Three weeks passed quickly and Ang grew large with child. Sesshoumaru has explained that with her having half demon blood in her, and the babe being a half demon, the babe would grow five times quicker than human babes would. A full Youkai child would be born in a two or three weeks. Not a month, like Ang was, so far. They couldn't decide on a name for the babe, so they decided to wait until the birth to try to name him. Meanwhile, Ang packed all her things, which wasn't much, and moved into Lord Sesshoumaru's mansion, which was, indeed, near her childhood home. She preferred that they stay close to her mom, so she could visit when ever she wanted. Ang and Sesshoumaru had planned for the party that they had promised to throw and were in the middle of setting things up. It was a sunny day and no one had a care in the world.

"HEY! Sesshou?" Ang called behind her and Sesshoumaru stood beside her, looking at the party streamer that she couldn't quite reach.

"I feel like I'm disabled. Would you put this up there for me." She asked him.

"Your not disabled, love. You will back to doing things your way in no time."

He laughed and reached over her head hanging the streamer over her head.

"Easy for you to say! You don't have to get someone to help you out of the bathtub for Christ sakes! And YOU don't feel like your sitting on a freaking watermelon all the time!"

Sesshoumaru couldn't control his laughter and he let it roll.

"It won't be much longer now, love. Your ready to let the pup drop, but he likes it in there I think." He said rubbing her ball of a stomach.

He kissed her lips lightly and returned to his paper work on the table behind her.

"HUMPH! Little brat better hurry up and come out." She said to herself.

"Don't rush it, love. You will be wishing he never came in a year or so." He said laughing.

"OHHHH! You and those damned demon ears!" She said as he laughed.

She walked over to him and sat on his lap.

"Calm down Ang. All will be well." He said and nibbled on her earlobe.

"I'm hungry Sesshou. I gotta find something to eat."

Her stomach growled in agreement and Sesshoumaru let her up.

"You want something?" She asked him.

He just shook his head.

"No. I need to finish this."

She kissed his cheek and went to the kitchens.

She had the cook make her tons of food, mostly Italian. When she was in her human form, she was part Italian and she could never deny the call of the Italian food. Once she came back, being pregnant of course, the call seemed to multiply ten-fold. After a good hearty eat, she went to her and Sesshoumaru's room to prepare for the festivities on that night. She laid out her clothes and thanked god for the bath tub that Sesshoumaru had built into an extended portion of their room. She climbed in and instantly relaxed into the hot water. Her muscles eased and her body completely calmed.

To Ang, hours seemed to have gone by before she wanted to get out. She tried to stand on her own, but she found that once again, she couldn't do it. She was determined to do it on her own and turned over to her side. She used her fingers to grasp the edge of the tub and used her other hand to push up from the bottom. She was giddy with herself when she stood on her own.

"Should have done that before." She said amused.

She quickly dried off and went to the bed that had her clothes on it. After dressing in a navy blue dress, she went to her vanity and put her hair into a roll on top of her head. She dabbed on some perfume and then added her matching earrings and necklace. It was then that Sesshoumaru came in and wrapped his arms around her shoulders.

"You look beautiful." He said and kissed the back of her neck.

"Thank you Sesshou. You need to get ready, the party will start a few." She said, noting that the party was only half an hour away.

"Eh. I'm wearing what I have on. It's clean and I bathed this morning." He said.

"YOU! Mr. I love to be clean and presentable! Not gonna bathe and change AGAIN? Are you feeling ok, love?" She asked him and put her hand on his forehead and felt for fever.

Her eyes widened in shock when she felt his hot and clammy skin.

"Sesshou? When were you going to tell me you were sick?"

He laughed and bent to put his nose in her hair.

"I'm not sick, sweets. It's what every Youkai father goes through before his mates time comes."

She slowly nodded and stood to face him.

"So you're sure you will be ok then?"

He nodded and kissed her lips lightly.

"Just fine, love!"

She jumped as he grabbed her and kissed her passionately.

"Come on, lets get this damned party over with!" He said and took her hand in his.

They walked down the stairs and saw that lots of people were there already. Sesshoumaru told Ang that this was sort of like a baby shower, but for demons, everyone was invited. Ang eyed the table stacked full of gifts and nearly jumped for joy. Then she spotted her mother sitting at a table not far from her.

"I'm gonna go see my mom for a minute ok."

Sesshoumaru nodded and kissed her fingers. She smiled at him and made her way over to the table.

"MOM!" She called and her mom jumped.

Hugging her mother, Ang felt elated to see her again, for it had been about a week since she had the chance.

"How are you Ang? Is Sesshoumaru treating you well?" Her mom asked running a protective hand over her face.

"Of course he is."

Ang tried to sit at the table, but her rounded stomach wouldn't permit it. So she finally sighed and turned the opposite way.

"You know Ang. I know exactly what your going through. Granted I had to go through a whole nine months with you, I felt the same way you do now."

Ang laughed and drank a glass of Apple Cider that she had grabbed off a passing waiter's tray.

"I'll bet. I don't know if I wanna have anymore kids. This is crazy. I can't do anything on my own. It totally sucks!" She said pouting.

"Oh Ang." Her mother said laughing.

Just then, a man her mothers age came up and held is hand out to her.

"May I interrupt and have this dance?" The man asked, looking at her mom.

Ang laughed and quickly spoke up.

"Don't let me stop you! I have to find Sesshou anyway." She said as the man whisked her mother off and to the dance floor.

Ang walked through the crowd of people, she hadn't yet seen her friends. She went outside and didn't see any more cars coming down the road, in fact, no one was outside.

"Weird." She whispered and turned to walk back into the house.

She hadn't moved three steps when she both heard and felt something pop, followed by a loud gush of water running down her legs.

"Oh god!" She cried out.

She instinctively grabbed her stomach and tried walking a little more to the house to get help.

"Ang? Is that you?"

She turned and saw Inuyasha and Kagome coming up the walk. A pain shot through Ang's midsection and she nearly fell over.

"What is it?" Kagome asked as Inuyasha caught her.

"Get…me…upstairs…" Ang said to Inuyasha.

He could feel the wet clothes on his arm and instantly knew what the problem was.

"SHIT! It's her time." He called to Kagome who started to walk into the house.

"Take her upstairs to her room. I will find Lord Sesshoumaru."

They both ran into the house and caused looks from everyone. Inuyasha ran up the stairs by the main door, avoiding the party hall altogether. Another pain gripped Ang and she yelled, but not loud enough to cause a scene.

"Just hang on Ang. Almost there." Inuyasha said, still running towards her room.

Then he noticed he didn't know which one it was.

"Which room, Ang?"
