
"Still crying for me love? Even after I told you not too?"
Sesshoumaru's voice filled her head and she threw herself into his arms, crying into his shoulder and kissing him in-between sobs. She looked him over and saw that he still looked exactly the same as when she left.
"Oh I love you. You stupid self centered jerk! Why did you push me through that portal?" Ang said still kissing him and crying.
He nodded to the others and took her in his arms, and jumped from rooftop to rooftop and landed in some forest clearing.
"Where are we?" She asked, still holding him.
"Just a place that we can talk without interruptions, not far from your house." He said and sat on the ground with her in his lap.
"I missed you, love. I missed you so much!"
He ground his mouth against hers and let his hand travel down the side of her body and over the tiny swell under dress.
"He is growing quickly."
Sesshoumaru smiled and kissed her again.
"Sesshou, tell me why you pushed me. I wanted to stay with you." She said.
"I did it because I would rather have had you live a normal life and your family remember you. Sure you would have seen them again, but they wouldn't have known you and that would have ate your heart out knowing what they meant to you." He said against her.
"But you suffered for so long. You could have at least came to see me a couple of times."
He nodded.
"I did. When you slept, I saw you. When you were sick, I saw you, helped your mother anyway I could. When she was in trouble, I was there. I just couldn't let anything happen to your family, love. It might have tormented me, but I knew that one day I would be holding you again, and at last, that day has come." He said squeezing her to him.
"Oh, my poor, poor Sesshou! I'm here now, and I love you so much!" She said and kissed his lips.
"Sorry to disturb you!"
A voice startled both of them and Sesshoumaru jumped to attack.
"PUT ME DOWN SESSHOUMARU!" Rin's voice called lowly.
Sesshoumaru had grabbed her by the neck and hauled her in the air, not knowing who she was.
"Sorry." He simply said and he carefully set her down and took a step back, feeling Ang's arms come around him from behind.
"The others sent me to find you. They want to see her too." Rin said rubbing her now sore throat.
"Tell them we will be there in a minute ok."
Ang watched Rin nod and walk in the direction of her house.
"You know, you really shouldn't grab people like that unless you know they are your enemy."
Ang let go of him and walked to face him.
"What if it's you?"
He grabbed her and they rolled to the ground, laughing. They lay in each others arms, kissing, for a few minutes more.
"Come on. We better go. I am anxious to have a talk with the others."
Sesshoumaru nodded and helped her up off the ground.
"Hey Ang?"
Ang turned in Sesshoumaru's arms.
"Yes Sesshou?"
He grinned at his pet nickname and said, "You can come and move in with me you know?"
He nuzzled her hair and kissed the base of her throat.
"You know, I think I will. I don't ever wanna let go of you again."
Sesshoumaru laughed as her arms came around his neck and drew him in for another kiss.
"I don't think you will ever have to." He said as they walked back to the house.
