Lady of Death: Hey people I’m here with an interesting story, I hope that you like it.

A girl hurried around the lab wearing a white lab coat, safety goggles, and latex gloves, her black and blood red hair that hung just past her ass was tied back in a low pony tai, leaving her face open and scars visible. One ran from her left eyebrow across her nose and down her cheek to her jaw, the other went from her right temple to the corner of her mouth. Even though she was only 18, she was one of the best investigators the lab had, other than her partner. The tall silver haired man known as the Ice Prince, but just as every prince had their princess, so did the Ice Prince. The mans partner was known as the Ice Princess not only for her working with him but her cold and emotionless demeanor just as his.

Her black and blood colored fox ears swiveled around to the door where her partner in solving crime was walking in and slipping a white lab coat on over his fishnet shirt. They were aloud to wear what they wished since with out them the lab wouldn’t get quite as far with most of the cases that they were given. As CSIs they saw some rather gruesome cases like the one they were working on now.

“How are those tests coming?” the silver haired man asked pulling his long hair back behind his pointed ears.

“The first set is done, the results are in the printer.” she answered looking into a microscope.

“I’m guessing these are the original results Atokata.” he said looking up at her from the results.

“Yah, we need to change them…”

“We wouldn’t want you to be caught, now would we.” he smirked slightly at her.

“Sesshomaru, I am not going to be caught now, I have been doing this for two years already.” Atokata said printing the other results out.

“I’ll get to work on them, you go see Songo about our little friend in the morgue.” Said Sesshomaru as he began to work on clearing her name from the case.

Atokata walked out of the lab leaving the coat, goggles, and gloves behind revealing her black kimono style top that tied in the back and ended just above her belly button. She also wore a floor length skirt with high thigh high slits and knee high boots. Her long black and blood tipped tail just reached the floor flowing behind her as she walked.

Walking into the morgue she saw the body laying on the examining table with Songo looking over it. Her long dark brown hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, she wore a long white coat and gloves.

Atokata walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder lightly.

“Agh!!!” Songo jumped spinning around breathing heavily and leaning against the table “Goddamn it Atokata, you scared the shit out of me!”

Atokata only smirked and walked around to the other side of the table.

“So, what have we learned about our little friend here?” She asked her face carefully blank.

“Well, his name is Takeo Mckenna, his, well shall we say, unmentionables we sliced off with a dulled object. I found these fragments in the wound.” Songo handed Atokata a dish of a blood covered substance.

“Ill have these checked out and get back to you. Now, what exactly killed him?” Atokata asked taking the dish though she already knew the answer.

“Well if you come over here I have some pictures of his back for you to see.” Songo walked over to another table.

Atokata walked over behind her and looked at the photos that were on the table. The photos were of the mans back that had irregular slices along in each into his spine.

“Each of these slices prevented a different part of his body from working.” Songo said and motioned to a different slice at each body part “The legs, intestine, lungs, arms, and finally, the heart. Another thing interesting about his death is that all his internal organs have been removed, including the brain.”

“So they began the mummification process, but never finished it.” Atokata stated.

“Yes, they also had to have extensive knowledge of the human body to be able to do these things to him.”

“So look for doctors, nurses, and scientists?” she asked

“Yes, most diffidently, and don’t forget to let me know what that is there.” Songo turned going back to another body to examine.

She walked back to the lab with the fragments with her. She slipped the lab coat back on setting the dish on the counter and began to figure out what the substance was. Sesshomaru was also just finishing up clearing her name from the case.

After nearly an hour no one was the wiser that Atokata had been the suspected killer.

“Well, now that your clear, lets see who did it this time shall we.” Sesshomaru said with the cold emotionless voice that earned him the nickname of Ice Prince.

“Lets get going and figure this thing out then.” She said going to work on the evidence.

“Oh, Icy ones, we got a lead on this case of yours.” Said the boss from the hall.

They looked at each other slightly curiously and walked out after the boss to see who or what this lead was. The lead was a girl with shoulder length blonde and black hair, pointed ears, two tails that were blonde with black tips. She wore a black tank top with a burning bleeding rose on it and a black mid thigh skirt with ribbons on each thigh and calf high boots. Her silver and red flecked eyes were surprisingly shy and fearful with her black diamond marking on her forehead.

Atokata held out her hand to the girl, “I am Atokata Hitokiri.”

“Kilala Jensen.” said the girl shaking Atokata’s hand.

“This is my partner Sesshomary Taisho.” said Atokata motioning to the man behind her “Why don’t we go talk, if I heard correctly you have some information on the case we are working on.”

“Yes, I may be able to help.” Kilala said walking into an investigating room behind the two investigators.
