My first fanfic was pretty bad so i decided to try again......i hope its better this time!
His eyes popped open and he looked around trying to figure out what was going on. 'Why do i have this uneasy feeling and why is Kagome crying? She is still sleeping. Wha....' His thoughts were intreupted when Kagome let out a scream and woke up. He watched her look around the camp fire to she if she woke anyone. She quietly stood and looked over at him, checking to make sure he was asleep before she took off the spring,grabbing her backpack on the way. He stood and jumped in to the tree to follow her, mentally cursing her about leaving during the night and all by herself too. When she reached the spring she took her clothes and slid into the water, "ahhh this should help." She ired to relax and forget the nightmare she just had, but the more she relaxed the more she remembered.....
THE DREAM:
She was running through the forest trying to get away from her, she had be in the forest collecting herbs for Keade. She was heading back to the village when she heard a cry for help. She ran towards the cry and come upon Kikyo. She was sitting under a tree with her soul collectors all around her. Kagome approached her to see if she needed help, when Kikyo stood and pointed an arrow towards her with the look of hate in her eyes. "How dare you try and take Inuyasha away from me! He is mine and he will go to hell with me!" Kagome turned and took off running, zig zaging every where haveing no idea where she was going and how she was going to get away. "How dare you take my soul, i want it back, so you MUST DIE!" Kagome started crying and trying to figure out how to get away, suddenly she felt a dull pain in her ankle. She looked down and saw that she had been clipped by something and was bleeding all over the place. She pushed her self forward, senseing that Kikyo was getting closer. She was grabbed from behind and when she turned she saw that it was Naraku. His evil smile made her cringe and when she tired to scream her throat closed up and she could barely breathe. "Like my new trick Miko? Don't scream and you can breath"She nodded her head trying to think of a way out of his grasp. Kagome heard someone coming and turned to come face to face with Kikyo, "My part of the deal is finished now what about yours?" Naraku turned and grabbed her by the throat, "Die bitch", as he choked her. Next he turned to Kagome, she let out a blood curdling scream and blacked out.
She jumped when she heard herself scream again, just at the thought of the dream. She layed her head back on a rock and looked up at the stars. "I wish that he would have saved me", she sighed. Little did she know her protector was up in the tree behind her trying to figure out what was going on and asking himself if he should jump down and ask her. Her saw her jump when a mouse came running out of the brush. He quietly jumped out of the tree and landed with a small thump. She turned around scared out of her mind. When she saw who it was she forgot everything and jumped up and ran to him crying. He put his arms around her and let her cry still not understanding why she was in the first place. "What's wrong Kagome, you screamed and then took off to the spring. Are you ok? What's going on?" She sniffed and looked up at him, " I had a nitemare that felt so real, and it scared me. I am sorry Inuyasha I know that I am not supposed to leave camp at night but i had to relax." She looked down and let out a small,"EEP!" She pulled away from him and tookoff to behind a tree, "ummm Inuyasha can you hand me my backpack please?" He looked confussed at first,but then he relized what was going on. "feh." But when he turned around he smiled and handed it to her. After she got dressed he picked her and the backpack up and took them back to camp. But instead of putting both her and the backpack down he put the back pack down and wrapped his arm tighter around his waist. He lifted her up and jumped up into the tree where he had been sleeping. He pulled her back to his chest, placed his arms loosely around her waist and they fell asleep together. The next morning they awoke to Songo freaking out,"Where is Kagome? Did a demon steal her during the night?" Miroku was trying to tell her that she was in the tree with Inuyasha, "Songo, Songo, calm down and look up." Songo stopped looked at Miroku and then up in the tree to see Kagome giggling and Inuyasha trying not to laugh as well. "Kagome I was so worried, what are you doing up there?" Inuyasha gently put Kagome on the ground and went off to look for food. "Songo calm cown, I had a nightmare and took off to the spring he followed me and made sure I was safe, and took care of my fears." Seeing that Songo wanted details Kagome looked at Miroku, "we are going to the spring, can you please wake Shippou and have him collect wood?" Miroku nodded. Kagome took her bathing stuff out of her bag grabbed Songo's arm and headed off to the spring. When they got there Songo pointed to a pile of clothes, "aren't those yours?" Kagome looked, " yes they are, I am glad you found them, thank you Songo." They slipped into the water and Kagome explained what happened, and told her about the dream. "It felt so real I think I even have a cut where i got hit on the ankle. She pulled her foot out ofthe water and pointed to the cut, "see it is there, Songo don't tell Inuyasha but I think we may have a problem." Songo looked at the cut,"its fresh but how did he not smell the blood?" Kagome started to look worried," I don't know I think that is what worries me the most, I may be in danger and he may not be able to help me out of it." She looked so worried that Songo got up and moved next to her, "its ok, don't worry about it, they are just dreams." They finished bathing and went back to camp to cook breakfast, unaware that someone was watching them. "Soon my dear, soon",he hissed.
Please don't hurt me if its not good......
My lawers keep telling me i have to say this so here goes.........*clears throat* I don't own Inuyasha or any things related to him. *glares at lawyers* But i will someday....*watches lawyers call the needle man* NOOOOOOOOOO! I am not crazy! Not the needle! *runs far away*
