InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Nightmare ❯ Forceful enter ( Chapter 4 )

Hitoma traveled along a path to find her enemy seeking Sango all her thoughts bent on fulling her master's wishes. The forces of him bind her and with no will of her own follows the nightmare. Moving fast, she held her weapons a copy of the tetsiuga and a large boomerang, she is more than a copy of Sango no something more.

A light broke through the cracks in the huts roof. Inu-Yasha spoke of what he saw to the others. "The…horror…" Inu-Yasha fear held him back from continuing. Kagome felt his forehead thinking he had a fever. "Inu-Yasha, how could something scare you like this. Was it Naraku…no you wouldn't be this scared." Kagome said hoping to get Inu-Yasha too talk about it. Miroku felt a present of an evil and understood the fear of his friend.

"It is as if he is having a nightmare…a bad one that is driving him mad." Miroku got up and walked outside to watch for their enemies. The day was dieing it was dust and the sky was filled with red.

The castle had been emptied nothing remained alive but Naraku himself. Nightmare had killed off most of the people within the castle and left it in ruin. The great power moved through still in the disguise of Kagura. Naraku had little idea of what approach, it seemed only to be one of his spawn gone wild.

"Kagura how many times before have you tried this? None the less do not forget who holds your heart." Naraku said then squeazing a black orb; it had no effect on Nightmare. "Fool I am free of you. Die fool." The last words Naraku heard from the mouth of Nightmare. Afterwards Nightmare left the castle transformed to his true appearance. "This place shall fall, but the curses of Naraku shall stay."

Hitoma finally came to the hut and threw her boomerang at it. Miroku was surprised and attempted to use his wind tunnel on Hitoma. "Sango…no I can't be! A trick by Naraku!" He opened the wind tunnel but to his surprise Hitoma just stood there unaffected by it. "That isn't to smart I have your energies in me like my master does. I'm here to kill Inu-Yasha to make my master proud and to in cage the half-demons soul."
