Looking down at the tombstone, I feel tears start to well up," Mother, Father...I will keep the promise you once made.." I turn away with Aerylis in tow. Her silver hair the complete opposite of my brown tresses. At the young age of 18, we experienced a great loss. Our parents, Seto and Kim Kaiba, were brutally murdered, by none other then a nameless person after the company our father owned. Kaiba Corp. was passed down to us, in the hopes of being kept alive.( Guess who killed us!!!, One hint..It's someone I didn't get to kill previously) Sighing softly, I look over to Aerylis," You ok sis?".." Yes" Is the only reply I get. Aerylis appears to have gotten father's quiet demeanor, while I seem to have all the qualities of mother.

~~Flashback~~~

Reika's P.o.V

I remember coming home after school, only to find blood everywhere. Growing frantic I begin to search the house...Only to find my parent's bodies, nothing but a bloody mess..

That scene replays over and over in my mind..Horrible..so horrible..We finally reach home, tears already falling as I grasp Aerylis's hand. We enter the main doorway, moving towards the living room as I take a seat upon the couch, closing my eyes as Aerylis sets herself down in a rather large chair.

~~Aerylis's P.o.V~~

Looking over at my sister, I feel a large sense of guilt welling up inside myself. Sighing, I push a few strands of silver hair out of my ice blue eyes, my gaze drifting to some pictures hanging up around the room we were in.{ I'm not being vain, I'm just setting the scene for something else to happen, Ch00 l00sers.) My mother and father, both dressed up..Father wearing a deep blue suit, mother wearing a deep crimson dress. They both looked so..happy, so..carefree..Why!? Why did it have to be them..?

~~Flashback~~

Aerylis's P.o.V

(This was hard, just let me tell you..)

The funeral had more people in it then I had expected. Maxine and InuYasha were there, along with Meg and Jack, followed by Sarah and Will. Tears begin to fill their views as the preacher began to speak. A while after he stopped, asking if anyone had any last words they would like to share. All six of them stood up and the sight would of been comical if not under the circumstances. Maxine and InuYasha went first, holding hands, as if trying to take away anything the other might be feeling. Maxine looks around, speaking first, her voice strained, trying not to crack," Kim, you were my big sister, through everything..through mother's and horrible times..through bruised ribs and broken spirits..Seto..you were the calm one, out of us all..you tried your hardest to make everyone remotely happy...We will miss you".She looks away, tears falling silently. InuYasha nods, taking his cue to speak," Kim and Seto..were odd..But I will miss them". He glances around not knowing what else to say, seeing as he isn't much of a professional speaker and all(..Eheheh, <3) He squeezes her hand once more, them both walking back to their spot.

Sarah and Will were next, taking the spot the Maxine and InuYasha previously occupied." Kim..and Seto, will be remembered in our hearts, they always had a comforting word and a smile, trying to make everyone happy, and to think..I used to get onto Kim..for swearing.." She looks away, tears falling as Will speaks up, holding Sarah close," They were great people..and wonderful friends..{Just to let you guys know..this is uber really hard..>.<}

Sarah and will move back to their spot as Meg and jack stand up. They also walk to where sarah and Will were as Jack whisper's comforting words to meg as she nods," Kim, seto..You guys were the closet thing to family we all had..things happen so fast.." At this she glances towards my sister and I. " I will never forget when we all dressed up as pirates, nor when we beat the hell out of my horrible cousin Rachel"..At the mention of this, a small smirk appears across Maxine's face, it quickly hidden as she focuses back upon Meg. Meg looks around the room, shaking her head as tears fall quickly, Jack speaking up as he holds onto her hand tightly," Lass, Seto..Ye will truly be missed..We drank rum, told stories..and had families together..I will miss ye.." They move back next to Maxine and InuYasha as the funeral begins to wrap up.

~~Outside~~

Aerylis's P.o.V Still

Everyone began moving out, going their sperate ways, each wearing a pale face and tears in their eyes..Suddenly, a voice speaks up, one that I had hoped to never hear again in my life.." Ah, poor Kaiba-boy and his wife.."

Mwahahahaha, I'll leave the rest up to you guys to figure out who it is, though..I bet you already know and such, Cliffhanger's! Mwahaha, Serves you all write and such, and..I know, it looks a bit short, but..You shall all deal with it!
