Chapter 29

I Gave You All I Had Inside and You Took My Love

When Miroku and Sango exited the room, they found Kagome, InuYasha and Masahiro sitting on the floor in the main room. InuYasha had a shit-eating grin on his face as he looked at them, and Kagome was shooting daggers at him with her eyes.

“Don't you dare say anything, InuYasha,” Kagome said in a dangerous tone of voice.

“Oh yeah?” said InuYasha, feeling cocky. “Or you'll do what?”

The edges of Kagome's lips twitched up, and then she briefly closed her eyes. InuYasha gasped and his face turned as red as his fire-rat as a tent started to appear in his hakama. But Kagome wasn't finished. She visualized herself taking a nip at the head of his cock. InuYasha yelped and grabbed his crotch, bending over in surprise.

Miroku and Sango looked at them in astonishment. They were still not clued in to this new twist to the pair's powers over each other. Kagome snickered a moment behind her hand then looked up at them and shrugged.

“Masahiro says I should lay off using the subjugation spell,” said Kagome. “But I've found something else that's just as effective and much more fun.”

“Just you wait Kagome…” InuYasha groaned.

“A-hem,” said Masahiro. “It's time to get serious now, children.”

Masahiro turned and looked mildly up at Miroku and Sango.

“If you would please have a seat with us,” he said, gesturing for them to sit down.

As Miroku and Sango made themselves comfortable on the floor, Masahiro continued, “I have heard that the four of you work well together, and very smoothly as a fighting unit.”

Kagome, Miroku and Sango smiled at his words. InuYasha was still recovering, slowly sitting up and holding his crotch while giving Kagome an `I'm-going-to-get-you-later' look.

“Now, I would like to guide you four in learning to breath in sync with each other as you meditate,” said Masahiro, “and then we will do some group visualizations.”

InuYasha smirked, but Masahiro caught him doing it.

“No more games from you two, either,” Masahiro said sternly, and gave InuYasha a meaningful look.

The hanyou sneered but subsided.
“Hey, Miroku, did you see that?” whispered Sango, leaning towards him.

“Yes, and I can hardly believe it,” said Miroku. “Where's the nasty response? Our old InuYasha would have handed him his head by now.”

“I heard that, Miroku,” said InuYasha. “Just because I've learned to control my anger doesn't mean you won't get it later.”

Masahiro shook his head and closed his eyes in exasperation. The dynamics in this group were obviously going to take some work. He looked beseechingly at Kagome, the only one who seemed to be paying attention at the moment. The young miko rolled her eyes and gave him a wry smile.

“Come on guys,” she said. “Let's not waste the good monk's time.”

Finally, the four of them settled down and assumed the lotus position. They closed their eyes and Masahiro guided their breathing, until all four of them were freely breathing together on their own. Then he gave them a mantra to chant together to clear their minds.

“Now, Kagome is your Shakti, your goddess,” said Masahiro. “You must visualize yourselves transferring your power to her, your kundalini. Feel it inside you, at the base of your spine. See it flowing outward towards her.”

As Masahiro watched, transference of energy occurred between InuYasha and Kagome. A blue aura sparked around the hanyou, and then flowed outward towards the miko. Kagome then briefly emitted a halo of white light, and then it was gone.

Very interesting, he thought. But as I suspected, Miroku and Sango cannot take part in this energy phenomenon until they have fully merged their kundalini with Kagome and InuYasha. But first things first

“Okay everyone,” said Masahiro. “This exercise is over. Please all come back to my attention.”

Slowly, the four of them opened their eyes, blinked a few times, and stretched. Masahiro waited patiently until they were all focused on him again.

“The next thing you all should work on is clearing your chakras and swirling them together with each other,” said Masahiro.

Kagome and InuYasha both got pink spots on their cheeks and gave each other meaningful looks.

“Do you mean all four of us doing it at the same time?” asked Kagome, biting her lip.

“That would be ideal, yes,” Masahiro said calmly.

“Can someone explain to me what this is all about?” said Sango, watching the expressions on Kagome and InuYasha's faces with rising alarm.

As Masahiro explained to Sango the method that Kagome and InuYasha had used when they did chakra work, Sango started shaking her head until by the end she just put her face in her hands.

“I don't think I'm ready for that yet,” she said, her voice muffled.

“Hmmm…” said Masahiro thoughtfully, raising his hand to stroke his chin in thought. “Then why don't you start this way first; clear and merge your chakras alone with Miroku, and then do the same alone with Kagome.”

“And what am I supposed to do?” said InuYasha, feeling left out.

“Stay out of it,” said Masahiro flatly. “And I mean it, young hanyou. Let's not forget the burnt wall hanging in the room. You may have gained some control, but you obviously take it upon yourself to decide when to use it. This is not always to everyone's benefit.”

“Feh!” said InuYasha, and jumped up angrily. “Fine, I'll leave you to it - see if I care.”

InuYasha stormed out of the house, ignoring the dismayed voice of Kagome as she called his name. Jumping off the porch he headed for the forest, and then he had an idea suddenly go off like a flash of light in his mind. A wicked gleam came to his eye, and he turned around and made a stealthy approach to the house. This would be fun…
