Chapter 15

There's Nothing Like You and I Baby, This is No Ordinary Love

InuYasha cried deeply, like his heart was broken, for over an hour. Kagome's hair, his hair, and the sheets around his head were soaked. His chest was wet from Kagome's tears. When he finally fell asleep, exhausted, Kagome cautiously got up and found a sheet to cover him with, and then wearily climbed in next to him. She snuggled against his side, her leg thrown over his, her arm across his chest and head on his shoulder. After what he had been through, she felt the need to keep in as much physical contact with him as possible, so he knew he was loved and not alone.

Two hours later, InuYasha woke up. He felt so strange. All that crying combined with the massage had left him feeling weak, but relaxed and oddly calm. Kagome still lay sleeping against him, and he gently pushed the hair out of her face, and then raised her hand to his lips, giving her fingers a tender kiss. Briefly she stirred, then sighed and went back to sleep. He did not want to disturb her, but he felt a need to be off by himself for a while and think about what had just happened. Carefully, he slipped out from where she clasped him, and she resettled on the bed in her sleep.

When he was dressed, he left the room quietly. On the porch of the house, Masahiro sat meditating. InuYasha looked at him and frowned, then jumped down.

“How was your massage?” said Masahiro.

Startled, the hanyou turned around.

“I don't know what those texts told Kagome to do, monk,” he said, “but I don't know if I ever want her doing that again.”

“Ah, I take it she tried to stop your orgasm by applying pressure to your sacred spot,” said Masahiro.

“Is that was she was doing?” InuYasha snorted. “Could have fooled me.”

“When a man first receives pressure on his sacred spot, it can bring about a strong emotional response,” Masahiro replied. “Most likely you will not experience anything as strong as that again.”

“Glad to hear it,” InuYasha said sourly. “Tell Kagome when she wakes that I went for a walk.”

“I will have her come get you for lunch,” Masahiro said. “So don't stray far.”

“No need to worry about that,” InuYasha snapped. “When Kagome comes to look for me, I'll find her.”
InuYasha turned away from the monk and headed away from the house, towards the forest. He barely noticed the stares and whispers of the workers in the fields who looked up at him as he walked past.

When he got to the forest, InuYasha leaped on a tree branch and with a heavy sigh, leaned back against the tree. It felt like the hard, tight knot of anger that had lived inside him so long, had loosened. Instead, it had become an outer shell over an inner…something. He was so unfamiliar with the feeling, he could not put a name to it, and it made him uncomfortable. It was like he was a stranger in his own skin. He scowled, trying to bring his anger back into the hard, yet molten thing he was familiar with, but it stubbornly remained fragmented. With a growl of frustration, he leaped out of the tree, taking the fragments of his anger and slicing at the tree bark with his claws.

`Who am I without my anger?' he thought. `How can I protect and defend Kagome and my friends without it? I refuse to give it up completely! I will find a way to preserve it and still be able to do what Kagome needs of me…I must!'

InuYasha threw himself against the tree, snarling, and buried his claws deep in it. This had to be the result of that sacred spot thing she did to him, making him cry like he never had before in his life.

`How embarrassing to cry like that in front of Kagome,' he thought. `She's going to think I'm weak.'

Then he remembered the way she held him as he cried. She had not castigated him. On the contrary, he vaguely remembered her tears as they fell on his chest. `Gods, she's always crying for me, and I know it's my pain that's causing it.'

The words she said to him only a few days ago rang in his head. `I love you InuYasha, so deeply you could never guess.' Crazy wench, saying something like that, but then as now, her words rang true. For some unfathomable reason, she loved and accepted him with an intensity that was breathtaking to him.

“InuYasha?”

Startled, he looked up at the sound of her soft, sweet voice saying his name. How had he let her sneak up on him like that? And how had she found him so easily? He spun around to look at her.

“Kagome, how the hell did you sneak up on me like that?” he said, “And how the hell did you even find me?”

“Well, I knew you would be in the forest, and…” she looked pensive a moment, “my heart told me where to find you.”

“Your heart?” he said quizzically.

“I can't explain it any other way,” she said. “It just led me to you.”

“Hmph,” said InuYasha. “Must have something to do with your new powers.”

Kagome shrugged.

“I guess,” she said, and moved closer to him, laying her hand on his arm and gazing into his eyes.

“How are you feeling?” she asked.

InuYasha growled in aggravation and frustration, and his first instinct was to pull his arm away from her. But for some reason, he didn't.

“Masahiro explained to me that the reason that happened to me was because of that sacred spot thing you did,” he said.

Kagome flushed, her eyes down cast.

“I'm sorry InuYasha, I had no idea you would have such a strong reaction,” she said softly.

“Yeah, well, let's not repeat it, huh?” he said, and put his arm around her shoulder, leading her out of the forest.

As they walked back, Kagome leaned into him and he slid his arm down so it was around her waist and held her tightly to him. They did not speak as they walked, just enjoyed the closeness of their bond of love. In a short amount of time, their love for one another had become so strong, words were not necessary to express it anymore.

Kagome wondered about something Masahiro said about a strong karmic bond, as she nestled into InuYasha's side while they walked. Was this the reason their love was so deep and all-consuming? What was a karmic bond anyway? She would have to file these questions away to ask Masahiro later.

They joined Masahiro on the porch, and sat down to eat. InuYasha was glad no one brought up his crying again when they were all together. It just made him feel uncomfortable, and he would sooner forget about it. Although knowing Kagome, she never forgot anything, and she might want to talk to him about it again later.

“Now then,” said Masahiro after the meal was over. “Are you two ready to do some work on your chakras, especially Kagome's?”

“There will be no more of this sacred spot business involved in it, will there?” InuYasha growled darkly.

“Not at all, young hanyou, not at all,” said Masahiro. “Let me get something to help explain things to you first.”

Masahiro went in the house and returned with a scroll. He unrolled it for them to see. It had a picture on it of a human figure with seven circles on it, beginning at the genitals and ending at the head.

“This,” said Masahiro, pointing to the circle on the genitals, “is the first chakra, known as Muladhara. It is the chakra of life, and is assigned the color red and the element of Earth.”

Next, he pointed to the circle above it, located between the naval and the groin area.

“This chakra is Swadhisthana. It is associated with emotion and sexuality. Its color is orange and its element Water.”

Moving up, he pointed to the circle on the abdomen, below the ribcage.

“Manipura is the chakra associated with control and anger, as well as self-esteem and ego. Its color is yellow, like the radiance of the sun.”

Masahiro looked up at InuYasha.

“When there is too much energy in Manipura, one becomes bossy and controlling,” Masahiro said. “I believe, young hanyou, that you need to work on this one within yourself.”

InuYasha snarled, but subsided at a look from Kagome.

“Anahata,” said Masahiro, pointing to the circle on the chest, near the heart, “is the chakra of love and happiness. Its color is green and symbolizes growth. When your Anahata is unbalanced, jealousy is the result.”

“Gee, InuYasha,” said Kagome, smiling a little, “we should work on that chakra of yours too.”

InuYasha frowned and glared at her, crossing his arms.

“Feh!” was InuYasha's only response.

“Vishuddha,” said Masahiro, pointing to the circle at the base of the throat, “is the chakra of communication and self-expression. Its color is blue. An under-active Vishuddha chakra means you are timid and don't speak up. If it is over-active, the opposite is true, and tends to make one a person who never stops talking.”

“Hey, Kagome,” said InuYasha, “that one needs work on you - you never shut up.”

Kagome flushed, narrowed her eyes at him and stuck out her tongue. InuYasha gave a bark of laughter.

“Then we come to Ajna,” said Masahiro, pointing to the circle on the middle of the forehead, “this chakra is known as the `third eye' and represents intuition and enlightenment. Its color is indigo. I believe this to be a very important chakra to clear in Kagome, as it relates to her psychic sensitivity.”

“Last we have the chakra known as the crown chakra,” Masahiro said, pointing to the circle on the top of the head. “It connects you to a higher power. Its color is white. Ultimately, your power must be able to radiate out of this chakra, Kagome, in order for there to be no dangerous backflow of energy released from your kundalini.”

Masahiro put down the picture, and pulled two more scrolls out of his robes.

“These are instructions for you and InuYasha to follow to clear your chakras and attune your chakras to one another,” he said, handing them to Kagome.

“Thank you,” she said as she took them from him. “Come on, InuYasha, there is no time like the present.”

“And may I make one more suggestion?” said Masahiro.

Kagome smiled and nodded.

“Do you know the Sun Salutation?” he said.

“Oh, yes. I learned it in school,” Kagome replied.

“Then I suggest you teach it to InuYasha and do it a few times before you start work on your chakras,” said Masahiro.

“Sounds great!” Kagome replied brightly.

Kagome stood up and went over to InuYasha, reaching out her hand to pull him up. They went into their room, Kagome reading the scrolls as they walked there.

“Okay,” said Kagome, putting the scrolls down on the table, “strip.”

“What?!” said InuYasha. “Again?!”

“Silly!” said Kagome with a laugh as she lifted off her blouse. “We both have to be naked to do chakra work, not just you.”

Temporarily mollified, he did as she asked. When they were both undressed, Kagome came and stood in front of him.

“Now, I'm going to show you a yoga exercise known as the sun salutation,” Kagome said. “I will do it once to show you, then you do it with me.”

InuYasha crossed his arms and watched skeptically as she bent and stretched in the poses that made up the sun salutation.

“There,” she said when she was finished. “Now it's your turn to do it with me.”

“You want me to do that?” he said derisively.

“What, don't think you can do it?” she said, leaning towards him, hands on hips.

“I didn't say that, wench,” he replied peevishly. “It just looks stupid is all.”

“Stupid or not, I want you to show me you can do it.” Kagome said.

Grudgingly, InuYasha acquiesced, and they did the movements together. Kagome was pleased that he did them perfectly - he even had the breathing right. They went through the sun salutation twice more before Kagome decided that they could move on.

“The first thing we are going to do is open each others chakras,” she said. “We will give each other a chakra massage.”

“Massage?!” InuYasha groaned.

Kagome rolled her eyes.

“It's got nothing to do with that massage I gave you earlier, I assure you,” she said. “Here, you do me first.”

Kagome put a picture like the one Masahiro had shown them earlier on the table next to the bed, and went and lay down on her back.

“Start at my lowest chakra, and work your way up,” she instructed.

“Umm, where exactly is that?” he said.

Kagome spread her legs, and pointed in a circle starting at her perineum and going around her pubic region.

“You sure you want me to do this, huh?” he said.

“Yes, just please be careful of your claws,” she replied.

Gently and carefully, he started to massage her, and slowly worked his way up her chakras as she told him where to go.

“Mmm, that was nice,” said Kagome when he was finished. “Now it's your turn.”

With a little trepidation, he lay down and let Kagome massage his chakras. When she was finished and nothing untoward had happened, he breathed a sigh of relief.

“Now we will do chakra spooning, to synchronize our chakras,” Kagome said.

Kagome lay down on her side, and instructed InuYasha to lie behind her and spoon her. She took his hand and placed it on her first chakra, between her legs.

“I'm going to set a pattern of deep breathing, and I want you to match it,” Kagome said. “You must visualize with me our breaths drawing energy into our chakras and swirling together. When I am ready, I will move your hand to each succeeding chakra until we have done them all.”

InuYasha put his hand between Kagome's legs, and she started doing deep, belly breathing. Hesitantly at first, he started to breathe deeper, but soon having her naked warmth and sweetness nestled up against him was enough for him to be able to match her breaths. Slowly, they worked together, until they had gone through all the chakras. When they were done, they felt refreshed and energized. InuYasha was also feeling something else, which Kagome had been trying to ignore as it got harder and poked her in the back.

“That was really good, wasn't it?” Kagome said, turning to look over her shoulder at him.

“I can think of something even better,” he said, smiling wickedly, and kissed her, rolling her body underneath his.

They kissed deeply, slowly and sensuously for a few minutes. Then InuYasha nibbled on her earlobe and neck, before going to her breasts and wrapping his tongue around her nipples, making her gasp as the erotic charge filled her. He kissed down her tummy, and licked the line of her hips, making her shiver. The scent of her arousal spiked, making him groan with need. Drawn by her scent, his tongue dove into her curls, aware from their previous times together how much she enjoyed the feel of his tongue down there. He licked her hard, spending extra attention on her clitoris, and soon she arched her back and screamed as she came. With a growl of triumph, he raised himself up and sheathed himself in her.

“InuYasha!” Kagome gasped. “Open your eyes and look into mine as you make love to me. Masahiro says keeping eye contact is a very important element of Tantric sex.”

InuYasha locked his great, expressive golden eyes with her beautiful loving dark ones, as he thrust in and out of her. It had a strange effect of slowing down his pace. This made Kagome's orgasm have an excruciating and intense build-up, and she became flushed and sweaty, before her orgasm hit her like a supernova. Her scream of release was practically a howl, and her sheath constricted on InuYasha spasmodically, sending him over the edge, and he roared in the throes of his own orgasm.

Around them, the blue halo blazed to life, but it did not last long. Soon it went from blue to white, and they were in the center of a huge ball of blazing white energy. They lay panting, looking in awe at the power that surrounded them, when suddenly InuYasha's nose twitched.

“Umm, Kagome? I smell something burning,” he said.

But they could not see outside the ball of white energy that engulfed them. Suddenly, they heard the door open, and the energy winked out, leaving them to see that the silk hanging over their heads was on fire.

“Children!” said Masahiro sternly. “You should not be engaging in sex so recklessly! You've lit your room on fire!”

They looked over at him just as he threw a bucket of water. It hit them square in their faces, as well as putting out the fire. InuYasha spit out a mouth full of water over the side of the bed and collapsed on top of Kagome.

“This is just great,” he said sarcastically, his head over her shoulder.
