Okay, let me get this straight. Inuyasha came through the well and got stuck in Kagome's time. He just figures out and is really, really mad. I'll do my best for this story!

Chapter 1

 

“I guess it's… OH NO! WE FORGOT THE JEWEL SHARDS! INUYASHA!!! HOW CAN YOU FORGET?!!!”

 

InuYasha stared innocently at Kagome. “You were the one who had them.” He muttered.

Kagome thought about that she had it on a necklace around her neck and she had put it in her backpack because it made her neck sore. And, the backpack was in the feudal era.

How can she forget?

“Looks like it wasn't MY fault after all.” InuYasha said rudely. Kagome stared at him. “I'm sorry. No, I'm not sorry. How con you not remind me?”

“How can you forget?”

Kagome's mom came out of the house and came up to Kagome and InuYasha.

“How about you stop fighting for awhile and come inside? It's freezing out here?”

“But mom!” Kagome argued, “We can't get back! I-I”

“She forgot the sacred JEWEL SHARDS!” InuYasha interrupted.

Kagome's mom put her arms around herself and shivered a bit. “We can talk about this inside.” She muttered.

 

 

“School?” InuYasha wondered, “Isn't that the place Kagome always goes to?” He rolled his eyes uninterested. “Yes.” Kagome's mom said, “You'll have to take school everyday except Saturdays and Sundays, I'm afraid. But don't worry It'll give you something to do all day.” Kagome rolled her eyes, knowing school isn't “just something to do.” It came along with homework at home and you would be focusing on that your whole life. As it seems. Life seems so dull with school, Kagome doesn't know where her source of fun comes from. I guess, that was, the feudal era. Now she would have to stop pretending she's sick with her grandfather's fake illnesses. She would have to go to school for a change.

 

“Do you know what math is?” Kagome asked InuYasha. InuYasha looked at her unknowingly and shook her head. “well,..” Kagome began. She didn't know where to start. Math was a big subject. “Math has… numbers. You add those numbers together.”

 

InuYasha still didn't understand. So, Kagome went on and while she talked, InuYasha daydreamed, and finally, he had a clue what school was like. He didn't enjoy it. At all. “So, if you add 3 and 1 together, what will you get?” Kagome quizzed. InuYasha quickly jumped to look in her eyes and guessed, “200.” Kagome sighed and knew she had to still do a lot of work to teach him before school starts for him.

 

 

Kagome finally came up with an idea and started searching through her closet, clothes and shoes were flying everywhere. “What are you doing?” InuYasha asked her.

 

 

Finally, Kagome got to the end of her closet and pulled out a dusty box full of papers. “What is that?” InuYasha asked as he tilted his head to the right. “All my work I did in Grade 1.” Kagome answered. She set the plastic box on the floor and opened the lid.

 

Inside, there was simple math sheets, and Kagome quickly started copying certain pages. She explained to InuYasha how to add and subtract, and gave him math sheets. When Kagome got the sheets back, they all had an answer of 200, written by InuYasha, who wasn't familiar with what numbers looked like.

 

“Why do we keep having to do this?” Inuyasha complained.

 

“Because school's tomorrow!”

 

“So, what?!” InuYasha yelled, “It's not like I really care, anyways.”

 

“You should CARE!!!” Kagome screamed furiously as she pulled herself under her covers and closed her eyes, with the sheets spread all across the floor. Inuyasha obediently sat beside her bed. Suddenly, he felt nervous.
