Night time XVIII

Inuyasha sat in his tree near Kaedes hut. He was contemplating the years after Naraku's destruction. Kagome had made a wish on the jewel but nobody knew what it was and they couldn't ask her either because the moment the wish had been made, she disappeared back to her time. The well closed off, never to be used as a time portal again. He missed Kagome, she had been his first friend. The one he learned to trust. She was the one who made him want more friends. And they got a few. Miroku, the perverted monk with a black hole in his hand, although it was gone now due to Naraku's death. Inuyasha smiled and saw his ass grabbing friend as he closed his eyes. Then there was Shippou, the little fox demon. That brat could be irritating to no end, but he liked the little fellow. Shippou had grown quite a bit since Kagome disappeared to her time. The first months after she had gone, Shippou was crying. Sango, the slayer, did her best to comfort the fox. Inuyasha knew that the strong woman was going to be the perfect mother to pups. He blushed a bit when he saw her wiggle around with a huge belly and a couple of silverhaired pups hanging in her kimono. "Hey what the fuck… where did that thought come from?" he cursed and jumped down from the tree.

He walked to Kaede's hut when he sniffed her delicious vegetable soup in the air. He knocked and entered it when he heard her old voice.

- Kaede-obaasan, I smell dinner, said Inuyasha with a small smile. He had been calling her grandmother for a few years now.

- Your nose never fails you, does it? chuckled the old miko.

- Only on my human nights.

- Not when it comes down to food Inu-chan.

Inuyasha blushed when she called him Inu-chan, but he did admit it felt good to have at least someone calling him so intimately.

- Tomorrow is the day for the anniversary. Is the Big House ready? asked Kaede and served her "grandson" a bowl of soup.

- Yes, it is. All that's missing is the people and the food, said Inuyasha.

- Good, is everyone coming?

- As far as I know, yes.

- That makes me happy. And I've a little game for us to play as well, said Kaede with a smug smile.

- What kind of game? asked Inuyasha.

- You'll see tomorrow. It'll be a surprise for you all.

Inuyasha shrugged, he didn't like the conspiratorial gleam in her eye. His grandmother was up to something, he was sure of it. When Shippou came running, sniffing the air and yelling about missing dinner, the moment was spoiled. The over active young kitsune babbled on about everything that he had done during the day and that he was really looking forward to meeting Rin in the morning. The two youngsters had become close friends and Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru often came together so the two could play. "Sesshoumaru, who would have known that you could be a good guy after all?" thought Inuyasha and smiled inwardly.

The rest of the evening went on uneventful and when the night came, Inuyasha jumped back up in his tree. He looked at the stars and yawned. He closed his eyes and was soon sleeping lightly. But his dreams plagued him again, wet dreams about a certain taijya and he awoke several times during the night with an aching boner. "Fuck, what the hell is wrong with me? She is my friend, she likes that hentai houshi even if can't keep his hands away from other women, she likes him - not me." He tried to will his erection away and managed to do it in the end.

* The Next Day *

Inuyasha was walking towards the Big House with Kaede and Shippou at his side, he was pulling a charter with a lot of food packed inside. The Big House was a house built to honour Kagome and Kikyo's defeat over Naraku. And once a year all their friends met up here to remember and to enjoy each others company. When the trio arrived, Sesshoumaru and his young ward Rin was already there. Inuyasha stopped in front of the porch and Kaede and Shippou began to take the food into the house. Rin came and helped as well. Sesshoumaru walked over to Inuyasha, on his lips played a ghost of a smile.

- Otouto, have you faired well since we saw each other the last time? asked Sesshoumaru politely.

- I have niisan. Some low level demons have been slain around our village but nothing serious has happened, said Inuyasha and found a place to sit down on the porch.

- You're not telling me the whole truth brother, said Sesshoumaru with an uncharacteristic frown on his forehead.

- It's nothing Sesshoumaru; I'm fine, said Inuyasha and blushed. His brother could probably smell his problems.

- I understand, but what I do not understand is, who could possible be the star of your dreams? Is it Kagome-sama? You know you can not have her, she is not returning here, ever.

- I know she is not returning niisan, but it's not her. I love her, but as a good friend and sister. And it's not her I've been dreaming about. But I don't want to talk about it so please, just stop ok.

- As you wish otouto, said Sesshoumaru with a smile and patted his brother's head.

Inuyasha growled but stopped when two wolfs entered the garden. Kouga and Ayame. They were mates now and by the way Ayame's belly was rounded, she was expecting cubs.

- Greetings Inuyasha, I hope we're not too late for the anniversary, said Ayame with a radiant smile.

- Not at all Ayame-chan, said Inuyasha. - So the wimpy wolf has finally come to his senses and pupped you?

- Yes he has, I'm due in a couple of months. Twins no less.

- So hands off mutt face, growled Kouga.

But there was no hostility between the two former rivals. Ayame went inside the house to help with the food. A loud thunder could be heard and a young girl landed in the garden.

- Souten-samaaaaa, cried a little red dragon as he was crushed under her feet. She had been riding his cloud form.

- Sorry, smiled the young girl and stepped away.

- Greetings Souten-chan, said Sesshoumaru and bowed to the girl who giggled.

- Greetings to you Sesshoumaru-sama, she answered and bowed as well.

- Rin and Shippou are inside the house, said Inuyasha and saw the sparkle inside her eyes as he said the fox's name. She had a thing for Shippou, perhaps even love. Who could know..?

- YAY!!shouted Souten and rushed into the house.

The small group outside laughed. Now there was only four more that was missing. Shiori and her mother and Miroku and Sango. But it didn't take them too long to appear. The young bat hanyou came running through the woods and threw herself at Inuyasha, hugging him tightly. Shiori's mother, Miaka, bowed to the demons, thanking them for inviting them to this anniversary. A loud slap echoed through the woods and was followed by a blood curling cursing; everyone knew that Miroku and Sango were coming. The celebrations could begin.

Inuyasha felt his cheeks flare up when he saw Sango come strolling towards him. She was smiling and she stretched out her arms and pulled the hanyou in for a heart warming hug.

- Hey Inuyasha, I've missed you, she whispered in his ear.

- Sango…. I've missed you too, said Inuyasha and blushed even more.

- Is everybody here?

- Yes, you and Miroku was the last to arrive.

- Well, we would've been here sooner if he could keep his hands in check, muttered Sango.

- He is still a pervert, he can't help it Sango, smiled Inuyasha.

- Now, let us celebrate.

Sango fired off a brilliant smile and took Inuyasha's hand and dragged him inside the house. She never noticed the odd look coming from both Sesshoumaru and Kouga.

They all sat down around the low table, eating and talking about old times. Everybody was smiling and laughs could be heard every now and then. This was the happiest time of the year for them all. Afterwards they moved away the table and they sat in a large ring.

Kaede - Inuyasha - Rin - Shippou - Miaka - Sesshoumaru - Ayame - Miroku - Souten - Kouga - Sango - Shiori.

Kaede cleared her throat and took a sip out of her rice wine. All the adults drank it while the youngsters were drinking juices from fruits.

- I thought we could play a little game, began old Kaede with a twinkle in her eye.

- A game Kaede-sama? grunted Sesshoumaru. - We are adults, we do not play games.

- My dear Sesshoumaru-sama, this is a game for everybody. It's called the Truth-game. If I ask you a question, you must answer me truthfully.

- And if I don't do it?

- Then you are expelled from the game. And since we have a truth-detector here this evening, we will know if anybody is lying, said Kaede and patted the little red dragon on its head. The dragon smiled affectionately to Kaede. - And remember, there are no such things as stupid questions in this game. If you are asked a question, you must answer it, how stupid it may be. Has everybody got it?

Everybody nodded. Kaede smiled again.

- Good, I begin asking, and I begin with Inuyasha, then Inuyasha gets to ask Rin and so forth.

Everybody nodded again. All the adults took deep sip from their rice wine, this game needed courage.

- Inuyasha, have you been dreaming of somebody to mate with? asked Kaede and looked at Inuyasha.

- Yes, I have, he answered truthfully but he was blushing. - Rin, why are you following Sesshoumaru?

- I love him, said young Rin with a toothy smile and Sesshoumaru was the one to blush lightly. - Shippou, why do you like being with Inuyasha-sama?

- Because I want him to be my daddy, said the fox with a small grin. - Miaka-san, if you could, would you like to live with us here in the village?

- Yes, that would be nice Shippou-chan, answered Miaka. - Sesshoumaru-sama, if I was gone, would you take my daughter to live with you?

Sesshoumaru's amber eyes widened.

- Yes, if that is what you wished Miaka-san, said Sesshoumaru. - Ayame-san, if Kouga had mated Kagome-san, what would you have done?

- Beaten him into a bloody pulp for giving up on me and then found me another mate, said Ayame with blazing green eyes. - Miroku-kun, is it possible that you could stop your infernal groping?

- Yes, said Miroku.

The little dragon flamed up and shouted - he's lying, he's lying. Miroku was out of the game.

- Ayame, you can ask Souten-chan a question, said Kaede and patted the dragon's head again.

- Souten-chan, do you like Shippou-chan? asked Ayame.

- Yes, he is cute, said the little thunder demon. - Kouga-kun, do you love Ayame-san?

- Yes I do, and it's a love that grows everyday, said the wolf with a warm smile. - Sango, have you consider to take a mate anytime soon?

- I… I have thought about it, stuttered Sango and shot a quick glance at Inuyasha and then she looked at the little white haired girl next to her. - Shiori-chan, would like to live with Sesshoumaru-sama?

- Yes, I would like that, but I wouldn't go there unless my mother was with me, piped the little bat hanyou. - Kaede-sama, do you see Inuyasha as a grandson?

- That I do young Shiori, that I do, said Kaede. - Inuyasha, who do you want as mate?

Inuyasha almost choked on the rice wine he was about to gulp down. He looked wildly at Kaede. Was she serious, no, she couldn't do this to him, could she? But she looked serious and he swallowed hard. His heart went into overdrive and was beating hard in his chest.

- Sango, he whispered and lowered his head, refusing to look at Sango at the moment, but he could feel her gaze penetrate his very soul. - Rin, do you see Sesshoumaru as your father?

- Yes, he is my daddy, giggled the young girl. - Shippou, do you miss Kagome-sama's noodles?

- Yes Rin, I do, said Shippou and looked between Inuyasha and Sango. Sango was looking at the hanyou with curious eyes. - Miaka-san, do you love anybody, you know… a man?

- Ehh, I…. No, I don't, she stuttered.

The dragon went up and called her a liar. She hung her head and left the circle. She settled down next to Miroku and he offered her more rice wine.

- Shippou-chan, ask Sesshoumaru-sama a question, said Kaede.

- Sesshoumaru-sama, do you see Rin-chan as your daughter? asked Shippou innocently.

- That I do, said Sesshoumaru and received a happy smile from Rin. - Ayame-san, do you think Kouga will be a good father to your pups?

- Yes, said Ayame.

The dragon told them otherwise. She moved from the circle. Obviously she didn't think that he would make a good father. Kouga looked a bit hurt and Ayame told him that he still was acting like a cub; therefore she didn't think he would be a good father.

- Sesshoumaru-sama, ask Souten-chan a question, said Kaede.

- Souten-san, will you ever move away from your mountains? Asked Sesshoumaru.

- Yes, if I will be offered a better place to stay, said Souten. - Kouga-kun, will you try and act like a father now?

- Yes I will Souten-chan, said Kouga with a smile towards Ayame. - Sango-san, have you ever thought of Miroku as husband-material?

- No, I have not, said Sango; glad that he didn't ask her who she thought was husband-material. - Shiori-chan, who do you think your mother is in love with?

- Sesshoumaru-sama, said Shiori and made her mother blush dark red. - Kaede-sama, why did you come up with this game?

- A very good question Shiori-chan. Because each and one of us is hiding things that should be out in the open and not something that we should deny ourselves, said Kaede. - Inuyasha, did you ever love my sister and Kagome-sama?

- Yes I did, but now I know that it was a friendly love, I didn't see them as possible mates, said Inuyasha truthfully. - Rin-chan, do you like Shiori-chan to be your sister?

- Yay, that would be fun, said Rin and looked at Shiori and the girls giggled. - Shippou-chan, since Kagome-sama is not here anymore, who do you see as your new mama?

- Sango, said Shippou with a blush and looked at the slayer who smiled gently at him. - Sesshoumaru-sama, do you find Miaka-san attractive.

Sesshoumaru eyed the young fox, he was too young to ask such questions. The demon lord looked at Miaka, she was a beautiful woman.

- Yes, she is very attractive, said Sesshoumaru. - Souten-chan, what would be a good place to live besides your mountains?

- Everywhere, if only Shippou is near, said Souten. - Kouga-kun, do you have names for the cubs?

- No, said Kouga. - Sango-san, do you want Inuyasha to be your mate?

Sango thought she was going to die on the spot. She refused to look him in the eyes as she shook her head. The dragon immediately went up and Sango removed herself from the ring. She went outside, wanting to get away from everything. She heard them continue the truth-game but she couldn't stay with them. It hurt too much to look at Inuyasha. Gods, how she loved that hanyou.

Sango walked over to the small waterfall that came over the cliffs. She washed her face, wanting to cool herself down a bit. "I hurt him. I could see that I hurt him. He thinks that I am ashamed over to be in love with him." she thought and it drove daggers into her heart. She was not ashamed, she had never been ashamed, but she was shy. Therefore she answered no. But it was stupid, the little dragon caught her and now Inuyasha knew that she wanted him, just as she knew that he wanted her. "Gods, he wants me?!!!" She turned around and walked back to the house.

When Sango came back there were only the children that still played the game. She smiled and then walked right over to Inuyasha. She grabbed his collar and pulled him up on his feet.

- S-sango? he stuttered.

- Shut up and kiss me Inuyasha, whispered Sango roughly.

The fire inside her dark green eyes made him take hold of the back of her head and he kissed her passionately. Kouga whistled but was smacked in the head by a scolding Ayame.

Inuyasha was swimming in happiness. He could feel her soft lips as they moved against his. Her tongue shyly moved into his mouth and he suckled the tip. Her body melted against his and all he could think of was bedding her right here on the spot. But when a loud whistle penetrated his lust filled mind he pulled away and looked at her. She smiled lovingly and he answered that smile with another kiss. Kaede clapped her hands and soon the young ones of the group began to make music.

Sesshoumaru gave Miaka his hand and asked if she wanted do dance with him. A blushing Miaka nodded and was pulled close to the stoic demon lord. He was acting way out of character, but he didn't care at the moment. He enjoyed the company of this group, especially Miaka's company. She was a fine woman and she was mentally strong. He had heard the stories about Shiori and her grandfather and everything around it.

Kouga began dancing with his mate Ayame and Miroku asked Kaede if she wanted to dance with him. Kaede nodded and was swept away by a swinging monk. Inuyasha cupped Sango's face.

- Sango, my love, would you like to dance with me? asked Inuyasha.

- Yes, yes Inuyasha, she said and hugged him tight as they began to move with the music.

- I have wished for this to happen for so long Sango-chan, but I thought you loved Miroku so I never said or showed that I loved you.

- Ohh, Inuyasha. I'm so sorry, and here I thought you were so miserable after Kagome-chan's disappearance that you never would love another woman again, said Sango as she was turned around to the music.

- But now we can be together, forever. Please say that you will be my mate.

- I will be your mate Inuyasha. Always.

He kissed her again and moved them closer and closer to the back door of the house. If he didn't have her soon, he was going to explode. Once they were out of sight he picked her up bridal style and jumped off into the woods.

Kaede saw them disappear and she looked at Miroku.

- Are you sad houshi-sama? she asked.

- No, I'm not. I'm happy for them, he said with a soft smile. - I've know for quite some time that Sango didn't love me, but another man. I just didn't know who he was until tonight. The game you came up with was a very good one Kaede-sama, you made many people happy tonight.

- Yes, even Miaka-san is smiling again. She always seemed so sad, but now she can't take her eyes away from Sesshoumaru. Inuyasha and Sango is not the only ones to have found each other tonight.

- I agree with you Kaede-sama, said Miroku. - Perhaps we should take the children and leave the adults to play by themselves?

- Always the hentai houshi-sama?

- Hmpf, not always.

Kaede smiled but nodded. They told Shippou, Rin, Shiori and Souten to come with them back to the village. And the children giggled and danced ahead towards the village.

Inuyasha took refuge in the God Tree. He found a large and wide branch and settled down gently. He sat down with his back against the tree trunk and he made Sango to sit between his legs as hers went over his thighs. He saw her blushing face and found it to be adorable. His thumbs caressed her cheeks and he leaned in to kiss her again. And when he felt her yielding, he couldn't help but growl softly. She pushed her pelvis against his and heard her gasp when she felt something hard poke through the red layer of his hakama.

- Inuyasha? asked Sango and looked confused.

- I'm sorry Sango-chan, you make me feel so…

Inuyasha couldn't get the words over his lips.

- Downright horny?

He sucked in his breath when he heard her, but then he nodded. It was the truth. She made him feel very hard and horny. Sango giggled and kissed him again. She was being straight forward, but then again, that was Sango for you. He could feel her fingers on his sash and soon she had managed to undress his upper body. Inuyasha silenced her with a deep kiss. He didn't want to hear anymore of it. He could feel her tears as he kissed her and he pulled away again.

- Sango-chan, each and everyone of your scar proves that you are a very strong woman who isn't afraid to fight for what is hers and for what she wants to protect. I love you Sango, with scars and all. Never think anything else, do you understand, said Inuyasha with a harsh voice.

- Inuyasha, cried Sango and buried her face in his neck, hugging him tightly.

- Shhh, it is ok my love. Shhh, he soothed her.

Sango could feel his hands remove her kimono and placed it behind her on the branch. She sat perfectly still in front of Inuyasha; she closed her eyes and waited for something to happen. She almost waited for him to get away from her now that he saw her body, covered in battle scars, but when she felt his lips kissing her throat and down to her left breast. Her eyes shot opened and she blushed. His hands were placed on her waist and she could feel his otherwise so lethal claws trickle her skin. He licked her nipple and then under her breast where her heart beat fast. He suckled the soft skin, enough to leave a small rosy mark.

Inuyasha felt Sango arch into his touch as his mouth wandered over to her right breast and gave it the same attention as her left one. Her skin radiated warmth and he could smell that honey flavoured scent of her arousal. Inuyasha could see the heated gaze Sango gave his body and he stood up and removed his baggy hakama and dropped it on the ground before he sat down again. Sango moved up to sit just like she had earlier, but this time there were no clothes that could prevent them from joining with each other.

- Are you ready Sango-chan? asked Inuyasha as he took hold of his flesh and pushed its tip between her nether lips.

- Yes Inuyasha, my love. I'm ready, said Sango and put her arms around his neck, her fingers tangled in his hair.

It didn't hurt as much as she thought it would. As her hand went inside his trousers she had felt that he was very well equipped and she was worried that he would hurt her. Sango's eyes rolled into the back of her head as he picked up the pace. - I'm sure you're right my love. And if you are not carrying a pup now, I'll make sure that you are pupped before springtime next year, chuckled Inuyasha and saw the dark blush on Sango's face. - You need to be loose some of that shyness of yours Sango-chan.

- Shh, not now. Now I just want to stay here with you, feeling you in me, said Sango with a small scowl on her face but he could see the shimmer in her eyes as she said it. She flexed her vaginal walls and heard him grunt in response.

- A teaser are you? I'll teach you not to tease your mate, growled Inuyasha.

Sango giggled and tried to melt into his body. The night air began to feel a bit chilly. Inuyasha felt this and he grabbed their clothes that was still in the tree and threw them on the ground before following them down. When he landed on the ground he heard Sango whimper, his shaft was still deep inside her and the impact with the ground had touched something inside her body.

- Did it hurt Sango?

- No, no, it felt good, she said.

Inuyasha smiled and moved to sit next to the God Tree. He covered them with his haori and her kimono and tucked her body close to his. She was tired, and so was he. Once they had rested he would take her again, and again, and again. She was going to experience a week with a hanyou that had an enormous stamina. He wondered for a few seconds if he should tell her, but he didn't. He didn't want to scare her off. He heard her light snoozing sound and he knew that she was asleep and soon he followed her after he had made sure that there were no threats around them.
