NIGHT ROMANCE
Kagome layed up in her sleeping bag staring at the night sky, what she didn't realize was that two golden orbs staring at her in the trees. "What has she done to me, she has been plagueing my dreams every night" he growled. He thought about the dreams that he was having, kagome and sesshoumaru kissing and showing love to each other. He could see her blue watery eyes and does beautiful black hair, "what am i thinking, she's beautiful!" he mentally kicked himself for that. "I am getting soft" he thought.
Kagome who was still staring at the sky had a strange feeling that she was being watched and stared into the trees. What she saw made her gasped. "sesshoumaru!!". She left her friends and walked over to sesshoumaru nervously. "What are you doing here?" she asked nervously. He didn't answer, he just stared at her with his intent gaze piercing through her. Then he quietly said in a soft but firm voice. " what did you do to me wench?" Kagome looked baffled. But sesshoumaru carried on. "what kind of curse did you put on me? how come you are in my dreams? Answer me and i will make your death quick and less painful". He pointed a poison claw near her throat. Kagome gulpped. She summoned up her courage and said, "i don't know why I was in your dream, but can you tell me why you where in mine?". It was true, she has been having dreams about the demonlord.
"I don't know why I was in your dreams wench" the demonlord growled. "What i know is that your are using some magic to plague my dreams." Kagomes' anger rised up not caring about the poison claws, she yelled at sesshoumaru "OH, SO WHEN YOU DREAM ABOUT ME, IT IS A PLAGUE!. AND WHEN I DREAM ABOUT YOU IT IS A VISIT!!!!". She continued to shout at the demonlord, until she was blue in the face and was breathing hard. Then all of a sudden a clawed hand found their way around her neck." you will not speak to me like that wench, you will respect me". He growled.I would if you did anything worth the respect." She snarled.
Sesshoumaru looked at the miko in his hand. He found it very amusing to watch the miko retaliate comments back to him every time he says something. He let go of the miko and said. "What is your name miko?". Kagome was shocked, "umm Kagome". she was getting nervous under the intent gaze the demon lord was giving her."Hmm, Kagome pretty name." What!! I just didn't say that. He thought. He looked at Kagome, her mouth was open. Did he just compliment me on my name? she thought.
Kagome then asked"Sesshoumaru, umm why were you following us?" sesshoumaru was stumped, he couldn't answer her this question. So he plainly said," that is not of your concern Kagome". Kagome huffed, "not of my concern eh? well it is, are you here to steal tetsusaiga?". This time it was sesshoumaru's turn to be shocked. But he didn't show it. So he calmly said. "No I am not here for the half-breeds sword. I am here cause you have caught my interest." Kagome stood flabbergasted, she never new that the great all mighty sesshoumaru was interested in humans.
Sesshoumaru was looking at kagome seeing her aura change from confused to wonder. He was also looking if she would laugh at him from showing this kind of weakness. But the laughter didn't came. He looked at kagome put two and two together and gasped.stared at the demon lord and asked in a shy but firm voice" Sesshoumaru are you in love with me?"stood there like a tree his mouth having a hard time to speak. Then he said "Hai, I always thought of you different then the other humans. I've been meaning to take you away from here" Kagome looked shocked. "Sesshoumaru, but what about Inuyasha,my friends and the jewel shards. I have my responsibilities". Sesshoumaru thought about that, then said "Do you love my half-brother? because if you do, he has been going to that walking corps for sometimes now.
Again Kagome gasp." you...how....when.."sesshoumaru then said "I watched Inuyasha going to her every single night. That is why he is not here" he pointed a clawed finger to the tree Inuyasha was suppose to be in. Kagome looked, then her eyes were filled with tears." I knew it was to good to be true" Kagome was sobbing really badly. But then Sesshoumaru did something that shocked him and Kagome, he wrapped his arm around Kagome and offered comforting words.
"Arigatou Sesshoumaru-sama for calming me" Kagome gave Sesshoumaru a bright smile, which made Sesshoumaru blush. Oh my god, the great Sesshoumaru is blushing. kagome thought. He is so cute when he does that. Sesshoumaru then heard Kagomes friends stir. "I think your friends are waking up, I must go." He said sadly.asked "will you be back?" Sesshoumaru smiled which made Kagome smile to."Yes I will be back for you." Then he leaned down and kissed Kagome, Kagome was so shocked. If this was how a first kiss is like she is surely enjoying it. Their kissed deepened, finally Sesshoumaru pulled back. He smiled and disappeared. "wow" she said to herself. Now that the sun has risen, Kagome started to make breakfast, humming the Fukai Mori song.
She was in such a good mood that she didn't notice Inuyasha coming back to camp and was staring at her with angry amber eyes. "Why do you have my brothers scent on you?" he growled. Kagome being the one who is usually happy just ignored him. "Answer me wench" he snarled. Now everybody was up and observing the scene. "what is going on Inuyasha?" Sango asked. "Yea Inuyasha why are you making all this noise?"Shippo asked yawning.Miroku being the lecher stood behind Sango, Sango face turned red "HENTAI!!" and she knocked Miroku out with her boomerang." Well Inuyasha" she asked breathing very hard." Kagome has Sesshoumaru scent on her" Inuyasha yelled. "Is that true Kagome?" sango asked politely. Kagome being the one who can't smell the scent just nodded. Sango smiled and asked," Kagome may I talk to you alone?" kagome nodded. "Hey where do you think your going?" Inuyasha snarled. Kagome got really angry. She turned around to confront the mutt. "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS INUYASHA" she sreamed making Inuyasha ears hurt. "I don't have to tell you anything" and she started to walk onto the forest with sango. "you are not going anywhere" Inuyasha grabbed her wrist. "SIT BOY!" Inuyasha's head smashed into the ground. "Serves you right to try to stop me. and the two ladies exited.
wWhen they were out of earshot sango asked her best friend"Kagome, do you love Inuyasha?"Kagome stared at sSango and then she shook her head. "I use to love him, but he only seeing me as kikyo and i am nothing more then his shard detector." Sango looked at her which she was now trying to hold back her tears."and Sesshoumaru?"Kagome thought very hard about that. "sango, I am falling in love with Sesshoumaru." Kagome said. Sango smiled," if you like him then I will support you"Kagome smiled at her best friend. "Arigatou Sango" and she hugged her. They walked back to camp. They didn't realise that a certain youkai heard there conversation. Sesshoumaru smiled. Then without a trace he vanished.
Back at the campsite. Inuyasha and Shippo was having an argument, Miroku still unconcious and Sango and Kagome having a quiet conversation. The ladies were so busy chatting that they didn't even realize that Inuyasha was eavesdropping. What he heard made him growl. "So you are in love with my brother eh?" both ladies looked startled and turned towards him. He was looking at Kagome with anger in his amber eyes. Kagome looked at him and nodded. "you bitch I have protected you and this is the way you treat me?" He snarled. Kagome stood up. "well at least i chose a person who loves me and is alive." she spat at Inuyasha. he growled and yelled "Don't you dare talk about Kikyo like that!" Kagome "I can speak to her in anyway I want.". She then started to walk away from him. "OH no you are not going anywhere" Inuyasha backhanded kagome to the floor. Kagome looked up shocked.
Sango looked worry and she placed herself in front of kagome and also a fully transformed Kirara. "Leave her alone Inuyasha" she didn't do anything wrong." Sango was looking at Inuyasha. Shippo was terrified and he hid behind Sango. Inuyasha flexed his claws. Miroku who just awoken stared at the scene. He got up and face Inuyasha with Sango. "what happened?" he whispered. "he just hurt kagome" sango replied. "why did you hurt her Inuyasha? she is your friend". Miroku shouted to him. Inuyasha just flexed his fingers. He then replied in a dangerous tone. "she is in love with my brother Sesshoumaru". They all looked at him. "so at least she has someone to love, not like you Inuyasha, you have Kikyo and she is dead." Shippo screamed. That made Inuyasha mad. His eyes started turning red. "why you little brat " he snarled and he charged towards them. They all tried to defend agome but in the end they layed unconcious on the floor scratched and bruised. "now it is your turn Kagome" he smiled evilly. Kagome gasped and tried to move back, but her fear didn't let her. Inuyasha spranged at her, "bye Kagome" Kagome covered her eyes. but the blow didn't came. She opened her hand and gasped. Sesshoumaru was fighting with Inuyasha. "Leave her alone Inuyasha" Sesshoumaru said. "How about no" Inuyasha mocked. "I prefer her dead ne?"Sesshoumaru looked at his brother."you're pathetic, just because she dosen't love you what gives you the right to hurt her?" Inuyasha growled. he launched himself at Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru dodged it but not fast enough. He got cut in the shoulder. He winced at the pain. "NO!!" Kagome looked shocked. she ran towards Sesshoumaru "are you ok?" she asked, concerned. Sesshoumaru looked at her, her eyes help lots of emotion. love,concern,hope. He smiled and lift a hand. He stoked her chin. Kagome was happy, and they kissed. Inuyasha was fuming at the scene he is witnessing. "Die" he shouted and launched himself at them. "NO!" Kagome got up, she got her bow and arrow and shot at Inuyasha. He was so surprised that he didn't have time to avoid it. He was pinned to the tree. "Nighty night Inuyasha" Kagome whispered. She walked over to Sesshoumaru who looked up at her with amazed eyes. "wow! you have a great power." Kagome smiled at him. Using her Miko powers she restored Sesshoumaru's shoulder. "Arigatou kagome" sesshoumaru said. he hugged kagome and nuzzled her neck. Kagome was very happy .
Later on Kagome's friends awoke. "what happened Kagome?" Miroku asked. "Inuyasha is sleeping right now", she pointed to the tree she pinned him to. They looked at the sleeping form of Inuyasha. Sesshoumaru who was on top of the tree landed in front of Kagome. Kagome said "Sesshoumaru is joining our group is that ok?" every body nodded. And they were off on their journey again
