Two days had passed since Kagome was kidnapped by Kouga. Kagome was sitting on her bed looking through an old box filled with pictures of the days when Kagome was happy with Kouga the days where she felt like she could be in his arms forever and felt safe.
“Kouga.” Kagome whispered as a tear dropped onto the picture.
“Why? How did this all start?” Kagome said as more tears started to fall more rapidly done her gentle and fair face. Kagome just sat on her bed looking at the picture of her and Kouga at the amusement park and he was holding her as they smiled you wouldn’t even recognize Kagome now. Kagome was so happy and her raven hair glittered in the light and Kouga looked liked he really cared for her, but it was all a lie his smile and the way he held her it was all a lie. Kagome couldn’t handle it anymore she put the picture back in the box and stared at the box with tears still falling. After staring at the box for a good couple minutes she took it and put it in the darkest corner of her closet.

Kagome let one last whimper of Kouga name leave her breath and then the phone rang.
Kagome ran to her night stand and wiped her tears away before answering the phone. “Hello?” Kagome asked trying hard not to let out any sign that she had just been crying

“Hey Kagome! How ya doin?” Ayame asked at the other end.
“Hey Ayame I’m ok so whats up?” Kagome asked.
“Nothing much Sango called me to see if we wanted to meet up with them later.” Ayame said.
“Ummm…sure…what time?” Kagome asked.
“We were thinking maybe two.”
“Ok see ya guys then.” Kagome said.
After the girls talked for a while Kagome hung up and got ready it was two and Ayame and Sango came and picked her up.
“Now all we have to pick up is Inuyasha and Miroku.” Sango said heading for their house.
“Hey Kagome can you turn on the radio?” Shippo asked.
“Huh sure.” Kagome said.

“Feh it’s not my ears that are sensitive I just can’t stand crappy music.” Inuyasha said.
“Inuyasha I thought that you put a spell to conceal your half demon form?” Kagome asked.
“Feh we go to a private beach so I don’t have to. Twitch…Twitch… What are you doing!” Inuyasha yelled.
“Sorry it was to temping your ears are so cute.” Kagome replied still touching the soft white dog ears.
“Urgh but there not yours to touch!” Inuyasha snapped.
To no avail Kagome still pet them pretty soon Inuyasha just gave up the fight and gave in to Kagome gentle hands rubbing his ears.
“Hey we’re here!” Miroku said.
Sango drove into a parking space. Everyone got out of the car Sango, Ayame and Kagome went into a booth and changed into their bathing suits. Kagome walked out wearing a red bikini, Sango wore a blue bikini, and Ayame wore a pink bikini.
Inuyasha took off his shirt showing his muscles Kagome could only stare with drool going down her mouth.
“Kagome are you ill you have drool going down you mouth?” Shippo said staring at Kagome.
“Huh oh I’m fine.” Kagome said with a big smile looking down at Shippo and wiping away the drool.
Ayame walked over to where Kagome and Shippo were standing.
“Ayame I think Kagome is sick.” Shippo said as he found a spot in the sand to build a sand castle.
“Kagome don’t lie you know you like Inuyasha he’s hot…protective…ni….well he’s hot.” Ayame said.
“Ayame what makes you so sure that I’m interested in him he’s a jerk.” Kagome replied.
“Oh come on I saw the way you were staring at him.”

“Come on are we just going to stand here all day! Let’s get in the water all ready!” Inuyasha yelled with impatience.

“I’ll stay here and tan for a little bit with Sango.” Ayame said putting out her beach towel.
“Sango do you need any help with putting the sun lotion on?” Miroku was only greeted with a slap to the face by Sango.
“I was only trying to help in case of need.” Miroku replied to the slap from Sango.
“Kagome why don’t you go swim your tan enough.” Sango and Ayame urged.
Kagome knew why everyone except for her and Inuyasha weren’t in the water.
Kagome blushed a little at the thought of her and Inuyasha being alone together, but quickly shrugged the thought away.
Kagome decided to swim at a lengths distance from Inuyasha. Kagome glanced over at Inuyasha as he dove under water and shot back up with sprinkles of water caught on his silver hair.
~I wonder if Inuyasha is really as much of an asshole as he makes himself seem, he doesn’t seem to be as insensitive right now.~ Kagome thought to herself~ Wait what am I saying why should I care Inuyasha is just an asshole I bet he is in capable of being nice even for a second~
“Hey lets play volleyball!” Shippo yelled getting out his ball from his bag.
“Excellent idea Shippo I suggest that Sango, Shippo, and I be on a team and Kagome and Inuyasha be on the other team.” Miroku replied.
“Feh….why should I be on the same team as that wench and why do you guys get three players!” Inuyasha yelled as he got out of the water.
“Well you’re a half demon so you’re stronger there for you get two players.” Sango said.
“Feh…Shippo is a demon why is he on the team with three?” Inuyasha replied.
“He’s a kid he isn’t as strong as you.” Replied Sango.
“Whatever.” Inuyasha said going to his side of the court.
Kagome joined Inuyasha and the game was on///

“Come on are we just going to stand here all day! Let's get in the water all ready!” Inuyasha yelled with impatience.
“I agree with Inuyasha.” Implied Miroku.
“I'll stay here and tan for a little bit with Sango.” Ayame said putting out her beach towel.
“Sango do you need any help with putting the sun lotion on?” Miroku was only greeted with a slap to the face by Sango.
“I was only trying to help in case of need.” Miroku replied to the slap from Sango.
“Kagome why don't you go swim your tan enough.” Sango and Ayame urged.
Kagome knew why everyone except for her and Inuyasha weren't in the water.
Kagome blushed a little at the thought of her and Inuyasha being alone together, but quickly shrugged the thought away.
Kagome decided to swim at a lengths distance from Inuyasha. Kagome glanced over at Inuyasha as he dove under water and shot back up with sprinkles of water caught on his silver hair.
~I wonder if Inuyasha is really as much of an asshole as he makes himself seem, he doesn't seem to be as insensitive right now.~ Kagome thought to herself~ Wait what am I saying why should I care Inuyasha is just an asshole I bet he is in capable of being nice even for a second~
“Hey lets play volleyball!” Shippo yelled getting out his ball from his bag.
“Excellent idea Shippo I suggest that Sango, Shippo, and I be on a team and Kagome and Inuyasha be on the other team.” Miroku replied.
“Feh….why should I be on the same team as that wench and why do you guys get three players!” Inuyasha yelled as he got out of the water.
“Well you're a half demon so you're stronger there for you get two players.” Sango said.
“Feh…Shippo is a demon why is he on the team with three?” Inuyasha replied.
“He's a kid he isn't as strong as you.” Replied Sango.
“Whatever.” Inuyasha said going to his side of the court.
